Hi Everyone,

I'm here to reintroduce myself as AF arrived to day and I am now officially on my 3rd IUI cycle. I start Clomid on sunday and then the usual bloods/scans etc.

I will really love your help along the way as if this one fails, we will go straight into an IVF cycle. I'm hoping it won't get to that and we will be third time lucky....but I have to be ready with a back-up plan.

Hope you are all well and look forward to supporting you as we head along,

Cheers Em

Sam,

I could not stop laughing at what your hubby did. Bless him, I bet he was so scared to tell you. I would expect my hubby to do that as he is so accident prone and it would happen for sure. Mind you I wouldn't trust him with a needle. When he had to have his bloods taken, he was white as a ghost and when they handed him the viials of warm blood and asked him to write his name on them, he fainted...so there's no chance he's coming near me with a needle.

Hope all you other ladies are doing very well. I'm getting closer to start date now. I'm hoping it's either very early or very late as I have some appts at college in mid august (about next years study) which I would like to attend. I haven't told them anything about IVF.

Anyway off to do the ironing (in 30 degrees heat)..watching Brokeback Mountain...I must be mad but I need it doing as I will have no time this weekend and I am going to an outdoor concert on Sunday to see Ronan Keating. Hubby does not want to come but I have made him as I went to see Billy Joel with him the other week...now that was a great concert, highly recommended.

Hi ladies,

I've been a very naughty girl and i went against all my own principals.

I done a HPT this morning. I figured that if it came up -ive, as it's still 6 days to my official test date, i could say it was too early, and if it was +ive, then it would be a very very very nice shock.......

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the blue line came up dark blue before the test strip did....

I don't believe it, it was BFP!!!!!!

Both DH and i are still very much in shock.

Can i just ask that no-one puts a smiley face against my name till next Thurs 3rd, as i want to know my beta number first. I have problems with carrying so i don't want to tempt fate.

We arn't going to say anything to anyone else till we know for sure, but i was so excited i had to post.
I never thought this would happen!!!!!!!

So mum if your peaking on this site, NOT A WORD!!!

Good luck to all the other testers, i prayed for you all this morning......

Take Care
Hugs Rachel OXO

AF joined me yesterday and I went in for baseline today and all looks good! Start stimming and Menopur in the morning. Ugh, I didn't realize I would be taking more than one injection per day. How did I miss that  ?
Thinking of you all and hoping that it's going as expected. It is nearing and my excitement is up!

Rachel,

I am thinking only good thoughts. I imagine it is your turn.

Ice up the menupur, I thought it was the a hardest one. I think the meds sting a bit but you will get used to it. No worries, if I can do it anyone can

Lisa,

Very impressed you give yourself the shots. I Imagine your husband is going to have to brave the butt one otherwise you are quite flexable.

Best of luck

Sam

I FEEL SUCH A FOOL!!!!!!

Take back all i said about a BFP. I read the test wrong.
I had just shoved a test in my bag when i came away and didn't bring the instructions.

We went to CVS tonight to buy some more just to be sure and i noticed that i had read the test wrong and we didn't have a positive at all.

I had to laugh to stop myself from crying, but now it's sunk in i'm quite upset, infact we both are, we had got all excited and then had it taken away.

WELL THAT SERVES ME RIGHT FOR USING THOSE EVIL STICKS!!!!!!

We have now decided to wait till the 3rd Aug and not test ourselves again.

So i still need all your prayers and PMA as mine is a bit low at the moment.

Thank you all for your kind words of support, we feel better today and realise that it was too soon to test, so we still hold out hope for a BFP!!!!

Hi ladies.

Thought I would get the ball rolling for August. I started AF yesterday so I will start downregging tmrw and stimming for 10 days after. Hope all goes to plan this time. Last time embryos didn't make it to ET.

Lisa - Starts stimming 2nd Aug, EC 14th, ET 17th
Please add your name to the list.

Dory, been thinking about you. Those HPT's can be very confusing.
Hope you are pregnant and get to celebrate.
