Hi Alison, sorry to read your news. It's tough I know. Best thing to do is concentrate on getting back to "normal" and your holiday which I know you'll do. Easier said than done I know.

Take some time out for yourselves. Thinking of you. Jo. xxxxx

Hi Alison.
So sorry to hear. I echo what everyone else has said. A holiday is what you need. Our 1st attempt was abandoned in Jan. We had our holiday in June and it was like escaping (if you get what I mean). We are now in the middle of our 2nd go.
Have a great holiday and good luck with whatever you decide.
luv to you both
Bertie x

Hi again - thank you so much for your kind words, it really does mean such a lot.

Yesterday was really such a wierd day. I'd been really convinced it had worked, right up to going into the clinic yesterday morning, and then gradually during the day I became sure it would be bad news again - I actually put off ringing til quite late I was so sure. So when I heard the news it was just confirming what I felt I already knew. Not sure whether that was sixth sense, self-protection, or just not being able to imagine it being different from the usual bad news of those phone calls.

I really do though feel OK at the moment, but recognise my self defence mechanism of running round being busy, and that at some point it may all catch up with me. We've not told friends and family about the timing of this cycle, but I suspect that the next person who asks how its all going may get a rather tearful and self-pitying response!

Thanks again - I'm so touched to have heard from people I feel like I've known for ever and new people too, much love

Alison x
I have been thinking of you over the past few days, but haven't been able to log on cos of the problems with the system.

Relaxation and pampering should be top of your agenda now until you feel strong enough to make the next step.

Hope you have a wonderful holiday, wherever you decide to go.

Lots of love and hugs,

Jo
xx
