Good Morning Girls....

Racheal- I'm glad your feeling better... sounds like a little emotional breakdown is just what you both needed. I love it when my DH & I can have a good cry together... I think it brings us closer everytime.

As for us we're doing well... Just getting excited about our 3D/4D ultrasound this Saturday and our OB appointment next Tuesday the 20th. However, I wish that this weekend would be a slow one, but it't not. We'll be busy busy busy like usual.

Well hope your all doing well and having a great day!
Tasha

Hi all sorry i have not posted in a while but life has been very busy. I have had a cold and felt pretty crappy and i have been back to England visiting family and friends. i had a great time shopping, chatting, going out etc. I managed to get myself maternity clothes which was pretty difficult because i am guessing how big i am going to be in a few months. I have put on 1 stone since starting treatment and everyone says i look bigger than 4 months good job i know better.
It has been great catching up with everyones news and sorry if i miss out on any personals, its good to hear everyone is continuing nicely.
Angellica its really good to hear from you i was wondering where you had gone. Sorry you have been in pain i hope you can get answers soon. Don't you just love A & E!!! I to have been suffering with pain but in my back above my right bum cheek, it gets worse when i have been walking or working on the land to much. My doc said that the pain in my ovaries was due to ligament stretching of the uterus. I am going to see a new doc at the hospital where i will give birth on Monday and will be asking about this again as well as lots of other questions.
Racheal sorry you are going through such a difficult time with DH work, i hope you get answers soon so you can move forward.
Tasha you lucky thing having you 3D/4D scan they are so cool, we had one at 13 weeks and it was amazing what we could see. Are you going to have it put on DVD, it is great showing it to everyone.
buckeyegal i have not really had any cravings but i did wake up the other night and really wanted crackers with houmous and sun dried tomatoes, so i went shopping the next morning and it was yummy and for a change healthy.
I have been given loads of baby clothes and can now fill a suitcase up of pink outfits. I can see my little girl having pink clothes but helping on the land and bringing in lots of bugs etc, i have seen a fantastic little tractor that i want for her when she is a little older.
Hope you are all coping in the snow today i have been in a t-shirt and it is about 20/25 degrees lovely.
Take care all

tasha- have fun at the 3d/4d scan... do you get a video and pictures?? where are you getting the US done?? is it an independent place?? i was thinking of doing that, but i'm not sure that too many us would be good for the baby, as we are going to have a lot... i should ask my level II place if they do the 3d/4d scan, since we are there anyway.. i'm sure that the visit after the 20th you get to do the wonderful glucose test... if they give you a choice i would say that the fruit punch is better then the orange... we have a crazy weekend also... we are going to the monster truck/motorcross event at allsate... the boys are so excited.... i'm glad that we are in a sky box and do not have to deal with the smell of the exhust... we got the tickets through a friend for free with food and drinks... sunday we are entertaining here, it's not football anymore, so it's going to be different...

rachael- glad that you are doing a bit better.... sometines it just seems to help, maybe a release of hormones or something... hope that your tv/eating evening went well... we didn't do much, just tries to catch up on some TV shows (heros and greys anatomy) and i too ate a bit of chocolate, a no no for me watching my sugar intake... just glad that you are doing better... we're still praying for the best for his job....

kim-so cool on the us.... glad to hear that things are going well.... you called it a hot dog, cute... the more us you have the better you get at understanding what you are looking at.... it's so cool that you do not know.... that's brave with two.... you'll have to have 2 boy and girl names... are you guys picking names out yet...???

ellie- good to hear that you are well, minus the cold, and busy... hope that the pain goes away.... it's weird the aches and pains our baby gets just out of response of being pregnant...

cowgirl-hope that you are well and that you ankle is feeling better...

as for us... we are ok... my next OB appointment is on march 8th, and my next level II is on march 14th... it's amazing how booked the perinatoligist is.. (i know is spelled way wrong, sorry) i guess that evening appointments are like gold and snatched up really quickly, so i had to book it a week after i should have it... they said it would be ok, as long as it was before my 28th week... why, i do not know.

take care all

Well, I never would've guessed it, but here I am at home AGAIN! It was 20 degrees below zero this morning...too bitterly cold for kids to stand at the bus stops, so they cancelled us again. We've now gone over our limit of 5 snow days for the year, so we'll have to make the day up in June, when I'm humungous! :? I'm really getting cabin fever about now.

