I am due to start my second IVF in March. All I have to wait for is AF at beginning of March and the rollercoaster of emotions shall begin.

I'm sort of new to this. I am hoping to start treatment on 13/03/06. I don't know quite yet what to expect as I am having my planning appointment with the nurses on 14/02/06 at CARU (cardiff unit) so not sure what protocol they use (does anyone know?).

Hope you don't mind but I have added my name to the list. Feels strange to see it there as I have scrolled these pages for a while now looking at the names with the results by them. God, I hope mine will be a happy face!!!

Heather - your website is truly amazing, you have so much courage and I have taken strength from reading and looking at the photos. I cannot even begin to understand what you have been through. I hope you are finding strength from this site. Hope your future will be bright.

Am still waiting for 1st AF - should arrive on Wednesday but haven't had the slightest twinge (normally do) - how typical, it will probably be late just so things don't go to plan

Thanks for the list Kelly it makes it much easier to keep track of what is going on.

It looks like we are all waiting for our AF, im not due till Thursday and I am always late. Hope im late this time otherwise it will clash with my holiday in Egypt , I thought I had it all timed perfectly so fingers crossed I wanted to go away and relax for a week before starting FET again.

Hope everyone is ok. Valentines day tomorrow so I think I will treat myself to a glass of wine.

Hey there Babydreams - welcome to the site! How did your appointment go today? I hope you got some great info and really looking forward to your journey. It's not always fun, and never easy, but all the BFPs that I have read about (and soon we will have...) make it such a nice experience.

I have had 2 blood tests since last week, and they keep telling me that my levels look good, but they want me to wait. ARGH! I was so sure that yesterday they were going to give me the green light to start FSH that when she said not to start until Friday, I got all emotional. So silly, but DH is away, so was just a little low. Anyway, Friday is the day! They are starting me on a lower dose so that hopefully I wont hyperstimulate again. The earliest EC date is 28 Feb, so I'm just hoping everything goes well. My boss today told me that I can take 3 weeks sick leave, so I'm over the moon about that.

I can't figure out how to post the dancing smilies, but I'm sending a huge AF jig to everyone waiting for AF! (the tip that worked for me was wear your nicest white underwear!).

Don't think I've been so glad for AF to arrive as I was today - I was beginning to get worried as am normally spot on day 28 and it's day 29 today!!

1 AF down, another to go at least next time I can call the clinic and get dates to start nasal spray and for baseline etc.

Gail P - When are you going to Egypt? sounds like you are really looking forward to a welcome rest.

Bella - it's nearly Friday and you can start FSH

Sharon - how did your appointment go on Tuesday?

Any news from anyone else? - Have AF's arrived yet - when are they due?

Hi Kelly

Appointment wenk OK but was told that from the scan they can see a hydrosalpinx in my remaing tube which I was a bit disappointed about. They said they can drain it when they do EC but I just hope it doesn't refil quickly as this can reduce my chances.

Plus I have a small cyst on the right ovary.

Anyway, got my appointment next week with the nurse to go over dates and meds etc. Looking to start possibly on 3rd March, so quite excited really.

Just really worried about the hydrosalpinx, another big hurdle to get over, as if going through IVF itself wasnt enough.

Anyway, trying to stay positive.
