Hi Racquel,

I'm glad the bleeding has stopped and you are only down to one shot a day! So happy you can now go for a shower everyday!! lol

I hope things start to calm down a bit and you can start to enjoy being pregnant!

You are allowed to be big, you've got two in there!! I look like I should have about 6!! At least I'm going to get my money's worth with the maternity clothes!

Take care of yourself

Jo

Hi everyone, Glad to see everyone is doing ok. raquel glad to see your out of the woods, i told you everything would settle, it just takes time. the next few weeks should start to get easier now. My sickness started to settle about 11 weeks. no matter what i tried to do with myself i looked and felt terible. I didnt enjoy the 1st trimester at all. well im in my 2 trimester now but too settled here to move over yet, im just getting to no you all. Things are alot better once you get to 11 weeks, i started to feel normal again. less sickness less tiredness less aches and pains. i dont want to speak too soon but things are looking up.

I go for my scan tomorrow, it seems like ive waited forever and a day. Im looking forward to seeing them again. i hope they are both ok. After this scan tomorrow, i will feel relaxed, just hoping everythings ok. once i get the news tomorrow im going to go mad and buy some things. well ive already bought some (alot) . but i wont feel nervous about picking things up and buying. glad everyone is doing fine. i love all the pics on photo bucket. :D

WOW you ladies on the photobucket look so wonderful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How fantastic that is..... I still dont have a single belly picture, i guess when i look down and see how big i have gotten its scares the day lights out of me. I feel like im big! But i guess thats what happens when you have triplets snuggling inside....

Hayley~~ I want to wish you luck for tomorrows scan i hope you enjoy your beanies!!!!!>... Tell me i want to know what you have bought! i want to buy some stuff but my mom keeps on telling me not too, i dont know who to listen too, her or my mind!!!!

Jo & Gail ~~ you look great !! nice bumps!

Racquel~~ Gosh i hope you get off the bedrest soon and start to feel better. hopefully by next week the nausea will soon be gone, i know for me it was totally gone last week..

Kareen~~ Hey sweets how are you?? You look great too by the way! I completely agree with you on the hunger part, i remember the first 2 month i ate nothing, i felt like crap most of the time, but my gosh these last few weeks have been disastrous, i had gained 9pounds by 13 weeks!!! which some say is not alot for triplets but i figured i put on the 9 pounds in just a few weeks.. Sleep for me is also disastrous, i havent been able to sleep for 2 months now, even turning around is a big deal! How strange to think what is to come in the 2,3rd trimesters is scary !!

i have my first trimester screening on thursday and im so scared, its weird how before each exam we always worry i guess its the normal thing to do!

Hope to see you all soon!!! Goodluck everyone!
With Gods Blessings BFP!

Hayley: Good luck on your scan tomorrow.

Racquel: Glad to hear that you are able to do limited activities.

Rileydee: What wonderful news! Seeing the heartbeat is wonderful.

Susan: Hope your resting period is going well.

Vita: Don't worry about the 1st Trimester screening. I got my results today. I have a 1:820 risk of having a baby with downs syndrome and a 1:8100 risk of having a baby with trisomy 18. We are thrilled.

We had a little bit of a scare today. I started spotting, brown blood. I freaked out!!!!!! I called my RE and he told me to come in for a check-up. Everything was fine!!! Thank God!! I could see the spinal column on my baby's ultrasound today. He/she is getting so big, it is amazing.

Take care all,
Tammy

Hi Everyone,

So glad to see everybody is doing good. Its been a few weeks since I have been on here just so busy lately.

I have a question for you ladies.
I am just 11 weeks today and i went to the Dr. and she checked to hear the heart beat from the top of my belly with the little machine and couldnt find it. So my question is Has anybody went through this? Could it just be too soon for that machine to hear the heart beat?
She scheduled me for tomorrow for a ultrasound but, it's driving me crazy tonight not knowing.
Im trying to stay positive saying its just to early and thats why she couldnt find it. I told her it has to be okay because if not i dont know what the heck is growing in my belly because something is making it very big. lol Well I hope to hear some of your stories and input.

