Ok so I went to get blood work today and they couldnt get much blood at all! They said they were not too worried as my levels look good on the 2 previous betas. They still are sending it to the lab but dont think there is enough there. They sticked me 3 times. We did however schedule our US for Feb 20th. I will feel much better once that is done.

Mia- Congrats at twins! You are so blessed! I can't believe how far along they are already!

Kholtan, your beta # looks great.

Also congrats to Janine and Mynala.

As for me, I went in today for u/s (6k,5d) and there was a 2nd gest sac (not there on prior u/s) which was small, but it had a yolk sac and fetal pole!!! The other gest sac had stayed about the same size and was empty. So, I go back on Wed. and hope to see a heartbeat. I am praying this new little one hangs on.

Thank you ladies and Ghost! We are so thrilled to be having twins! Reality hit me last night that we'd have to get 2 of almost everything. Oh Ghost, speaking of college... OMG.. 2 college funds at the same time, yikes! So the fancy baby clothes and fancy furniture budget is pretty much nixed. That's OK though. Who needs fancy when you've got family! :)

oh Lori, that is wonderful news! you have a yolk! You will see a HB soon. I have to wait 1 to 1 1/2 wks before I will see mine. seems so far away. Once I see the HB i'll feel so much more secure.

skidoo, i feel for you. been there too many times. got stuck 5 times once :( and still had to drive accross town to their other clinic to get someone who could draw my blood. sorry you had to go through that. hope they got enough. either way I'm sure everything will work out fine.

Hi Everyone,

I would like to first say Congrats for all you BFP's! I am so happy for all of you. I was wondering if it would be possible for me to join this thread. I just found out today that I am, dare I say it, PREGNANT! My beta was 337 and I go back Sunday for more blood work. My EDD (according to the pregnancy calculator on this site) October 18th. I am so thrilled and dying to tell my son and step daughter but I want to make sure I am in the clear. Hope you dont mind me jumping in and I look forward to sharing this expirence with all of you.

Welcome Erin! We are all in the same boat here and it's always great to get one more perspective!

Just thinking, but wouldn't it be nice if some of us lived near one another and could actually have play dates one day? No one else I know here locally is Pg and I won't start looking into classes until later on down the road. I have friends with small children and some w/ babies but there is no one who could understand what we have been through and why behave the way we do more than an IVF friend. I'm in Idaho and haven't seen too many from here so far. It's just a thought!

HI EVERYONE!

SORRY FOR ALWAYS ASKING SO MANY QUESTIONS, BUT I'M NOT SURE BESIDES SKIDOO - WHO ELSE TESTED AROUND MY TIME,

SKIDOO WHAT WERE YOUR NUMBERS ON FRIDAY? MY CLINIC IS VERY CONCERNED NOW, AND THEY WANT ME BACK AGAIN MONDAY, BUT SHE WOULDN'T SAY WHY. THEY GAVE ME 3 NUMBERS, HCG, ESTROG, PROGEST. DID YOU WRITE YOURS DOWN, OR DID ANYONE ELSE REMEMBER WHAT THEIRS WERE, THERE MUST BE A PROBLEM WITH MY NUMBERS OR THEY WOULDN'T BE HAVING ME COME BACK SO SOON.

MY ER WAS JAN. 21, MY ET WAS JAN. 26TH, IF ANYONE ELSE REMEMBERS WHAT THEY HEARD FOR NUMBERS, PLEASE LET ME KNOW, THIS IS GOING TO BE A VERY LONG WEEKEND FOR ME, THANKS!

Mynala~
I wish I could help you more. I did my ER in the 18th and my ET on the 21st. All my Dr. told me was Beta levels. Day 8=60, day 10=261, and day 18= 2790. I didn't get any more info than that so I'm nor sure I've helped you at all. So sorry.

Just stay strong and think positive. I'm sure your Dr. is just being very careful. Easier said than done but try to relax and don't get upset. We're all here for you! Take care~

MYNALA (Tammy)...

I looked back at some of your other posts, and saw that your HCG was 31 on Monday, and I think you said it was 53.8 on Wednesday. I saw another post that you mentioned you were going to get results yesterday too. Did you get some new numbers yesterday? If you did, what were those?

If your numbers are doubling approximately every 72 hours, you're doing good. Numbers really can't be compared to cycle days against other women's numbers. I've seen them vary HUGE amounts for woman to woman, and pregnancy to pregnancy. The true test is that they double approx every 72 hours with you and this pregnancy. With your Monday being 31, and only 48 hours later it being up to 53.8, you're right on track...

Ah...Did you hear about Ophee...Her numbers were really bad at the beginning, and she ended up being pregnant with four babes. Through a few tough situations, she now is pg with twins, but that's why you can't necessarily rely solely on those numbers, nor can you compare them to others.

By the way, I'm over the moon for you!! Did you say you had some frosties, too? I think you did have a few! That's so great that you can have a couple siblings for your baby. I've read a lot of studies, and it's not the age of the mother that's relevant, but the age of the eggs, so you have plenty of time for a couple more babies, sweetie. How's your dh doing?? I know he was so looking forward to a baby...I bet he's on cloud 9, as I hope you will be soon, too...You might want to try another session of acu to help with the stress this time brings with it...You hang in there, and start talking to that embie telling him/her to snuggle in and make themself at home...Or could there be more than one!?!? There's a thought to ponder...

Thank you all for the warm welcome. It is great to finally be on this side. I am still in shock, but I am enjoying it! I went on Sunday for blood work and my numbers went from 337(12dp3dt) to 845 (14dp3dt)! They said that was great so I go back next Sunday and when they call with the results I will be getting the date for my ultrasound! So exciting!

Have not had many symtoms but I remember from my DS that I did not get morning sickness until about 6 weeks. My BB's are sore and I am more tired than ususal but other than that I feel good.

Hope you all are feeling well! Talk to you all soon!
