Jogival congrats on that BFP - you did it honey!! Enjoy the next 8 months!!

Nicki honey thanks. Not holding out too much on this next one or any one to be honest - have a feeling like you, it'll be ivf that'll bring me luck but we'll see. By the way meant to say on phoenixes thread in answer to your question, Glsagow Nuffield buy in donor sperm specifically for ivf so would be able to freeze embies. That's why we're gonna keep going with DI using Luis Hughes donor sperm. Still thinking about whether we should 2 double insems then one single or one double then 3 singles. What do ya think??

6th DI Jan '07 ...... finally ..... OMG BFP!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nicki

I laughed when I read your post - I do daft things like that all the time

We did ICSI with my hubbys sperm on all 3 occasions but no luck - to be honest I didn't really like the clinic we were going to - felt very impersonal, like you were just a number, when I had my m/c I found them incredibly unsupportive  , I wanted to change but hubby felt it was "better the devil you know" - he has now come round to my way of thinking and hence why we changed clinics :D

It was a difficult decision to come to, to decide to use donor sperm - but I feel (at the minute anyway, I may change my mind!) neither emotionally or financially ready to try ICSI again - we've spent over £10k on treatment as had to pay over £2k for reversal for my hubby.

We've discussed this in detail and we both feel that if I am lucky enough to get pregnant it will not affect our relationship - the baby will be ours to bring up and love and cherish just the same as if it was biologically his.

I just wanna be lucky

Good luck with your treatment!

Lisa - I agree with Nicki - stay positive, sending lots of positive sticky baby dust your way!

DH has low count and motility issues due to vasectomy (which we had reversed) - he does have swimmers but they're lazy little buggers who need some help    , none frozen we used fresh each time with ICSI so now onto donor :D

How long till your appt re: IVF?
