Thanks for all of your support but I think its game over for me today - when i wiped this morning was a bit of red on the loo roll mixed in with the pessery! And i gather that red blood is NOT good! Previous 2 bfns were brown at the start??? so this one is different. Will monitor it today and take it easy but I dont hold out much hope unless a miracle happens on test day!!
Again thanks for being there.
Bye for now.

Please don't give up hope yet. I woke up 2 days before test day and had cramps and pinky red in my panty liner, and when I wiped (sorry TMI ). I was CONVINCED it was all over so caved and did a test and hey presto, BFP!! I could not believe it! I called the clinic as I was worried and they said it was probably implantation. As soon as it was there, it was gone again and I am now 5 wks pregnant!
Good luck!

I have the symptoms as some of you, feel like af is coming and my breasts are really tender and sore, it is same feeling as before af comes.
I don't know, the nurse told me to keep on positive, she said the pain could be from Implantation.
I'm trying not to think about it much, but it is human nature, we can't.
I'm reading some of your comments about that, and I feel a bit relieved as most of you have the same symptoms as me, and some got a bfp with the same symptoms.
Nouna and Caz - stay positive!! Caz not sure wbout the red drizzle sorry but I say keep the PMA!!

I am totally gutted for you honey. Good on you though looking ahead. I always did that too. I've just completed my 5th cycle and never gave up.
If you can afford it financially and you know you can handle it mentally, then it is the right thing to do.
Really sorry babe.

Thanks Lisa - You have been a tremendous support to me - I remember you from yours and my previous cycles where we have supported each other - I would like to say how valuable support from the BFPs are as you are our inspiration to carry on.
I am going to keep trying and I am also going to research other clinics as the one i have been going to is an nhs unit and dont work at weekends therefore can never go with your natural cycle which is something i would like to explore - I think it might be a good idea to go to a completely private clinic anyway maybe someone who specialises with older women if there is such a thing??
Where did you go out of interest - you dont happen to know where Sharon Davies the Olympic swimmer went do you. She tried 8 times and got there in the end.

I had to go private on all of the cycles because hubby had vasectomy 15 years ago. NHS wouldn't fund us because I have officially nothing wrong with me. I always had fairly good FSH's given my age. I go to Manchester Fertility Services in Manchester. The guy that owns the unit there has the best reputation and qualifications in the north of england. He's on the HFEA board aswell I believe and has been on telly a few times.
Even though I had 5 cycles there, I always felt they treated me very well. I never felt another number. The nurses were great too. I became pregnant on my first cycle using long protocol and then went for 3 short cycles which to be honest were rubbish.
On my last treatment I decided to go on a little detox and had 2 lots of colonic hydrotherapy done to clear out all the old medication and to bring my FSH down which it did fantastically too. I was 5.3 on this last cycle which is low for my age. I was previously 7.6 which I know is ok too but the lower the better. I did the long protocol again. The embryologist said my embryos were top grade too, well above average and what a change that was from previous attempts.
I also drank minimum 3L of water a day and ate tuna most days for lunch in my 2ww and boiled eggs in my stimulation. This time I went by the book. No alcohol, No fizzy drinks, No caffeine.
I have a long way to go before I reach my goal yet. For me BFP is another step forward but by no means guarantees a baby but I'm hopeful.
Where do you live Caz?? I'll try help you find one if you like honey.
