Lavender - Countdown (Due 14.8.06)

Hi everyone

Our beautiful baby boy Alfie arrived at 2.28am on 17th August. After an action packed but quick (about 4 hrs) labour, he's here safe and sound...Forceps delivery; Episiotomy for me; Clamp on his head to monitor heart beat, then bloods also taken while he was still inside - war wounds to prove it! Cord was wrapped around his neck 3 times. Bit hairy but none of that matters now. He is absolutely lovely and very laid back (so far!) Weighed 5lb 14oz but has put on nearly a pound during his first two weeks already!! Thank you so much everybody for all your support along the way - especially those oldest buddies of mine...you know who you are! Finding time to post is not quite as easy as it once was but I'll pop in again soon.
