I am having some cramping and am very bloated and constipated. Has anyone else had those symptoms? I am so paranoid. My nurse said that AF cramps are normal during pregnancy. I just can't wait until 7/14 when I have my first scan. I will feel so much better to get a normal scan with a heartbeat.
We have been trying to get pregnant for 1 year and 8 months now. We have gone through 2 IUI's and 2 IVF's. It just seems like I should not have gotten pregnant without the IVF. I really feel like it was a miracle.

Tammy

You have less than 1 week to wait. I am so anxious for the first scan. I will feel so much better once a get a normal scan with a heartbeat. I'm trying to analyze every twinge, cramp and symptom. Good luck on your scan!!!!!!!!!!!

Isn't it amazing that we got pregnant after failed IVF's? My doctors cannot believe it. We were preparing to start a frozen cycle but were just waiting for AF.
You are lucky that your first scan is over. Have you found out the sex of your baby yet? I have to go to my IVF doctor every 2 weeks for a scan and a progesterone test. He also gives me a long lasting progesterone booster shot. Of course, that does not take the place of the nightly progesterone shots that DH gives me.

Tammy

Unfortunately, no such luck with care here. I was seen quite often by my EPU clinic for the first 12 weeks due to spotting etc. Once you have your booking scan, that all changes and to be honest, I feel totally on my own. Despite still spotting, I'm really being left to my own devices nd don't see the midwife until next week (nearly 4 weeks since I've seen anyone) - I just have to phone the hospital if the pattern of spotting changes. You only get seen every 4 weeks by the widwife her which I think is ridiculous, especially with our history, but they seem quite indifferent to the fact that i consider this amzing etc.
Because Sam was 7 weeks early, I see a consulatant about 22 weeks and I will relay all my fears then. You don't even get a 20 week scan here so we will have to pay for that again this time - absolutely ridiculous. Things seem to be exactly the same as they were with Sam so I'm concerned they don't take more of an interest. Because of the spotting we are getting no tests done - I wouldn't do anything anyway, but hopefully we will find out the sex at 20 weeks
Rant over! Hope you are well

Sorry to hear about the indifference of your ob/gyn. My fertility doctor is not covered by my insurance plan, so I'm paying for my care out of pocket. I will have a scan every 2 weeks, but once I am transferred to my ob/gyn, I'm sure that will change. My friend, Tracy, had spotting with her pregnancy and her doctor told her that she was dehydrated and to drink more water. She was working out at the gym also.
Take care,
Tammy

Thanks for the reply. I am trying to drink what water I can - but some days it's hard.
Like you, we will pay for a scan at 20 weeks. I have the 16 weeks midwife check next Friday so I'm hoping o hear the heartbeat and I can put my mind at rest. Today was a bit worse, but I'm keeping calm and staying positive.
Hope all is well with you

I am now on my 12 week, Certain smells bother me and make me get sick, and I keep getting the dry heaves mostly at night, they are annoying. but for the most part I feel good. Other than having a belly I don't really feel pregnant yet. How is everyone else feeling?
As of June 6th, I'm 8 weeks, first scan yesterday. Triplets. Scarred out of mind!!
hi everybody hope all is well with everyone..just wishing tammy and vita both luck on your scans !!! 2 more sleeps!!! ---

How are you holding up with the triplets? I have a feeling i might be in the same boat as you... i had a beta of 33239 on day 25 and the doc(my aunt) said it was exceptionally high and real good chance of twins or triplets....
I would like to know what your doctors are telling you...if you should have a selective reduction or they are encouraging you to go through with it ?
But you must be so excited to have the opportunity to have triplets its such a blessing! I wish you so much luck and a smooth pregnancy!
May all 4 of you be healthy and happy!
