Lisa,

I am still doing shots and will continue - I would rather the shot than the alternative - I know last time I was pregnant they let me switch over to progesterone pills around 8 weeks - so I am hoping for that!

I am still high but I have crazy moments....these moments make me want to run out and by a test, then always squeezing 'the girls' (if you know what I mean) to make sure they are still sore....Of course I check the paper EVERy time I got to the bathroom - its really crazy....I will calm down after my scan on tuesday - cause that rules out a lot of things and then by 8 weeks, chances of miscarriage drop signifigantly...Since I am high risk I will also meet with my OB next week on thursday!

Well I finally got the call from my Dr. Office.

My HCG - 19 dpo is 3556 and prog is 26.3. My first scan is scheduled for 5/8 which is 3 days earlier than I thought - so that is nice!

I have to keep on prog. shots until at least 5/8. After that point assuming everything looks healthy my doc may switch me to suppositories.

Call me crazy - but that HCG seems high to me for 19 dpo. I know it's too early to tell - but I feel like I am having twins - just a gut feeling.

The ranges are impossible to tell - but a mothers intuition on the other hand is something else!!! Go with your gut be prepared for just one so you don't think that you have lost something....May 3rd sounds on target since you should be about 6 weeks...I can't wait for next tuesday to see my little bebe

I had two transferred - but my numbers are similar to last time I was pregnant - and last time it was only 1 - so right now I am assuming its one - which is perfectly fine with me!!!

I don't mean to state the obvious here - but are such lucky, lucky women. It's seems like for so long I was watching everyone around me get pregnant and, at first I was jealous and sad, then I went through the "we don't need children to have a good life" phase - which I think was mostly a form of denial, then I went into the determined phase in which I decided to do whatever it takes to try to have a family. Thus came the IVF rollarcoaster and now here I am. Posting on first trimester friends after one shot of IVF. I know it is still early for me (only 5 weeks today) and I do remain cautious. but when I go and read posts by the other women on the General Forum who get BFNs and disappointing news constantly I just want to hug them. I honestly pray for them and feel for them so much - but I also feel like a "big jerk" posting over there b/c I am certainly not trying to rub it in. I just want all of them to be mommies - they all deserve it. How many women - from teenagers to drug addicts - get pregnant "by accident" and don't even want their children. I know people like that in my life - they are terrible mothers and it makes me sick. Then there are women like the ones here who would all be wonderful parents and want it more than anything. It really saddens me the way life is sometimes. I guess God works in mysterious ways and I have to believe everything does happen for a reason.

I just feel so blessed right now and I want everyone to feel this way

Hey everyone!

I'm going to join you all here if you don't mind.

I did my first IVF cycle March/April Just 5 days behind Lisa! And I got my BFP.. I had my first HCG scan at 16 dpo and my levels were 171. I will be going back on monday for another!

Jamato-- I loved your ticker and I had to use it too.. I hope you dont mind =) Your pretty close to me.. Im in Connecticut. What part of MA are you in?

So of course, we go from worry period to another, right?? Now we are in the wonderful and scary world of pregnancy, where no two girls are exactly the same....Here is what I have been going through...can you relate??

- The "girls" are sore but the intensity fluctuates...sometimes I have to squeeze them to see if they are sore and other times they feel sore - After I lost Connor, my girls filled up and hurt worse then ever and stayed like that for a month as I slowly leaked - could I just be desensitized??
- Last week I started to feel nauseous around afternoon, of course this week it is coming a bit earlier, but not everyday
- Sometimes I am real hungry every few hours but there have been a couple days where I didn't seem as hungry
- Had some very light spotting intermittentantly...Like a tiny tinge on the TP of friday night and a little last night - no enough to even hit the undies, doc says no worries that is normal
- Still soooo gassy - never been so happy to be able to go number 2 - when it comes along because of course I am afraid to push with any vigour - digestion has DEFENITELY slowed down
- Happy I made it to 6 weeks - cause that is a good sign (that 5-6 week transition is a scary one but still no guarantee) of course tomorrow's U/S will be very telling...
- I woke up this AM (been sleeping on my side) and my hips were sore, think it is time for a pillow between my legs
- moody of course which comes with the flux of hormones (My last progesterone check had my prog up to 119 I think which was at 5w2d)

So anybody else with me???

Hi Jessica! I can't wait to hear how your scan goes today!

Here the symptoms I have been having at 5 weeks 4 days:

-AF type cramping has somewhat tapered off since 2ww- get a crampy/twingy feeling a couple times a day but it goes away quick.
-The "girls" have been hurting BAD the past 2 days and i have noticed some veins and changes in the size too. They were tender off and on before - but the past 2 days I can barely change my shirt without going "OWWW!" And sleeping on my stomach? Forget it!
-I am very tired, especially by the time I get home from work. Yet, when I sleep I can't get more than a couple hours b/c i have to get up and pee. Then I can't get back to sleep.
- I have no weird cravings or anything - but there a couple of foods I usually love that do not sound good anymore - like sweets.
-I haven't had full blown nausea -but I will get slightly queasy and light-headed but, again, it goes away really quick.
-I get shaky before meals. Once I eat - it goes away.
-I am somewhat irritable, but I am much worse when I am PMSing. I think I am not as bad now b/c I am so happy to be pregnant!

This is all just wonderful. I am honestly loving every second of it!

Me, you, and Danielle will all be delivering within a week or so of eachother!! Isn't that great!

It is AWESOME!!! Today I noticed after lunch that I was quesy think I ate too much!! I also know all about the getting up 2 times a night to pee!!! I also have some wacky dreams!! How about you??? Any strange dreams...
