Hi lovely ladies...

You are the first know about this.

ER yesterday went good. Dr took out 14 eggs. Embryologyst said all egg looked good.
I went to clinic to drop my passpor and check today. Dr and embryologyst said none of the eggs fertilized. In morning they did ICSI, 1 day late. They said we can see tomorrow. Hope they will fertilized. DR said they didn't know why it was happened. May be genetic.

I think you know how i am feeling. I cried all the way, trying to find rental. I don't know how to tell my family now.
Only God can help me. I really need His hand to help me. Pray for me please...

Thank you so much... Im so blessed to be here. God bless u in everything you do.

Luv, Jemma

Jemima, Cheer up Image Don't worry, they are doing ICSI so there is still a good chance. I'm sending you good vibes! Image

Well I went to my FET consultation yesterday. When AF starts I'll go on BCP, a few days after that I get Lupron shots (new med for me), then PIO shots. After ET I'll start estrogen pills and patches. That's it. Should be be pretty easy. I'm very happy I won't have so many hormones this time.

My step sis told me today that she and her BF are having unprotected sex and if she get PG great, if not that's fine, what ever happens, happens. Image
Just a little history, She's 36 and has had endo. for over 10 years and had been on BCP for years to keep it under control. She stopped BCP a year ago and has been off the pill since. Just recently her AF started again. She had a BF last year that she really wanted to marry and have a baby with but that did not work out. He got cold feet right after proposing. About 6 months ago she started seeing a guy that she has actually known since high school. Anyway they are very happy together and they are having unprotected sex and would be fine with getting PG. They have a long distance relationship, but hope to be living together next year. I asked her if she is trying to get PG and she said she's "not, not trying to get PG". So basically she's trying to get PG, except she also has fertility issues so may not get PG so easily. She's wanted a baby for so long but has never had the right relationship. I'd be happy for her if she gets PG because that's what she wants, but If she gets PG right away, I'm not sure how I'll feel about that if it takes me many more tries at IVF. Now I feel like I'm in a race. She has been the overachieving child in the family. Sometimes I feel less than average next to her. I feel like she's competing with me to get PG first. Which is really probably not true. Ughh. I don't want to feel like I'm in a race! My feelings are so mixed. Image

Hi all

Just to let you know that I am waiting for a phone call from the clinic but it is likely that I have got to go in for a scan today. I have been really bloated since EC and for the last 2 days have been having pains around the bottom of my ribs. Last night it was so bad that it woke me up. All of their nurses are in theatre at the moment but the receptionist said to get myself ready to go in when they call.

I will post later and let you know how I get on.

Well I have just got back from the clinic with the diagnosis of moderate OHSS. There is alot of fluid around my ovaries but also alot around my liver. The doctor wants me to rest, but not lie down, drink loads of water and not to work for a few days to see how I get on. Anyway while I was there I asked for my beta result. It was 766 and that was 17dp2dt. Does anyone know if this is a high number. I have been trying to find out on the internet as I would be interested in knowing if it is likely to be twins. They didn't look for the embrios on the screen today as apparently they would be too small yet to make anything out so I have got to wait until October 17th to see them.

Well I am off now to get some rest, sat upright in a chair.

Take to you all later

Good morning ladies..

Aunty we are all thinking of you and I just know the scan is going to go so well... We wil all paiently (yes go ahead and laugh I said paiently) be waiting  to here all your good news.. hugs and prayers are with you..

Jemma
Oh honey I am sure you are very worried but I am sure with the icsi the eggies will fertliize beautifully.. How are you feeling other than your nerves honey. You did great on your eggie count and I am sure with nice strong eggies they will be pulling DH's little swimmers in :D

Emma
Thinking of you honey and I we are all praying the EC went beautifully :D

Paula
Hello honey we just want you to know that we are thinking of you honey and you and DH are in our thoughts and prayers :D

Tony
It is so nice to see you still around.. How is your lovely DW doing? Did the doc say they could give you the med to bring on her period. That is what they were going to do for me? I think the name of it is provera...Well its great to have you here and how exciting you guys are going to go again. We will be here with you every step of the way :D

Hopeful
We all know how you feel.. You are torn between wanting your sis to have the beautiful chance to be a mom but maybe just not before you.. That is normal honey. I know for me I kept thinking if my new SIL gets preggers first I will have a cow.. DH thought I was crazy.. Here is thing your FET is going to go well.I have heard from Ghost that for tons of ladies the FET is so much better because its a more normal cycle and not as many crazy drugs and hormornes.. Maybe you ladies will be preggers at the same time. That would be so nice..Take care honey and dont beat yourself up your feelings are very very very normal :D

Anglea
Please keep us posted.. Like Zirly said pain and twinges and pulling are normal.. I even again asked my doc since I have had twinges (thats what I call them) and pulling cramps all over the place and the doc said thats just part of the proccess..I am sure the scan will help to put your heart and mind at ease..Keep us posted :D

love and hugs to all

Hi Angela

Hope you're doing ok. Drinking loads is the key but that in itself can make you really uncomfortable. Make the most of being told to take it easy.

