oooo Lady's we got the call.......it was our Dr today apprently he went and had a look at the embies himself he said he couldnt believe the difference in them from previous cycles
we had 11
we now have......
1 thats morphing into a blast right now
3 x8 cell 2 of which he said are perfect and predicts will become blasts
5x 7 cell that he said will proberbly become 8 they looked at them sooner today than yesterday
and the 2x2 cell ones are now both 4 cells he said they are slow and predicts they will stop growing but he promised me they would give them a chance to prove him wrong....

so we still have all 11 pushing through....

i cant tell you how happy i am...they will call tomorrow but we are going to do a blast transfer Sunday God willing

thank you all for your prayers...Aunty

Oh sassy im so happy...yeah they will call tomorrow but he said at that point all they will really only be able to tell us is that they made it through the night and how many blasts we have ...he said to try to be prepared that we could loose them all (i dont think anything could prepare me for that news)he said they kinda all look funny on day 4 so its hard to say what quality they are but we will get a count and a time for transfer....please send some more bribes to my babies...

love Aunty

AUNTY!!!!! :D I am just tickled pink to read your news!!!!! All 11, you go girl! Clearly you have one that is just so excited to be your baby, I predict that (she) will be a Doctor or Lawyer! Yes she, as we all know girls are way smarter and mature faster then boys! Come on you other 10 catch up to your sister, and I'll buy you season tickets to the Yankees!

Bec, good to read you! My eyes just about popped outta my head when I saw your ticker was at 6 months! Geez it seems like just yesterday that you got your BFP!!!!!! How's little one doing? Are you going to find out the sex? I'm just all kinds of happy for you!

I went to the store and saw the cutes baby clothes and maternity clothes today, I got this warm fuzzy feeling, and felt like I was floating, then I thought of all of our BFP's and the BFP's that are coming and I teared up.
I just adore all of you so much. Ok enuff mush. :D

Well I am off to steam clean my carpets, DH has spilled about 25 gallons of salt water this week and it's feeling a little stiff!

I haven't had a chance to look back through all the posts yet, will be able to do in a little bit.... but, just had to address the issue we have with Aunty's embryos.... "Now listen up, kids. Aunt Sassy just stocked up the candy drawer, and her bed is all ready to be mussed. I am just waiting for you to obey your mother (!) and keep on growin'. If you comply, you will qualify you for participation in 'Aunt Sassy's Special Sleepovers' (this includes all expense paid overnight at aunt sassy's including popcorn, movies, all the candy you can eat, and a romp in the pool... sugared cereal in the morning, then a whole day of sun and fun in the pool... will even let you swim after eating ). These events are totally vegetable-free. So, kids, how can you POSSIBLY pass that up???"

All right, Aunty. Bringin' out the big guns... hope they listen!!!

Good afternoon guys!

How are you doing? The board is as active as ever! It's so wonderful to see how present we are for each other! :D

Nothing new about me, except one very silly question. I've started to suffer the damages of Progesterone on my regularity (e.g., I'm constipated!) And, like many others here I'm sure, I asked myself a couple of rethorical questions while spending some alone time in a couple of different bathrooms across my day. Though I know that the answer is NO, I'd like to know why.

Have any of you guys asked a nurse or a doctor why it's impossible to expulse your embies while pushing? After all, so many women do have little "accidents" while pushing during labor. I told myself that babies get out then and not now because during labor, the cervix if fully dilated and it's obviously not the case now. But I wonder what other rationales you've heard guys.

Either way, I must have made quite a few funny faces while trying to push as embryo-friendly as possible yesterday! Whew! But at least I gained one notch on my belt: relief! ;)

Aunty: look how superbly things are turning for you this time! Awwww it's such amazing news! I'm very happy for you sweetie! 11 embies! And so many strong and promising ones at that! Do you plan to freeze? Looks like you'll have plenty of them to do so!

Shantala: hey girlie! How are you doing? I'm glad you liked your first acupuncture apt; I reacted the same way, more or less. The needles hurt more than I imagined (which was not at all!). I wasn't able to relax because I'm so tall and the table was uncomfortable for me, but since then, phew! Now I regularly fall asleep on his table! I suspect I even snore from time to time! And the bugger lets me sleep, lol, it made me late a couple of times! ;) I'm so happy that your husband is home! Yaaaay! It looks like he is doing much better indeed; it must be such a relief to be rid of most of the pain! He's very sweet about your cycle; you must be happy! You'll see, it's still a long process, and one that will bring you much closer. And now he has a couple of extra excuses to have you treat him like a prince so he produces good quality swimmers. Don't forget Aunty's advice: empty the pipes every three days till the trigger morning! (bet he'll be happy to hear about that! mine was!) And about my silence; I've only been away for one day, you know! ;) Just didn't feel like posting. Takes me about 45 minutes to 60 when I post, so... And my embies, you know how it is. They should have implanted by now, or implant today or tomorrow... no way to know how they're doing until the 18th! :D How are you reacting to the meds so far? Stable?

