hi Vita,
Good to know that you are doing great!

I did reply to your post in "first trimester june test date" thread but there was no reply. I have found a website where i met a lot of ladies with triplets and a seperate board for those who have to undergo SR, I feel very normal and supported there.

will drop by here to know how you gals are doing as and when possible.

For now take care and have plenty of rest.

Wish all the mommies to be a smooth and happy pregnancy!

Hello,

Can I join please?? I had my scan yesterday. Bit of an emotional wreck when I saw the heartbeat! I already have two girls aged 3 and 4 but after a horrfic birth I was sterlised (should I put that on here??) we are just so happy this has worked first time round.

I had two transferred on day 3. My first beta 16 days after transfer was 314 and the second at 20 days after was 1700. I'm not suffering with any sickness, I didn't with the other two either.

When I was pregnant before I think their heart beats were around 150+ most of the time and Emma's during labour was 188+ which I think was a tad of the destressed side!

Both my girls were born at 35 weeks. Because I'm diabetic they tend to be a little larger, Emma was 9lb 1oz and Jodie was 7lb 12oz. I was induced with Emma as she was getting so big, they said she would have been way over a stone (15lb) if I contined until the end. Jodie I went into labour earlyand had a c-section (fantastic and will definately be having another one this time). They were both in special care. With babies of 35 weeks they can go either way, suck or not, both mine didn't so were tube feed for a little bit until they learnt to suck.

Pre-term babies can be a little delayed with their development but they do catch up by their first birthday. They don't have their 6 week check until they were supposed to be 6 weeks (for me that was at 11 weeks). They may be slightly lazy in sitting, crawling and walking etc. Emma didn't walk until she was nearly two but Jodie was walking before her first birthday - think Emma was just plain lazy! There was only 54 weeks different between the two of them so at times it feels like I have twins! The first few months were very tiring but now they are fanstic, the best of friends.

Sorry I've gone on a bit but I read a few of you had a few concerns with pre-term babies and stuff. I hope my experience may help a little.

Good luck to everyone in their first trimester. We have our second scan in two weeks - I can't wait to see it's development.

Have a great weekend everyone

Jo

hihi! can i join you guys too? i'm jt.

i have a situation here and i hope some of you have some experiences to share.

hi girls,

i went for an vaginal ultrasound yesterday due to the small amount of blood from discharge. doc told me not to worry abt the small amount of blood. anyway, i'm at 6 weeks 1 day yesterday and all the md saw was the gestational sac and not the yolk sac. he assured me that he doesn't expect to see that this early. but by next thurs (another u/s) he hopes to see the yolk sac and hearbeat. girls, i have been sooo worried. all the info on the internet had pointed me to believe that i should have the yolk sac by week 6. but maybe cos' i'm only at the beginning of week 6? for those of you that already had the scan, how soon did you see the sac and heartbeat? i really need some real life stories. :o

thank you!

Jt,

Welcome to our thread. I think some people are different. My first scan was at 6 wk 3 days and I saw the yolk sac and heartbeat. Could you see your little embryo? I have heard of others that went too early and had to wait until the 2nd scan to see the heartbeat. If the doctor is not worried, try to relax.

Regards,
Tammy

Hi

I hope I can join in and ask a question.
I am almost 8 weeks pregnant and i had 2 ultrasounds already with everything being good and hearing the heart beat! My last one was this past Wednesday.
T oday when i would go to the bathroom and wipe there was alittle bit of brownish discharge then i went again and its now light pinkish blood not on my underwear just when i wipe. I am very nervous and dont know if i should make a big deal if its nothing because it is a sat. night.
Please if anyone has expeirenced this during there pregnancy I would like to hear about it to calm me down!

Thanks, JESS XXX :?

hi jess!!! good to see you here!!!

i have read that a lot of ladies here have that symptoms and is perfectly normal. but i think if it makes you feel better, you should call your clinic. my clinic is open 7 days a week. so i call them whenever there is a symptom i'm not sure about. hope that helps.

as to answer teachertam, when i went in yesterday at 6 weeks 1 day, the md only saw the gestational sac but not yolk sac or heartbeat yet....that's why i'm a bit worried.

Hi jt

I had a scan at 6 weeks, they could only see a sac and nothing else, I was even told the sac looked only 5 weeks and the baby could have stopped growing. Had to go back for another one a week later. That week was longer than the 2WW! On the next scan before the probe was even near where it needed to be you could see the little heartbeat. The sac, baby and everything else is where it should be and the right size for the dates.

Please don't worry, it's amazing what a week can do!