My number was around the 720's at 16 post transfer so going by mine it sounds like a singleton to me but when people have compared numbers in the past nothing ever adds up!

I hope you are feeling better soon.

Aunty I hope the scan goes well for you today. You are doing a fantastic job with all your ladies on here, your posts always make me smile.

Best of luck to the rest of you where ever you are in your treatment. You are in good hands on this thread!

Take care

Jo

Hiya ladies!

Well egg collection went well yeterday, and i was discharged yesterday (for good behaviour) they got 36, yes 36 eggs!!

However came home yesterday and then started to feel unwell was admitted back to the hospital as i could not breath at around 9pm, i was at the hospital until gone 2am having chest xrays, bloods etc and they all came back fine, however was told to go home and rest!, feel fine now - but i have been in bed all day!

I phoned the clinic this morning and they told me that 20 of my eggs had fertilised, but they are freezing them all due to my high hormone levels.

I can go back in a few months and have FET.

Well at least the hard it is over!!

Hope everyone is fine!

Love Emma x

Good afternoon Lady's..and gent's....

what a mixed day reading up on you all was such a mix of emotions ...

Image Tony you and your DW have never left our thoughts and prayers i am so pleased your moving forward if slowly and its good to read you have a plan for follow up i think AF will help a little (in a small way) to get some amount of closure for you both... not that im saying you ever have to forget your lost one but heal enough to cope with the loss and hand on heart i hope you get the blessing you both deserve so much with so many prayers God has to listen...hugs..i am going to put you on our list if you dont mind i know so many want to read how your doing

Image Emma wow 36 eggs is huge no wonder your feeling ill, i got so worried to read your OHSS and so pleased you didnt wait on it ...20 little ones in waiting is fantastic and i got so upset for you when i read about the full freeze i can imagine what a mixed blessing that is and your right now you have some frosties and the ride will be a lot easier both on your mind and body for your FET i just know in my heart in a few months we will be reading your BFP i am so sorry your journey has been so long for you but your bundle will so be worth it in the end..

Image
Jo its so sweet of you to pop over here with your help and advice its really touching when we read a success story and your doing so well too...hugs for your bump

Image Jemma what can i say my heart goes out to you thats such an unusual thing to happen im so sorry lets all pray that your little ones just needed a nudge and they are right now doing there doubling i know i will be wating for you to post to read how many you have....big hugs

Image Mia i am so excited for your FET thats great news and it will be so much better for your body i love FET they are very promising and read so many BFP'S from it... as for your sis i can imagine what your feeling i have a cousin who NEVER wanted children ever until she heard we started our IVF and stopped the pill got pregnant right away with a guy shed known a month and told me id be needed to take care of her baby while i "waited to see if it was going to happen for me and if not well you can always be god mother" havent seen her for a while i heard she and baby moved back to her moms... we have every right to be mad at these women but dont take up her challenge leave her on her own competing with herself that will drive her nuts if you dont care ....your on a whole different journey to her shes not in your league at all....

Image Jackie i hope you and Nugget are doing well sending my love

as for me im still waiting for my clinic to call i didnt have a scan today (im happy about that AF is really heavy i thought it might look like my leg fell off when i got up...LOL).

love to you all...big hugs Aunty

Good evening all

Aunty - It is good to see you on your way. I hope that the next 12 days passes smothely for you and I am looking forward to giving back some of the support you have given me over the last few weeks

Tony - I am pleased to hear that you are DW are still well. I really hope that you are sucessful soon.

Emma- Wow 36 eggs. I bet you felt right like a battery hen. I am sorry you have had to go for a full freeze but at least you have lots of eggs to fall back on and you won't have to go through stims with all their problems again.

Jemma - Sorry to hear that things are not going as planned. I really hope that the ICSI works for you, it did for me.

Jo - thank you for your advise. I have been trying to drink loads of water. The worst part of the pain is in my chest because that is where the most amount of the fluid is accumulated. Drinking lots seems to make the pain worse, although I know I need to do it to get better. Does anyone know how long OHSS lasts for.

Nimble & Ange - Not long now. I can't wait to see your BFP's

hopefull - Good luck with FET. I know just what you mean about your sister. Life is really hard at times. This board is brilliant at these difficult times to help us through.

Take care
Angela

Hi aunty - i really hope you get the news you want from your clinic and you start you start egg food today. It is fantastic that you are nearly there, see that you may have EC in 12 days time. You have been an angel Image to us all and I hope that we can be just as supportive to you as you have been to us. No matter what my results be on Monday, I will be here for you.

I'm so excited for you!

Jemima - I'm sorry to hear about your eggs but I have every faith that the ICSI will work for you and you'll soon be on your 2ww with us.

Angela - hope you're feeling ok - hopefully taking some rest will be easier now that you have told work. Put those feet up and relax!!

Emma - thats unbelievable - all those eggs. It must be disappointing however you know that you'll all of those little babies waiting for you when you're good and ready... :)

Ang - how are you coping with the wait? Not long for us to go now....those HPT are still tempting me but still resisting hard.

love and hugs
