Congratulations Meg and Mia !!!

Thanks guys, we're doing great. I am indeed breasfeeding and it's going fantastically - my son was born quite small for a singleton and we were told he might have trouble feeding. Well, there hasn't been any need for supplementing and at his 1-week checkup he had ...

Hi, any of you had your babies yet?

Our precious baby boy was born ten days ago, Sept 14, at 36 weeks 6 days. I had a c-section due to a threat of cord prolapse and the fact that ultrasounds seemed to indicate that the growth of the baby had slowed down. Our son was born very healthy though, and ...

I'm a brand new mom - my son was born a week and two days ago - and I too was very apprehensive about breastfeeding beforehand, as most of my friends had either had trouble with it or at least said that it was more difficult than they thought. In the end I decided to give it a 100 percent, as I ...

Thanking your RE/OB?

I was wondering how you guys have thanked your RE/OB after a successful pregnancy and delivery? A thank you note with a baby pic seems to be a given, but has anyone sent flowers etc? I'm especially interested in what seems to be a good way to go here in the US.

I've had a very difficult pregnancy ...

Hi ladies!

Shanny , congratulations on your son!!!

K-rose , how are you doing? I hope your cervical changes stopped and you have since been allowed up. Bedrest sucks so bad!!!

...which I know, because I was put on it on week 26 because of a severely shortened cervix. They didn't think I'd make ...

Tams , what I have now (after my operations) is pretty much an arcuate uterus - it has a "dent" on top but is still just one cavity. As the uterus is otherwise normal in size, my RE is predicting a very good outcome although the HSG images don't look exactly like a normal uterus. He explained that ...

Stayinghopeful , I think that's a great solution, doing those things together. That's what we were going to do - I also thought of acupuncture and the herbs as more of a supporting factor to the reproductive technology than as a solution on its own. I'm so happy that the timing seems to work for ...

Hi Stayinghopeful,

and first let me say how sorry I am for your miscarriage - I've been through that myself and it is the most difficult thing that ever happened to me. I'm so glad that you feel able and willing to try again - I firmly believe it will happen for you!

We did indeed have issues with ...

Hi girls,
nice to see you're doing fine and growing your little ones happy and healthy!

Sha , I can't believe it's going to be 16 weeks for you already - that's so great! For us there was a huge difference bw/ the ultrasound images at 12 and 16 weeks, so you just wait :D

My little one is kicking ...

My OB told me at 16 weeks that I seem to be expecting a boy, but as she said she couldn't get a hundred percent perfect view, to keep a question mark after the sex. At 20 weeks it was confirmed that I am, indeed, having a boy. So they can often tell at that time, but if the baby doesn't fully ...

I think whatever makes you feel good about yourself is good! And maybe what works now will not be what works in, say, ten weeks, but you can always change then.

I'm wearing my pre-pregnancy bikinis and I think they look really cute with the bump :D

Happy swimming!

Karen , so glad to hear it was just round ligament pain - it's uncomfortable but definitely not harmful or dangerous. hang in there!

Well, my Braxton Hicks have gotten worse by the day - not necessarily in intensity but in number and in frequency. My OB really wasn't happy about that when I saw ...
