Re: Fresh IVF? Think twice.

I am a big believer in the FET as well. Not to say that babies are not born all the time via fresh cycles, just that there are great things about doing a frozen cycle. Your body is under so much less stress because you haven't just recently went through all the hormones, surgery, stress, etc of IVF ...

Re: 2 day transfer success???

It is suprising that you started with so many and only ended up with that could be transferred. BUT you honestly only need one good one!!! (The quality of the ones that did not make it does not indicate the quality of the ones that did. Those may have been abnormal in some way and the ones you ...

Re: slow rising hcg after ivf

She is right your numbers are within the slower range of normal. It is so hard to tell....sometimes I really wish they did not tell us the beta levels. They cause a lot more stress than they are worth! Also, I have heard that once the numbers get above 1,000 they start to slow down as far as ...

Re: 8w, small gestational sack with fetal pole. worried

Sorry to hear that it ended with a miscarriage. I sadly know exactly what you are going through....but I can say that after 3 early miscarriages, we now have two miracle little boys! You seem to be considering your options so I thought I would add another to your list. We concieved our miracles ...

So, I was surfing the net yesterday reading more info on IVF (as if I haven't already experienced enough myself ), when I came across this story. For the women who have wanted something to hang on to when their cycles do not seem to be going according to plan, this is the story for you. All my years ...

Re: New to IVF/ICSI

Hi, welcome to the boards!! This is a great place to be for support, I was on here religiously when I was going through our treatments. Many years later (and two miracle babies later) I still come around to try to help out the newbies :). If you have any questions you think I could help you with ...

Encouraging Story

I have shared the first half of my story hear before, but I figured it was worth updating. I have had soooo much support from these boards through the past few years and I hope that our story can encourage some of you still trying after multiple attempts.

First we were diagnosed with male factor ...

Re: Ghost or ladies.. E2 and progesterone level after transf

My clinic always liked to see the progesterone stay above 20. I had some issues when mine fell to 11. As for the estrogen, there is a very very wide range. It would be very hard to give you a good answer for that. Mine has been anywhere from 400 to just under 1000 for this cycle. I think that is ...

Re: Health Of an Egg donor?

Just simple stuff. Eat as much vegetables and fruit as possible, and try to avoid smoking, alcohol, and limit the caffeine intake. Light excercise, but nothing too intense. Good luck to you. It is great that she is willing to do this for you!

Re: Here we go again. Ghost or anyone plz help

Hope you have a little miracle. We had a similar situation and it did not end well. Just wanted to tell you that we went through three early miscarriages and still went on to have a healthy baby. Just wanted to let you know that you can go on to have a healthy baby. Hope this is the one! Sorry you ...

Re: ghost/ladies ... 5w5d ultrasound

Thanks. They are not using the measurments...they have what you are, then what you are measuring at each appointment. They said I was 6w2d yesterday, but I was measuring 6w1d. The reason I feel a little concerned is because everything else says I was 6w4d, which puts me three days behind instead of ...
