Pam,

I can tell you from experience that you can have success with the first attempt, and be over 35. Not unrealistic at all!

I was 41 when I had my IVF/ICSI done this past summer (our very first attempt). I only had 5 eggs retrieved and of those only 3 fertilized. My doctor transferred those 3 ...

Please reassure your friend that what she is experiencing is not that uncommon and has happened to many of us here. :(

My RE had recommended that I use Mira-LAX and Fiber-Sure which I found to be helpful when I was going through that stage.

I realize that we tend to be a very quiet group, but my goodness it has been a long time. :? Is it because we are all just coasting along now, nothing to report or chat about? I would love to know more about what you guys are feeling/experiencing. Who has felt the baby/babies yet? Tell me how that ...

Hi,
Congratulations to all of you on your BFP! Welcome to this side of the board. As far as calculating your due date: if you look to the left side of your screen on this site you will see a link called "Pregnancy Calculator" under the heading of Resources. I know...I didn't notice it right ...

I had my second appointment yesterday with our obstetrician. We heard the heartbeat again. So amazing. I just can't seem to get enough of that. Also, even though I am almost 17 weeks along, the baby is measuring at 19 weeks. (I'm so proud). Needless to say, I'm showing finally. Which is pretty ...

Bless your heart. My morning sickness didn't start until about my 8th week. But it sounds exactly like what you are experiencing. I am almost 15 weeks now and it is beginning to subside (though some women stop around week 12, so please don't go by my experience). You need to be careful though to ...

Welcome Renee! And congratulations to your and your DH on your pregnancy! We are glad that you have joined us, but you will find that we tend to be a fairly quiet group. Not sure why. :? Perhaps we will become a chattier group when we are all farther along. I'm hoping so anyway. I see that you are ...

It has been so long since the last posting on this thread I wanted to check up on all of the February 2008 moms (and you too qbndaddy). How are you all doing???

We had our first "real" OB appointment today. So different from what we are used to at the RE! But everything looked good. And we were ...

qbndaddy,
I found the preggie-pops at our local baby supply store, however, you can read more about them here: http://www.threelollies.com/.

And no, I don't think that you are getting too involved in your wife's pregnancy appointments. You can never be too involved. We love it when you (DH) are ...

qbndaddy: My doctor prescribed zofran for me yesterday. She warned us about the cost (avg $20 per pill), however, our insurance is fabulous. We only paid $10 for 20 pills. :D The doctor also told me to try taking only a half a pill at a time to see if that is all of the dosage that I need. If you ...

Great news on your ultrasound today Erica, congratulations! I know exactly how you feel. We had a routine one done today. We not only got to see our little bean's heart beating again, but this time we got to see him/her moving around as well. Just amazing!

Our nurse told us that the baby looks ...

Welcome KAW! And congratulation on your BFP. Hopefully everything will turn out just fine for you on Friday. Have they been monitoring your progesterone levels? What about Beta levels after your positive result? If your doctor's office doesn't seen concerned, and tells you that it is just a delay ...

Hi Jessica,

Congratulations on your multiples! Wow! Are you excited?? Overwhelmed? Numb?

I didn't know that progesterone levels could indicate more than one baby. I am 7w0d as of today (Friday, July 6th). But my progesterone levels are pretty high. In the last 3 weeks it has ranged from 157 ...

Hey Brandi,

I understand the whole "never ending worry" thing. We tried so hard to get where we are; it's hard not to think that something may go wrong. Believe me, I understand!

As far as cramps go, I haven't had any period-like cramps, though I do have what I would describe as more of a pulling ...