Best of luck

Jess, a lot of women experience spotting all the way through their pregnancies, some even have full periods. Unless it becomes really heavy and painful I wouldn't worry too much about it but if you are concerned ring your clinic for some reassurance. Best of luck to you too!

Hi jt

there was nothing, just a black blob on the screen which they told me was a sac of 5 weeks (not 6 like it should have been). I had an awful week thinking the baby had stopped growing but when we went back last week (at 7 weeks) the little heartbeat was beating away and the sac and baby were exactly 7 weeks!

When do you go back for your scan? Do you have any pregnancy symptoms, sore boobs, weeing a lot etc??

yup. that's exactly what i saw last friday. a big black blob.

as far as symptoms, i really haven't had much. breasts are not sore. maybe a bit swollen. lost of appetite, nausea here and there and increase amount of discharge. that's about all that i'm experiencing. just hope the beanie is still thriving...

Hello Ladies,

To all the new ladies joinging this thread a big Image I hope the rest of your pregnancies will be uneventful and smooth.

Jo~~ Im so glad they were able to find your babies heartbeat and the yolk sac! Wait till your third scan the little beanie will be moving around!

Jt~~Dont worry sweety you will get the same results like Jo. Just keep your faith in your little beanie and keep praying really hard! The prayer is amazing and it can have miraculous events to occur. Dont worry about not having too many symptoms... I hardly have any and im pregnant with triplets.

Jess~~ So glad the discharge has stopped! I posted a reply on another thread and thought i would share with you here as well that unless the color is bright red and continous discharge with cramping its probably old blood making its way out. My doc always says anytimeyou see discharge just take it easy for a day or two.

Kareen~~~ How are you sweets? I hope to join you at the 2nd tri in a few more weeks... i hope you are doing well.. i havent heard from you for a while i hope your beanies are doing well !

As for me and my beanies we are doing well so far, i have been having nightmares all night long that their heartbeats had stopped. I dont know if its the progesterone still having this effect or is it my subconcious thoughts amd fears.

I wanted to ask you all a question and see if i can get some help. One of my husbands sisters has been trying to conceive a few years more then me and she is very mean to all those that get pregnant...she never wishes well to those who do...She had harrased me throughout all my other procedures, so this time around i refrained from telling anyone that i was going to have IVF, and it worked and i got pregnant with triplets! I have noticed my bellly starting to push its way out and so i know very soon i am going to tell her... I am just so scared of her comments only because i have seen the evil things she wishes for those who do get pregnant.. How do i break it down to her???

What do you think of not telling anyone i am pregnant with multiples until the date of birth just to surprise everyone a bit more!
With Gods Blessings BFP!

hello all
great to see all the new mum's-to-be joining!!! I have been fine but just exhausted and nauseous all the time- unable to concentrate at work or do anything at home!!! Oh well!!!! WE are starting to tell people as otherwise I am worried they will all think I am a sulky, useless creature!

anyway, JT I just wanted to add what the others have said, I saw no yolk sac at 6 weeks but did quite clearly at 8 weeks so good luck ,fingers crossed and don't worry (yeah I know that is easy!!!)

great to read about the rest of you and amazed you are there with triplets vita!!! Vita, I was sad to read about your sis-in-law and did sort of recognise some of my own sentiments before!!!! I remember finding it so hard to hear about people becoming pregnant but it never bothered me if I knew they had had difficulties- like IVF and so hopefully it might not affect her sooooooo much! But I would just leave the multiple bit out for now. I would wait until past the anomaly scan around 20 weeks. I am amazed at how much my body has changed and somewhat disturbed that it is mainly because my gut is so distended!!!!! So I can relate to your tummy showing............ I am wearing dresses and skirts and am sure the whole world has guessed!!!!

lots of love to everyone
keep well

Hi everyone, Hi vita how are you going to hide triplets for nine months lol. i dont think you will lol. i think you should tell her. i think she might be happy for you cause you have been trying for a baby for so long like her. i no we should all be happy for our friends who get pregnant before us, but it does hurt especially when you see bad parents having more, who cant be good to the ones they have got. your different you desreve a baby. for what we have had to go through you deserve three and a trophy at the end we all do. i had the same problem my friend has tried ivf 6 times for nearly 10 years and given up. she told me not to pin all my hopes up on my first go. then i found out i am having twins. it was very hard to tell her.im sure you will find the right words. if she cant be happy for you, well......maybe i wont say but i think you no. bugger her the spitful cow  sorry but thats not nice wishing bad things like that.
THOSE BABIES ARE THE MOST IMPORTANT THING NOW, NOBODY ELSE :D :D :D
