stopping breast feeding - advice please

I only breast feed at night and one a day and are doing bottles for the rest of the feeds. is it possible to go cold turkey? does ...

hello everyone, sorry I've been AWOL, it's all been a bit crazy. we've been back in the UK now for 2.5months and in that time we've had to find a house, buy new appliances, open bank accounts....you name it....thought it would be way easier. My girls are now 7.5 months and are so much fun. I'm ...

try the medela special needs bottle...are you in the UK? if so they sell it on mothercare.com...if not I think they call it a Haberman bottle in the US but it's the same thing. It worked for us, in fact I'm thinking of reintroducing it as my 7.5month old now won't take a bottle again! Good luck.

NUK bottles

is anyone using NUK bottles? I have been struggling to find a bottle my girls will take (still BF'ing) and they seem to like the NUK bottles with the latex teats - the only problem is they seem to take ages for them to take the milk. I have bought medium, 2 which says it's for 6 - 18 months but it ...

Hi Kipatte,

we moved back as our visa's were dependent on my job and I wasn't ready to return to work, we also wanted to be closer to family so we can have a bit of help now and again! We're in Yorkshire in the wet and wind!!

hello, sorry it's been so long - so much has happened! We relocated back to the UK about 2 weeks ago and so it's been crazy. For the record I don't recomend a 15 hour plane journey and 8 hour time difference for 5 month old twins!! I was on such a good schedule and it all went out the window. 2 ...

hayley, thanks for sharing your schedule, it's refreshing to hear another mum having a similar day to mine and its not just me having issues with inadeqate naps. i sometimes think i read to much and give myself a hard time that we're not getting 3x 1.5hr naps per day and a 12 hour stint at night ...

Hi kipatte, your post made me smile - I'm a Brit living in America (although moving home in September ...but that's a whole different post); I've lived here 3 years now and couldn't believe the size of the washer and dryer when we bought our house (and the fridge!). Fortunately or unfortunately, I ...
