mmc. I'm not sure exactly, but I believe "they" prefer you to have had at least three "normal" cycles after an
ICSI before trying again. At least, they do at Hammersmith Hospital, London - it may vary at other places.
However, you're more likely to be governed by when there's an appointment available - in our case it's about 8 or 9 months waiting before trying again. To be honest, if we were to try again now, then I don't think we'd be in the right frame of mind - as I'm sure others will agree, a failure really takes it out of you - so (for us, at least) it's probably better that there's a decent amount of time between. Having said that, I imagine that women may well have different feelings with the old "biological clock" ticking away.
So . . . in summary, 3 months minimum but this could vary. Oh and don't be put off by any possible negativity that you may have read in this post - I'm
NOT negative about it - quite the contrary! It's just that sometimes one hankers after an ideal world . . . .