Take care! JESS XXX

Hi Jess,

Just want to reassure you and let you know that it is very difficult to pick up the heartbeat even with the doppler at 11 weeks. At 14 weeks my OB could not pick up the heartbeat with a doppler and even last week at 22 weeks, he could not catch it for long enough to get a reading - bubs was wriggling. I have only heard the heartbeat once - at 18 weeks, but I have a scan every 4 weeks so know that everything is fine - as you will be too.

On same topic, I was going to buy a doppler but OB convinced me not to, telling me that I would just get too stressed when I could not find the heartbeat which he said would happen a lot.

Hope that helps,

Libby x

Hi everyone.
I had my scan today :D it was brilliant :D i cant believe the change from 8 weeks to 14 weeks. my last scan they were just a blob. today they were kicking punching jumping, they wouldnt keep still. i cant believe they look like little babies  :D They are both fine and measuring the right size. one of them was being really naughty and wouldnt keep still at all. she mesured the naughtyone but couldnt measure its head probaly cause it was jumping up and down. so i go back in three weeks for another one. she asured me they were both fine.
I no things can still happen, but im not thinking about that no more. they were deffinitly alive and kickin'. god i feel like i love them loads more today, its really wierd but i do feel like i felt a strong bond today. dh said the same thing. I bought loads of things. all my friend bough thing soon as they had their 12 scan and asured me it was fine. i got loads of vests, p.j.s socks hats mittens blankets. ooops i dont feel guilty though :D

hope everyone is ok

Hayley that's excellent news, I'm so glad they are doing well and as they should be. I see they are showing their own personalities already!

I've got my pram already! Yes I know it's really early but I was really fussy about what I wanted. The one I like in Mothercare is over £450 and I saw one the same (different but better colour) on Ebay for £150. I couldn't not get it. It arrived today and I'm so pleased with it. It looks new! Dh is going to put it in the loft so it's out of sight/mind so to speak. We also have a crib on the way too. Someone who works with dh was selling one, again another bargin I couldn't miss! We said we were going to get everything new this time as we can afford to now (we couldn't with the other two) but I begrudge spending so much on something they aren't in for very long. We will get a new mattress. Going to stop now until I know what it is then I can colour code!!

Hope everyone else is ok.

Take care

Jo

Well im afraid ive been telling a few porkys    . i have acctually been buying things for ages. ive bought that many vests for the twins i dont need any more  I need more newborn and tiny baby but ive got 60 0-3 months vests. I didnt want to say anything cause i thought you would all shake your heads and tut. i bough all my bedding, the only reason was i seen it in a book and loved it. It was going to cost about £600 FOR EVERYTHING for twins but i would of saved up and got it. i went into babies r us and got the lot half price  . How could you miss that. the whole lot cost £360. couldnt afford to miss it. its at my mums house i darent bring it in. i got blankets, quilts, sheets, bumpers, curtains, tie backs, mobiles, teddys, drapes, fleace blankets. you name it i got it 2 of everything to match oh and a lovely border.my mum said she would buy my pram for me. she said she will orer it when she comes back from hoilday. i will be nesrly five months. then i will pick it up from the shop when im due. its exiting isnt it. im going to try not to worry no more though i will deffinitly feel compy at 16 weeks not long to go.

Hayley you were making me laugh! I've been looking on line for ages, even during the 2 ww at prams etc. You need to be sure what you want, it's a large outlay not to like it. I only haven't got the cot because I was outbid! lol Anyway all this time we have "relaxing" it's only right to go shopping on line - would be rude not to! I'm not going to mention all the nice maternity clothes I've bought!

When I was pregnant with Emma I think I had her whole waldrobe for the first three months by the time I was 8 weeks pregnant! It never even crossed my mind that something bad would happen.

OMG 60 vests!! I definately agree you don't need anymore. You will end up with your favorites and just keep washing them and sticking it back on! You will feel so good that you have mostly everything you need already. Don't go packing your bag yet though as it may get a few moth balls between now and February! lol

Can't wait to see the scan pictures. I've got my nuchal fold scan next Friday so am looking forward to seeing some arms and legs!