lara: I do hope you'll join us in the 2ww! Sending good warm waves to your embies right now! Transfer is coming! :)

hopeful: congratulations! Twins! That's amazing sweetie! Sure hope to be in the exact same situation soon! :) Awww... I'm looking forward to see scan pics in a little while!

tcbalgord: hey dear! Hope you had that nap indeed! You're very generous to prepare his lunch, and get up early to do it in addition!

Sorry about any others that I might have missed, but it's time for me to see my next patient. I'll see you around girls, and I wish you a lovely day and evening and weekend! :)

Take care!

WHOA ERIN!!!!! Here's an offical CONGRATS!!!! Lovely Beta and all! So happy for you sweetie!

Sophie, no I didn't get that nap but I am on way upstairs after this. I don't know why but just as I was about to fall asleep I remembered that I should clean the carpet! LOL Stupid girl, sleep should have came first!
You bring up an interesting question, and while I don't have an answer, I did ask my Dr. why we have those "little accidents" during delivery. She said it's because we use the same muscle to push the baby out and the fact that when they give that LOVELY epideral we can't tell when we have "to go." I myself was very embarassed when this happened to me, as my ex kept saying "ewww" and "why didn't you go before we left?" DICK! I would have to say though that yes it has something to do with your cervix being fully dialated, because, ok and forgive me for this, when we are naturally pregnant we can push has hard has we want when constipated and can rest easy knowing a baby won't come out. Is there any "baby safe" laxatives that can be taken? Just a thought as even those natural girls get constipated around the 7-9 month time.

Well I am off to lalala land before DH comes home and makes all kinds of noise.

Erin: Woooohoooo! That is fantastic! Congratulations... and a great beta!

Sophie: on a constipation note... in the past had the same problem w/progesterone... this time i ate 2 prunes every day while on the meds... and had no problems. A huge difference, and made my 2ww much more comfortable. Just an idea. Good luck!

Hello Ladies,
Congratulations Erin on your BFP! enjoy the next 9 months.
I'm so happy for you Aunty, 11 is great number hope you will get the call to bring back your little ones.
Sophie, about your constipation, I also had that side effect after ER AND ET, it is really hard to push, I was advised by the nurse to drink prune juice , Milk of Magnesia or bran cereal.
I did eat some Raisin bran cereal every morning and I was okay.
This is very funny Sophie, I also had the same thought, in regard pushing our little ones out during constipation but I don't think so, once they are in they get stuck believe me, I hope they will stay in for the next 9 months.

About myself, I'm doing fine, the 2ww is the most difficult time of the cycle. I hope the days goes by fast. :)
Hugs,

Nouna

sassy: thanks for replying! I know, I LOVE prunes and I'd LOVE to eat two per day (especially the dried black ones... gaaaahhhhh!) but I fear to irritate my sensive GI tract... (ah, IBS!) I'm already taking 2 teaspoons of Benefiber every morning plus 2 each evening (part of the IBS diet) but I got constipated all the same. I'll see how things go over the weekend and I'll give the dried prunes a try if things don't move... literally, LOL!

mmmmh... but then, there's that prune jam that's been around, unopened, for a while... *wicked grin* jam is cooked, and pureed... so it would not be so bad for my GI...

tcbalgord: NOT proud of you! Cleaning a carpet instead of taking some well-deserved rest! Shame, shame, shame! And about your doctor's explanation, my best friend who is a resident told me the same thing. It simply comes out because it's the same muscle, hence why some hospitals will offer you an enema or a laxative when you're in very early labor. She mentioned nothing about the epidural though; I think even if one tried, one wouldn't be able to hold one and push the other when you have to push so hard to get the baby out! I also read that, at some point during its progress, the baby's weight pushes on the rectum and also pushes "it" out as it moves forward...

And don't be embarassed dear; my friend assured me that they see that happen in 9 women out of 10! So they've seen that happen lots of times before you! They just push it in the "goo" bag at the end of your bed/table with a little stick and don't give it a second thought! ;) Your DH is silly! LOL give him a good kick in the guts AND the nuts, wait for 30 seconsd and then ask him if he feels like going to the loo! ;)

Anyway, thanks for replying and have a great nap-nap!
