It was painful for me to move for 2 days and I felt much better lying down. I would take off day of retrieval plus 1 - 2 days following if you are able.

Sweety - Sorry you are dealing with gestational diabetes. Just when you think the shots are over - their back.

How was your nt scan today? I had mine today as well. It was very exciting. So far everything looks good according to the ultrasound tech. Of course the Dr still has to review and I have ...

Water is good, but my clinic had me drink lots of Gatorade to avoid OHSS. I also stimulated well and after ER I was told to drink 8 oz of Gatorade every hour while I was awake and eat lots of protein to help reduce the risk of OHSS. These apparently balance out your system so you don't have as much ...

My daughter threw up every time I put her on tummy. Eventually I gave up. She started sitting up probably around 8 months and walking on her own at 10 months 1 day. She never really laid on her stomach and didn't really crawl much until after she could set up and could crawl without her stomach ever ...

I don't have any problems to report. I just wanted to tell you that when I was around 25 weeks with my daughter we flew from Miami to San Francisco and back. When I asked the doctor said it was fine, but if I had any concern to get an aisle seat so it would be easier to get up and move around every ...

Mine didn't do a second beta. My beta was 14 days past transfer and the next appt was the ultrasound 3 weeks later at which point they check for location and a heartbeat. Both of those are later than most I've seen, but I guess medically they can't change anything so my clinic doesn't do the extras ...

We had the same situation with my daughter who is now nearly 3. I think her problem was reflux/colic though. She was always uncomfortable when laying flat. Our pediatrician told us just to prop up one end of the mattress, but she moved around so much she just ended up sideways at the bottom in a ...

I was told "modified couch potato" for 48 hours, after than no sex for 2ww also nothing that would bounce you around too much due to ovaries still being enlarged. (ie horseback riding, jetski, boating on smaller boat that could bounce around, etc) and no heavy lifting.

FYI - The shots that you give yourself are tiny needles and really no big deal. Believe it or not, I barely felt them. (I didn't have to mix anything though.) I'm not sure what you were told, but I would do one in the stomach (Follistim) and one in the thigh (Ganirelix) each morning. The stomach one ...

I did my 1st round of IVF w ICSI in May. (Successful - currently 11weeks pregnant). I did Ganirelix. (Follistim for the stimulation part). What part seems more complicated? My timing ended up being the same as yours day 13 retrieval and day 18 transfer. However they didn't give me exact dates to ...

I had the same issue at about 6 1/2 weeks. I hadn't done an ultrasound, so I called and went in fearing an ectopic pregnancy. As it turned out my ovaries were still swollen (very mild OHSS) and they think one may have moved a little causing some pain. My pain only lasted that one day though. You ...

Qbndaddy-You sound very involved and helpful, that is great! I took Zofran with my first pregnancy (my daughter is nearly 3 years old). My clinic said to obstain for the 2ww and then until the ultrasound if pregnant.

I've seen alot of different things, but after everything it took to get here, we waited. As others said, I would have been devastated if I had a miscarraige and we I thought there was any chance we could blame it on ...

Good Luck!

My clinic did not do a beta until 14 days post transfer - 19 days post retrieval. Of course since it was so late I knew a week earlier from an HPT. No 2nd beta. They did an ultrasound 3 weeks later. (So after my BFP nothing until I was nearly 8 weeks pregnant.)

Since my first number was good, they ...
