Hayley,

That is wonderful news!! It is amazing how fast they grow.

Jo,

What is a pram? Good luck on your nuchal fold screen. It was neat. I got to see lots of my baby, since he/she was not cooperating. The sonographer wants the baby to lie flat on the back and mine was curled up.

Take care all,
Tammy

Hi Tammy,

I think you call them a stroller??? I wanted one which is a bed for the baby, that lies down and then when they are big enough you take the bed bit out and it's a seat for them. I also wanted non-swivel wheels and wheels that you can pump up. The suspension on mine is great I keep pushing it round the kitchen as dh didn't have time to put it in the loft tonight. It's so exciting!!

Jo:
Thanks for the info. I do not have a pram (stroller) yet. Yours sounds wonderful. However, I do have a baby bed and dresser. I had the baby's room all painted in anticipation of our adoption of a baby girl from China. Now we will have to get a double pram! We are still going to adopt from China, though it will not be until late next year. Luckily I painted the room green and not pink, since I'm just sure I'm going to have a boy.

Regards,
Tammy

Hi everyone

Hayley and Karen your scans are lovely. :D

Im so glad that everyone else seems to be buying lots of things, I havent bought anything for baby yet but will definitely start after 12 week scan. I have been buying quite a few maternity clothes, I will have to start avoiding the shops soon

Jo you are going to be so organised, I can just imagine you in your kitchen with a big smile on your face pushing your pram around :D

Hello,

Hope you are all good. Hayley there's a programme on Discovery Health called Multiple Mum's, don't know if you've seen it but they have loads of tips on there for twins!

I'm good. Went to Mothercare yesterday but I was good and only bought a huge elephant with crinkle ears and a really soft fluffy body! I've decided I will wait until I know what it is, not that long to go now really considering what we've already been through.

My next scan is on 26 October. No, I'm lying I've got the nuchal fold next week but the scan which will tell me (if they can see) the sex is in October. Emma starts school the second week of September and Jodie (3 year old) is going into Great Ormond Street to be operated on her reflux on 14 September so I think September is going to fly by!

The op is really starting to worry me now. It's only keyhole surgery but it's still 5 insicions of an inch each, she will be on liquid foods for a while and will never be able to be sick again or burb - no binge drinking for her when she's older. She will also suffer if she gets morning sickness as she won't be able to! We should be in for 5 days, then rest for 2 weeks then she starts pre-school.

The girls are going to nanny and grandad's tomorrow for the night and dh is taking me to London to see Mama Mia at the theatre. I can't wait, will be nice to take my mind off everything!

Hope everyone has a fantastic weekend, the sun has got it's hat on today and hopefully will have all weekend! :D

Take care

Jo

Hello everyone. Hope I can join you here. I finally got my long awaited BFP after trying for so long. :D I'm 9 weeks pregnant with twins. My next US with my RE is not until Monday. I was supposed to have my US done las Wed. but would you believe when DH & I got there the receptionist goes, "I'm sorry you can't get it done today coz we have no sonographer!" I was so upset imagine we drove 45 min to get there and DH had to take off work. When I asked how come they didn't call us, all she could say was "Sorry".

Anyways, Congratulations to all of you and I'm hoping to get to know you all!
