Just wanted to give you an update. Had my first US today. Only one bean. I was a little sad, but know that it will be a LOT easier w/ one. We didn't see the heartbeat. It was 12.3 mm long, I think.

I think my "ovulatory dsyfunction" diagnosis was laziness on my Doctor's part. In the past year I have had 3 long cycles. (1) when I first got off the pill (2) when I hiked the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu in Peru (3) when I got a really really bad stomach virus that had me nauseus for weeks ...

Brandy, Kbat, I often wondered how all these people with 3, 4, 5+ and counting kids who conceived and lived recklessly could have so many children and I have to struggle to get one so badly. I often thought about just snatching one up...thinking that they probably wouldn't notice.

Sue Hu--I definitely had cramping....I remember crying in bed for 40 min. b/c I had climbed two sets of stairs and it felt like something was being jabbed in my vajayjay. It goes away. By the afternoon the day after the ER, I was totally recovered.

Kate65--I too am a runner & exerciser (see my name:>). I used to run 40-60 miles a week cut back to ~35 miles a week after we started trying to conceive through the month before IVF. I didn't lift weights after I started the stimming. Once I started stimming, I cut back to running 3-4 Xs a week ~7 ...

Just got my 2nd beta: 1139...which is almost doubling but not quite. My nurse said it was fine. This is good, right?

My first response: do not overanalyze these symptoms. There is not way to know until you get the blood test. Symptoms can either be related to a pregnancy OR the meds we are on. You will drive yourself crazy with this.

Had my 2nd beta today. I am so nervous. What if the numbers don't increase? I swear I don't feel any preg symptoms other than sore BBs and occassional twinge down there. I wish I was really nauseous or something!
