Hi Ladies, hope you are all having relaxing weekend.

I'm settling into my 2ww very well, i'm surprisingly relaxed and cool about it all, but it's still early days.

I had some spotting yesterday but it's gone away today and hopefully will stay away for the next nine months.

We start our road trip to Maryland tomorrow, which i'm really looking forward to. A week of relaxation!!!!

I will be checking up on you all as there is wireless internet in our room.

Eileen WELCOME HUN!!! You will find a lot of support on this site they are a great bunch of ladies. Good luck with your cycle hope your dreams come true.

Nicki - Good luck with your scan on Tuesday hope you have lots of follies full of healthy eggs.

Lis - Hold in there hun, not long to go now, b4 that strong BFP!!!! We can grow big and fat together...hehehehe

Vickie - How you holding up?? hope your getting all excited and keeping yourself well, ready for that first jab, then look out it will fly by.

Paula - So glad you are back hun, been thinking about you laying in the sun, drinking cocktails and getting a lovely tan, all 3 things i can't do at the moment, but it will be worth the sacrifice.
Hope you are ready for your journey to the well deserved BFP.

Ems - Hold in there hun, your get there in the end, the dr's just want everything perfect. I know it's frustrating but it will be worth it in the end.

Angela - How did your scan go?? hope you raring to go.

Sorry if ive missed anyone, good luck to you all and take care.

Hugs Rachel OXO

Retrieving Aug 1st/2nd

Post by samandaw1 »

I have just found this website and would love to go through this with others who are on my timing. Mind if I join? I am not very familiar with all the codes but trying to learn. I have been on injections for almost two weeks and on day 5 of my IVF cycle. I am schedule for retrieval (if all goes well) Aug 1st or 2nd and then implantation 3/5 days after.

Is that about where all of you are?

first ultrasound since stimming

Post by samandaw1 »

I had my first ultrasound today since starting my injections. They said I had about 16 eggs and 7 of them are good size. They are hoping the rest get bigger, I go back on Tuesday.

I assume that is good, right?

I do know the doctor said my lining is great. YEAH. Going in for retrieval a week from tomorrow

Good luck to all,

Sam

Rachel,

I think I could not find the group I started out in so I just did that posting today. Now I found you and it again, due to your posting.

Good luck with the heartburn, I have not had the luxury yet. I wake up to a fun blood drawl and ultra sound tomorrow. Wish me luck!!!

Well, I've completed on whole week of Lupron injections and it hasn't killed me yet! In to see the dr. on Friday for testing and ultrasound. I'm ready to get on with it! This seems slow going so far...
By the way, you ladies are THE most traveling group I've come across. I'd love to spend my 2ww on some lazy vacation (jealous, so jealous)!
Hope all is coming along for you all and that you are surviving the anxiety of it all. PMA! PMA! PMA!

Feeling better no im off clomid now, but definatly have a cold coming or something, it's all in the throat, coughing and lots of phelgm.

Feeling so hot and tired too, thats not clomid.....I feel like me again, i dont feel pmt'ed or tearful like i did with clomid.......Just feelin ill from this cough, and lack of sleep.
I am trying to call Dr now, to get appointment (lines are busy) but i reckon he'll say it's a throat infection or something give me antibiotic's. Which i wont take as i dont wanna ruin BFP chances....Arghhh!!! why do i have to be ill, and now of all times.

Going into 2day for scan to see what size the follies are, and iui should be i think friday/sat/sun/mon ???? Hard to say right now though!!!

I'm not a really a August buddie am?? More like a 2ww August Buddie!! LOL

Anyway, girls hope every ones funky today!!! Keep smiling xx

Hello ladies,

Haven't been on for a bit. Had loads on with work and study and poor father in law in hospital, so I have been playing florence nightingale as I am their only daughter in law and they only have sons too..not many women in this family.

Anyway, tried to catch up and its nice to see new people joining and some of you already on your way through the IVF train. Nice to see some of you are not far off testing too.

I really really hope this turns out to be a successful thread with loads and loads of BFP's. I should be due to start in the next 6/7 days, AF permitting and obviously the correct FSH & E2 levels.

Good luck everyone.

Vickie,

I am scared stiff of needles, well i was before i started all this ivf.

Don't worry! The lupron injections are so easy, you don't even feel them going in.

When i first sew the size of one of the Intermuscular needles, i instantly started crying and it took 4 hrs to get me to have it done.
Then when they jabbed me i turned around and said "Was that it." I felt so embarassed, It didn't hurt at all.

If hubby is doing them get him to practice on an orange first.

Try to relax hun, it's not as bad as it seems.

Take Care
