Our Doctor told us at 6 weeks the % went to 10 and at 8 weeks it went to 5 so we were both sighing a huge relief.

When they put the microphone right on the babies and you hear their heatbeats everything becomes really real !

Hey Shari,

Absolutely...my betas were: 488, 1401, 4100....but when I was in the waiting room yesterday one lady waiting told me they were expecting twins and her highest beta was 1700......so I'm lost when it comes to these numbers predicting multiples.

Yeah, I had a similar cramping one night & it lasted until I went to sleep and then a little when I woke up....sure enough it was implantation.
I am 5 weeks and 1 day !

Very good sign!!!!

Hey 2ndtimer....I did, it was 1,488. I'm happy...but I want you to know that although I have a high number I never feel out of the woods....I don't think I will relax until I'm crowning !

Hey 2ndtimer, Keep thinking good thoughts...I have seen a lot of girls who had way lower ..... for example I just read a strand from Fertility Community where the girl went from 55 to 86 and then the next beta she started doubling and was fine .

Just a quick note on something that happened this morning.....I snuck in the bathroom and took a HPT (DH does not want me to do this because he is so scared of false positives)....well it came up positve :).

So now we are paciently awaiting our beta on Tuesday!
