1st trimester friends

Oh yeah your scan is tomorrow, not today - right? It is so hard to keep track of everyone on here.

Anyway - strange dreams - yep! I started having very weird dreams when I first started the Lupron. They have pretty much stayed weird ever since. My sister is pg with her second and she has been having nightmares - like really upsetting stuff ??!! Mine haven't been scary - just weird. Most of the time they just make me laugh.

The "girls" are acting up today - had a coworker laughing b/c I had to take my bra off since it was too tight - lol! Guess I need to move up a cup-size already. Sure my dh won't complain - lol

Now I am going to go home, take a nap, and get ready for my friend to stop by to give me another lovely prog. shot in the rear. I am so bruised I can barely sit! My doc said I have to continue the shots until May 7! OUCH!

Well good luck, Jessica, with your scan. I will be popping in time and again tomorrow to see how it went!

Thanks - yes it is tomorrow but at 8AM so nice and early!!!

I have had some just strange dreams and some scary dreams - scary relating to probelms with the baby to things happenining - looked into some dream interpretation and at least my dreams are not indicative of the truth - so that is a relief!

To talk about fluctuation, yesterday the "girls" barely hurt and today they are might sore - and yes DH may not mind the size increase but you still might be too sensitive to touch!!!

My DH does my shots every night - he is good and quick but my poor bum is feeling it too!!

Last time my dr let me change to the pills at 8 weeks - I hoping for the same this time round!

Good luck Jessica with the scan today!!!

I went for a scan last night at 9w3d. I saw the profile of the baby and the baby was moving around so much..arms and legs going 100mph! It was really amazing. We are 1 day behind in measurement...measured 9w2d...but doc said this is of no concern. Next scan 2 weeks from Thursday...we should see lots then because I jsut read there is a huge growth sport between 9 and 10 weeks!

Traci - things sound like they are progressing great with you. It made me smile when I read about the baby flailing his/her arms around like mad. Sounds like he/she was waving to you!

It all makes me even more excited to see my little beanie(s) on the 8th!

Hi everyone!

So I had my first scan and boy am I surprised!!! Apparently I have two gestational sacs and 3 babies, right now!!!

Baby B = 1 baby with strong heartrate of 115bpm (which is great for 6 wks)
Baby A = identical twins - one heartrate is 84bpm (not so great) and the other baby we will need to see at 8 weeks - it is right next to a blood vessel so it is hard to measure at this size...

So for now I have three babies - so far 1 with a real strong prognosis - So I over joyed, guarded and suprised! Me and DH are not going to get attached to the idea of three right now - not til we see more defenite results of the baby A twins....

Anybody else have something similar

JESSICA!! I responded to you on your triplet thread - but I am still in shock! You only had 2 embies put back, right? So one must have divided??!! Did your doctor say what the odds are of this happening? I know it is early and you are staying guarded - but WOW. That is all I can say! You have been triple-blessed!!

Yes I only had two put back so one did in fact split! We will have to wait and see - I will talk to the dr this afternoon and ask all of those questions....So for now I am happy and still guarded, I know in the end we will have at least 1 with the possibility of more than 1, thats how I am thinking for now!

Wow!!! Congratulations!
I have read of this happening before. Ive just been trying to find who it was. She was called caroline m. Just type it into the search engine under author. Dont know the outcome though!

Jessica... Thats just totally amazing..

Im really excited for you!! (and scared for me because you said our levels were the same at one point.. LOL)

I will have my first scan on monday May 1st, I can't wait..

This is what I have for levels so far..

April 3rd - EC
April 6th - ET ( 2 @ 1- 8 cell 1- 9 cell)
April 18th - HCG 171 (14 DP EC)
April 24th - HCG 2229 (20 DP EC)

They said my progesterone levels yesterday were only 26 they said that was low so I have to continue the evil shots...

but oh well... if its keeping my little jelly bean or beans in there then I guess it has to be done!

Just thought I would post my levels too so we can all compare:

I had EC on 3/30 - Day 5 transfer on 4/4 (2 grade 1 blasties)

Hcg on 4/13 - 109 (day 14 post ov.)
4/17 - 957 (day 18 post ov)
4/19 - 3556!! (day 20 post ov)

My level on 4/19 really threw me because it nearly quadrupled in two days!!

I know you can't read too much into these levels - but the nurse was chuckling - whatever that means.

Oh - and my progesterone was only in the 20's too. Seems a lot of women here have higher prog levels. Still - the nurse didn't seem concerned at all, she said everything looks great so i refuse to worry

I have to keep up with the injections until at least May 7. If everything looks good on the 5/8 scan - I will switch to suppositories and use those until 5/25.

So what happens then? Do i just stop the prog. cold turkey? That just seems bad to me for some reason. It would seem like I would need to be "weaned" off of it or something. But I guess these docs know what they are doing.

Wow, your levels all sound high!

The progesterone is somewhat weaned off, and they will test if you ask for it, to check your level then. I dropped the dose down before the cutoff date, then stopped when they wanted to. The babies will take over at a certain point. Good luck.
