Anna,

Just wanted to say I didn't have any symptoms either. People kept telling me I should feel sick and exhausted but I felt fit as a fiddle. In fact, I was struggling with lifestyle changes (no wine!!) as I just didn't feel any different. The 12 week scan though will reassure you and will knock you off your feet!!!!!
But I agree - worrying doesn't help so go ask for help if you get too stressed. My local hospital also has an early pregnancy unit (although I didn't attend) - maybe worth seeing if yours does too?

It's so cool to see you over this side!!!!! Makes me smile!!

Hi Anna, how you feeling today?

Well I phoned NHS Direct and they told me to see my doctor immediately, so I saw him. He got the blood results from my hospital visit last week and he says I'm really not very weel. I have arthritis. He said 20% of people with Crohns Disease get it but unfortunately because I have it while I'm pregnant then I can't take anything for it, I'm being referred to the specialist (can't remember the name). All I can take is paracetamol, up to 8 a day but I don't really like taking anything when I'm pregnant, also I can't take it for the next 6 months!

At least I know I'm not imaganing it and I know what it is but it hurts like crazy!

Hope the rest of you are ok.

Ladies, thanks for your replies. Am feeling better today, much more positive. Dp keeps telling me to be thankful I have no symptoms making me feel rotten. :) I will try and remain full of PMA

Jo, sorry to see you are not well. Hopefully the symptoms will ease soon.

Cla, reassurring for me to see someone else who was the same! Ta. I totally agree with the difficulty with no alcohol. Really didn't think I'd miss it that much!!!

Hugs to other ladies here
Take care

Jo-You poor thing!!! I'm so sorry you going through all you are. After hearing about everything you have to deal with, I am going to not complain anymore. I hope you get some relief soon.

I had my 9 wk yesterday. I got to see my little beanie wigglin around. It was soooooo awsome!!! HB was 174!!! Dr. said that was ok though. Sounded fast to me. I haven't had my symptoms either. I just get a bit nauseas sometimes, but nothing bad. My clinic release me to my obgyn yesterday. Except my OB just rejoined the military and is leaving. I finally get pregnant and he is leaving. Ahhhh!! I like him, I don't want him to leave. Oh well. I get to go meet my new one monday. Hope you are all well.

Rachel, I'm so sorry to hear your news. (((Sending you virtual hugs)))

Jo - you are amazing -- dealing with 2 little ones, Crohns, diabetes AND now arthritis (let alone the aches and pains of pregnancy)! Hang in there I wish you all the best! You seem to be handling it very well - you're welcome to vent, moan, complain whatever to me any time!

Things are getting better for me - off bedrest but still limited activity (no walking beyond to/from car). But the subchorionic hemorrage is resolving itself and I get to see the babes on ultrasound every 2 weeks, it's great!

Take care everyone, Racquel

Thank you all for your kind words.

Racquel I'm glad things are getting better, soon you will be able to really enjoy your pregnancy! It's nice to see them on a scan every few weeks, I get that a little later on due to the diabetes. At the moment I have to wait until the 26 October for my next scan but there's no rush, I can wait!

Riley did you get lots of pictures? Our scan at 12 weeks was amazing, it's so reassuring. And if you need to moan you moan, that's what we are all here for, the good times and the miserable ones!

I've been feeling the baby moving for about 3 weeks now, just bubbles but yesterday I really felt a kick and it felt like a somersault!

My mother-in-law has got the girls tonight and DH is working all night so I may be able to get a little sleep, I tend to fall asleep around 5.30 but then have to get up with the girls so a lie in is going to be nice!

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend.

Jo- I did get lots of pictures. The clinic gave them to me with a card signed by everyone there. The card had a u/s picture that said brought to you by.... and the clinics name. It was really nice. They told us part of payment was bringing the baby in to show everyone, or else they do reposess. ha ha. It is so reassuring to see the baby doing well. I slowing beginning to enjoy and relax. I hope you will get some good rest and have a great weekend.
Hey to everyone else and hope you are all well.

Hello ladies:

I haven't felt like posting this past few days, since I had a touch of the stomach flu. I'm feeling better now, but am still having headaches.

I hope everyone else is doing ok.

Take care all,
Tammy
