Good morning ladies!
Oh, it's been such a long time I've been here and I've missed you so much! DH and I travelled with our cat and our dog and a ton of gifts to Quebec city (felt like we were moving... and we still don't have babies yet!) and have been here for three days now. I did not really have access to the computer before now. Everybody is still sound asleep... except my dog of course! I took her for a walk, fed her and the cat, and then sneaked into the office to get here before my sisters or brother kidnap the computer!
Charlie: Welcome sweetie!

You live in a WONDERFUL country that I miss very, very much! I can't wait to go there again one of the next times we visit my in-laws (DH is French; in-laws live in Le Mans). You'll see that the lovely ladies here will be there to help you through the rough moments and share your joy during the happy ones! Don't hesitate to give us news as often as you wish! As for my cycle, I'll be almost on the same timing as you. I MIGHT have an ER on Jan 25th. We'll probably do the 2ww together! What meds will you be taking?
Ange: Oh, how true... the circle of life... as a new life comes on this plane, another leaves for another plane... I'm sorry to hear about your uncle passing away. Were you and him close? Xmas will surely be strange without your father, especially knowing that he will be grieving. You have all my sympathy. And well, as for the symptoms... careful what you wish for, dear! Wait until a couple of weeks after morning sickness comes in! Not sure you'll wish for symptoms that much after that!

But I know what you mean... for now, rely on those lovely test results! You'll feel pregnant soon enough my dear! *hugs*
Shantala: could not help but take a sneak peek at your wedding pics! You look LOVELY!
mom: tee hee hee... celebrating, are we? We'll try not to post too loud until you recover...
tc: wow, what crappy symptoms to feel right before the Xmas celebrations! Ew! And it's really too bad that it isolated you from your family on such a day! How are you feeling today?
Aunty: Hello there!

I'm not sure I completely agree with your opinion about stress. I have some knowledge in psycho-neuro-immunology. Anxiety and stress affect many hormones and neurotransmitters, cortisol being one hormone among many. Granted, stress itself cannot be pointed as the sole cause of cancer, for example (I inwardly roll my eyes each time a patient shows up in my office at the hospital and blames his/her relationship with his/her dad for his/her cancer! and of course that's all they want to talk about!). But it should still be recognized as an important contributing factor in some other health conditions. For example, I've read a fascinating study about the impact of stress on healing wound time. They made identical superficial wounds on the inside of the arms of subjects who were taking care of a very sick partner (chronic) and on a group who was not facing that kind of stress. The wounds of the chronically stressed group took 24% more time to heal than in the other group. And this is only one tiny example among many. Stress has an empirically supported impact on the immune system. Took a decade for doctors to accept it, but it's been recognized in the '80. So I do believe that stress is a contributing factor (though NOT the only one); it's the "it's because you want it too much" factor that's been proven wrong. My two cents!
babyblue: oh my, sorry to read that your DH was admitted in the hospital! a jaundice? Is he prone to that kind of thing? I hope he's feeling better, and I'm glad the docs there let him be home for Xmas! I wish him to get better soon!
Lisag:

And you've waited for so long! *jumps up and down* I'm very HAPPY for you sweetie, and I wish you a wonderful Xmas time with your loved ones, who now know as well from what you wrote; I hope they pamper you non stop for the next 8 months! And about these numbers... are you hoping for twins?
And I don't remember who asked... but I'll start Lupron on Jan 3rd.
Lots of love to the rest of you, big hugs, and a MERRY MERRY XMAS!
