Endo-freak--- wow, just reading your posts, I can feel how angry, frustrated, and hopeless you are feeling. You've received a lot of really helpful advice from the ladies here, I particularly liked the post from 2ndtimer- it was very insightful.

I think what your are telling us all is that you ...

Thanks again everyone for your encouraging words. I know you all mean well and I so appreciate your support.

I just feel hopeless and completely defeated. Plain and simple. Nothing anyone seems to say makes me feel any better. I know this isn't the end of the world, but for me it is. I feel like I ...

http://clinicaltrials.gov/

YOu can check out that site for some, or just go to the CDC site here
http://apps.nccd.cdc.gov/ART2005/clinics05.asp
and click on your state for a list of clinics in your area and either check out their websites or just call them and ask if they have any current ...

Thank you for your supportive replies. How do I go about finding a "Study"? I've not really heard too much about this.

I just had my 3rd surgery for my Endo a month ago and the surgeon who did it was voted one of the top doctors in the US. So I know he was good and he even said the endo was bad ...

Just Realized We Can't Do IVF :(

I am just beyond devestated. We've been preparing ourselves for this new road, I have an appt with the RE in the beginning of July to discuss the next step of IVF and have been going back and forth with my decision to actually go through with it. One day I'm ready to do it and the next I decide to ...

Thanks everyone for your replies. :) I guess I'm still in more shock than I realized. Since I've only known since October that we'd have to do IVF if we wanted to get pregnant, it's only really been a few months and the first couple my head was spinning. :( I'm slowly coming to my reality and trying ...

How in God's name do you pay for IVF??

We are in the "I want a baby so badly we'll do anything to get pregnant" stage, but I just cannot get the cost of this damn procedure out of my head. How on earth do you (when I say you I mean every woman out there having to go through IVF) even make the decision to fork out that kind of cash? And ...

I have stage 4 endo and have not done any type of 'detox' diet. I also have other health issues that kinda prevent me from doing that type of diet. I think it's just something that if you know you can stick with it then how can it hurt you? Unless you have other health issues. But us TTC'ers try so ...

Hi hrobinson,

Thanks for the reply. That is so funny, well, not Ha-Ha funny, but ironic I guess. I had horrible cramps and this odd mid-abdomen pain with my periods since I got my first one at the ripe old age of 10. :( Yep, I was one of the unlucky ones. I remember it to this day how much pain I ...

Thank you both so much for replying. I am so glad to hear the IVF drugs don't hinder the process. That was my biggest fear. And of course I'll ask my doctor all these quesions. But since I have no clue when this is all going to start I'm trying to get educated.

My fears have been relieved. I thank ...

Hey Loopie! Thanks for the welcome. :) I have been wondering if I should have skipped the IUI's too since the endo was so bad, but my doctor had me do it anyway. Of course I have not educated myself on the inner-workings of IVF so before we head down that bumpy road I'm taking in all the info I can ...

For those who have Endo and did IVF

I'm new to these boards and am in the process of educating myself on IVF. I have stage 4 endo and have done 2 IUI's, both failed.

My question for those of you with the severe type, how did the meds affect your endo?? Did it have to be called off? I'm wondering because just doing the 2 IUI's ...

Hi! I'm new too.......

I'm an emotional mess and am so thankful to have found this site.

My story:

I'm 31, married 10 yrs this past Dec., we have 3 children with 4 legs on each of them.

Was diagnosed with Stage 4 endo this past May. I had been diagnosed 'officially' over a year ago and then my GYN put me on ...
