Tammy - don't fret about having morning sickness or not! Did you see the newspaper article about perhaps they thought it could be related to diet and being sick was just the body rejecting toxins in prepared foods etc? Maybe you eat very well LOL, LOL. Seriously, My EPU clinic said they saw many women who have no symptoms. Hope the scan goes well.

Kristin - have a good break!

Zoe:
Thanks for the info. We had our scan this morning. It was amazing!!
We saw the little embie and the heartbeat!! I got a little emotional!
The nurse said that everything looks good. Of course, it is very early in the process.

Regards,
Tammy

Kareen,

How far along are you? I have not had any morning sickness, but am always tired. It doesn't help that I have to get up twice in the middle of the night to pee :( I have my 2nd scan tomorrow :!: I can't wait. My clinic will release me around 13 weeks.

Regards,
Tammy

Hi

Hope you don't mind if I join you, I have wanted to come over to this side for so long now :D I am still in shock that I am pregnant, I think after trying for over 7 years its hard to believe I have finally got here :D

No one warned me that the 2ww is nothing compared to the wait for the 1st scan :!: 7th August so only just over a week to go (quite a bit over but just over sounds better)

Hope to get to know you all before you move on to 2nd trimester

GailP:

Congrats on your BFP!!!

It does seem like forever until your first scan.
When you have your first scan and see the heartbeat, it is amazing!

I just had my 2nd scan today and it went well. Beanie is progessing and heart is still beating strong. It is amazing how fast the little one grows in a matter of 2 weeks. Mine went from 6mm to 17.7 mm. You can make out the head now.

Regards,
Tammy

Gail~~~

Welcome aboard! Congratualations on your BFP! Its amazing to be on this side, hope you can enjoy it for the remainder of your pregnancy.
Dont worry about your scan it will come around, just try to rest as much as possible, i would force my self to sleep to make time pass by faster.
I hope you dont mind me asking a few questions like what was your beta and how many embies you transfered! Hope to hear from you soon and know that if you have any questions we will all be here to comfort you.

Tammy~~
Way to go on your second scan, im so happy your little one is doing well. Did they give you a heartrate yet? How are you feeling any symptoms overall? I have the same hte issues going to pee a few times a night and the tierdness... I have no morning sickness as well, just feel a bit nauseated once in a while if i dont eat for a time being. But for triplets i think im doing rather fine.

Kareen~~
Sweety i havent talked to you for so long, how are you and your little one doing?? I read that the morning sickness got the best of you, ya poor thing i really hope it eases off soon...If i were you and couldnt wait anymore i would just go into the hospital and tell them you are not feeling well and they would give you an ultrasound right away
I can completely understand not being able to wait, i have difficulties after one week of waiting.

As for me im doing well my three little ones seem to be growing each are about 22.5mm @ 9wks so my doctor is happy with the progress, its just my anxiety of preterm labour that keeps me up at night.

Does anyone remember the old wives tale about the heart rates? Which was what? I know that all of my beanies right now are beating between 167-176bpm and i know its fairly fast but the doc said it would eventually decrease a bit after certain number of weeks.

Wish you all goodluck and hope you alll are doing well.
With Gods Blessings BFP!

DolceVita, If I remember correctly the rates are 150 and higher- girls, 150 and lower -boys. But 2 of mine are higher than 150 and they are boys my third one is lower than 150 and it's a girl. They say they aren't 100% sure yet because I'm still early, but I hope they are right. We were hoping that they aren't all the same sex.
As of June 6th, I'm 8 weeks, first scan yesterday. Triplets. Scarred out of mind!!

Dottie~~

How is your pregnancy coming along, how far are you, i think there are only three of us here pregnant with triplets and the other is Chel. I havent heard from her for a long time as well. I know how scary carrying 3 really is, especially when the doctors scare the life out of you regarding the preterm labour and the outcome of premies. Can you give me some hope that thing will be ok...I am constantly worrying about how things will be. I tell ya the worrying doesnt have an end, but thank God i would rather worry about this then anything else in the whole world. Sometimes i feel so blessed to be pregnant with 3, if we really think about it its such a blessing. I wish you goodluck Dottie, please keep us posted on your preogress.

Dolcevita, I am now in my 2nd tri, I am 15 weeks and 1 day. If your heart rates you got were around your 8th week or before don't rely on the counts, they will most likely change like mine did, ( at first mine were all above 150) Everything is doing good, we have lots of tests and scans, I'm still on my feet and working which is a miracle. But I most likely won't make my due date, they tell us. I will most likely be having a c-section, which is fine by me just as long as they're all healthy. I went almost my whole 1st tri without getting sick, but now I'm sick in the mornings and the evenings. Not feeling any movement yet. It's still scarry, and hard to beleive that I'm pregnant. If you have any questions that I'd be able to help you with don't hesitate to ask.

Vita:

Unfortunately, my RE's ultrasound machine does not record beats per minute :( . I have a first trimester screening being done on August 17th. I'm sure they will have a much more sophisticated ultrasound, so I can't wait to actually get a number.
Did anyone else have this done? It is a screening where they perform a scan and a blood test. It is supposed to assess your risks for having a baby with genetic abnormalities.
