Fall 2007 Babies

I really love fall too. It alway feels good when fall starts, the weather is nice (summer is scorching here), trees change color, lots of fun holidays to anticipate and this year, beautiful babies are coming for us all!

I know, it's still so surreal for me too. I think once I see the baby on the US, it will feel much more real. I had my 2nd beta today. I'll have to remember to ask about my hcg count this time. I forgot to ask when i had my 1st beta because I was so excited.

Hi girls, I had my 2nd US on Monday (6wks, 1day) and there was only a gestational sac measuring 8mm. It's not looking good as there was nothing inside. He wanted me to come back a week from Wed for next u/s but said I was free to also come back on this Friday. The RE was encouraged by the growth in the gest sac, but I think he was just trying to say anything to give me a glimmer of hope. I'm trying hard to remain optimistic, but he said that 70% can usually see the yolk sac and fetal pole at this point. I'll keep praying for a miracle. If I don't see both a yolk sac and fetal pole on Friday, then my pg is probably over.

Lori, I know it will be good news Friday, from what you said the RE was optimistic about the growth...I will be praying for you... now get some rest for you and that little beanie!!!

i'm so sorry to hear that. You are in my prayers. there's still hope so please have some PMA. (((hugs)))

Tomorrow AM i have my first scan. I'm very anxious to see if we have 1 or 2. not sure if we will be able to see by tomorrow.
oh BTW my betas were, 15dpo=726 and 17dpo=1499. We think there is a good chance of twins.

My Dr. doesn't really say if my beta levels are high or not but today I forced them to take one on my day 18 because I was going nuts and it was 2790. Is that high? I'm not sure. Does it have a higher chance of multiples if it's a certain #? I think my Dr. avoids giving this info for some reason beacause they always just say "It's where it should be." I need more answers!

I am coming over to this side...Which I still do not believe. Its still so early I am being very careful. Its scary. I swear we try so hard and then it happens and its still scary.

I want to congratulate ALL of us for Fall babies.

Hope everyone is enjoying this time. We sure are.

We have our third beta tomorrow as our doc is very conservative. Which is good.

we saw them, there are 2!!

And they are developing very quicky. My RE was surprised and happy to see they both already have yolks. He says that they should have heartbeats within the next 48 hours. We are thrilled and estatic.

My official due date is October 13, but since they are twins, will probably be born a little earlier. I'm only 5'1", I'm going to look huge!

I still kind of feel that way. i feel beter today after finding out my little ones have yolks and should have heartbeats soon. My RE says that once they have heartbeats the risk of mc goes down to 7 or 8%. Hang in there. It's for reall, just have faith.

2790 is very strong for day 18, congrats! I don't think you have anything to worry about.

the #s for multiples and singles are all over the chart . high #s can mean a variety of things. check out betabase.info to see bata reports of real women.

Oh my...I am sooo very happy for you! That is fantastic news. You have to be flying right now. Twins after all this heart break you have had. Congrats!
Due date of 10-13-2007.WOW.....I cant believe they did an US already, they told me the week of the 19th for the US and I am due 10-14-2007. Crazy huh!

I will feel a little more at ease tomorrow after the final beta....I am always worried what could happen. I lost my last pregnancy at 19 weeks. My poor husband. I am a reck.

Congrats again. That is great news!!!

TWINS!!! Congratulations Mia!!!!! I have always wanted twins and just think you are the luckiest woman!!!! I'm not very tall either at 5'2" so no matter if it's one or three I'll be huge! You'll probably look adorable! I'm so happy for you!
