Seejae - I just had my first period after my 1st failed IVF cycle. It came over a week late and it was a very heavy period (I usually have light ones) but no pain.

I have been out of the loop a little. We went away for an extended weekend to visit friends. It was fabulous. It feels like all this IVF stuff happened so long ago. Amazing how resilient humans can be. I am going to try to set up an appt to meet w/ our RE next week sometime to discuss ...
So, we got the official BFN yesterday. It was 'nice' to be prepared for it.. especially since I was at work. Geez, u should have seen the disappointment on all my co-workers' (all women) faces :-/
BUT, I have to tell you.. it was very nice to have my first glass of wine last night ...
Faina - They actually take one Insurance.. ours. So, we definitely lucked out with that.
Tennisgurl - we consulted w/ Dr. Schlegel too (who doesn't take ANY insurance) and he decided DH didn't need TESE for this cycle... I wonder if that would have made a difference, since our 1st (and only, so far ...
Jill_n_Mark - I am sorry that you got that news. But I think your embies are better off inside of you too! PMA!! I was pretty shocked and disheartened w/ our fertilization report too... it's what concerns me the most now out of the whole process.
First of all.. CONGRATS J&C .. that is so awesome for you guys!!
I, however, was right about my gut feeling, unfortunately. I POAS-ed this AM (as opposed to my original plan of tomorrow since DH is working all day tom.) and... it was -ve :-((.
Thanks for those that were checking in on me. Very sweet. I am OK. I had a little breakdown yesterday, nerves I guess. (DH was here and he was wonderful, so that helped.) But I did feel very overly-emotional... pms maybe? :-/
This is definitely going to be a tough 2 days until I POAS on ...
Jen - thx for asking. I am trying my best to keep PMA. I have also felt some twinges and tiny stabs of pain and some slight sensations in my ovaries... who knows!
Jen - I forgot to answer the POAS question. Yes, we will test, probably on Sunday.. just so the news is not a total shock when the nurse calls the next day.
We only had 2 to transfer.. and they were little weaklings at only 4 and 6 cells :-) So, we shall see.. I, surprisingly, am feeling rather calm (very unlike me :-) and patient the last couple of days. On the other hand, risking sounding negative, I really don't think it worked for us this ...
Kbear - good luck to you!!!! It's great that you are really feeling it this time. our PMA is awesome.
Kimbers - I am very sorry for your BFN, but you seem to be holding up very well. It will happen soon, for sure!
