momwanttobe, I wondered many times before doing IVF why God did not want me to have a child. I don't think this is the case anymore than when a mother loses her husband and children in a car accident. Does that mean that God did not want her to be a mother anymore? The fact is that bad things happen ...

I have had 3 ivfs with icsi and ah, 2 of them were successful.

I am a poor responder (no more than 4 eggs retrieved). I have done the long lupron protocol (bfp), micro-flare (bfn) which gave me the poorest quality of embies, and an antagonist protocol (bfp). For me , the antagonist produced the best quality of embies, I even had two left over to freeze.

Lou, I have always been a poor respoonder, but it has worked for me. I also have signifigant endo and uterine fibroids. One ovary also usually only produces one egg. I have never had more than 4 eggs retrieved. All were fertilized with ICSI and assisted hatching was done.
