Hi,
Congratulations. I know this is a very exciting time.
I just carried on as normal when i was pregnant. I worked in a frozen food store and done all my normal duties, i lifted boxes, bent over freezers to restock them, climbed on top of them to fill the shelves, stood at the checkout for hours on end (well, in between running to the loo to throw up or pee, some of the symptoms i don't miss

).
But it got a bit harder as my belly got bigger and was in the way but i just done what i could and carried on working until 3 weeks before my due date. I felt carrying on as normal was the best thing for me.
Working and doing my normal duties certainly didn't do any harm, Kady was a very healthy weight when born and is now a 6 1/2 month old cheeky wee monkey
The only advice i can give is just do what you feel is best for you, you will know how you feel about things better than anyone.
If you feel you want to stay home, then stay home. If you want to work, then work.
Good luck with whatever you decide.
Take care,
Lotsa love
Michelle