Ellie---Good to hear from you! I'm glad you were able to get some clothes for yourself and your little gal. I'm jealous of your weather right now...

Tasha--Pam's supposed to be in Cancun right now, I wonder if she ever got out of Chicago? Have fun at your US this weekend! I hear those 4d ones are really cool! I don't know if we'll do one or not...

That's all for me. I'm going to go nap. I'm amazingly tired for not really having done anything!

Well, everyone is doing well I see!

I went shopping again and now I have finally found the bedding set for my little girl! I have looked and looked and this one just jumped out at me. I was thrilled to have found it!

Image

Kim - I am glad you are staying warm. I know what you mean about cabin fever though. As for how big you are, never fear, you are carrying for two which means you won't be growing at the same rate as the rest of us! I hope you get back to work soon!

Colleen - Prior to 28 weeks is when they like to check out all the organ development. By than the baby is big enough for a good look and yet not too cramped to see well. I hope it goes well!

Ellie - I am glad to hear someone is not freezing. Just the other day, my sister called me just to complain because her A/C went out and it was 80 degrees in Florida. I laughed at her!

Tasha - Good luck at the 4D. It looks like fun, but we are buckling down so we are going to miss it this time around.

Cowgirl - I am praying you are staying warm right now! It is suposed to get colder tonight!

Stay safe all!

Racheal- that bedroom set is so adorbale.... I'm sure your little girl is going to just love it. How was your Cuddeling/TV night last night? Hopefully wonderful....

Kim- you are so lucky at have missed another day of school, however that stinks that now you'll have to add a day in June. Hopefully it won't be so warm then.... Yeah Pam was supposed to leave for Cancun yesterday, but I don't know if she ever got out. I'm thinking yes... or else she probably would have come to work knowing her. I'm jealous of her right now...

Colleen- Yeah I'm going to get a DVD, CD full of pictures & 2 sheets of pictures... I can't wait. The DVD will also be put to music (of our choice). We're are going to an independent place in Naperville. I actually called my doctor and asked if it was ok and he said yes and that he was heard nothing but good things about this place. That made me feel so much better. Well have fun at the Monster Trucks this weekend... my Dad is working it both days & my Mom is working it on Saturday. Also my little cousins are going on Sunday.... I'm sure your boys will love it.

Ellie- it's good to hear from you... however, sorry to hear you have a cold and are feeling pretty crappy. Hopefully things get better for you soon... It's good to hear that you had a fun time in England visiting w/ family & friends... and that you picked yourself & baby up some clothes.

As for the rest of you I hope your all doing well...

Tasha - My cuddling session went well. As usual, once DH and I started cuddling, the boys jumped on the bed and wiggled in! We watched Pirates of the Carribean and enjoyed some homemade kettlecorn and chocolate chip cookies (also homemade). I have always been a cook and love baking, cooking, grilling, you name it I love it. Unfortunately I love to eat it too! Be careful today!

Ellie - Welcome back I am glad you are doing OK, the pain in your buttock sounds like the sciatic nerve, I started with it this evening! reiki is real good for sciatica I have excellent success rates for this evil ailment (use choku rei with fingers in together in a pinching motion, imagining the CR travelng to and fro each hand, one hand at he start of the pain and one at the finish then a reiki stack over the buttock 20 mins each position as often as you can)

Cmoscar - That bedding is fantastic, I LOVE it!!! glad you seem a little brighter, it will all pan out in the end stay positive!!

Buckeyegal - I cannot even begin to imagine -20! I have never felt anything like it and to be honest never wish to! but at least you get to sleep more! I would want to bloody hibernate if it were that cold here

Thook - I hope you have a great 4d scan!!! We are having a 4d scan at about 25 wks nether of us can wait! How excting!!!!

Crasmus - Have a great time at motorcross! Far better than footie!!!!

As for me had a scan yesterday and it is definitey my horrific adhesions causing the pain, baby was so big I cannot wait till tomorrow so DH can see Branston to, he is sooooo excited I have felt her (it better be I have everything pink!!!) she does not stop wriggling it is constant now and really tickles!!! the woman doing my scan yesterday wouldn't say what sex /she was 'Not in this clinic' they are soooo moody!! I couldnt see a willy though  and she did say it was acting like a boy! a long as Branston is healthy I do not care either way......I started with sciatica tonight ooohhh nasty I pray you dont get it!!!

Well better get off I am teaching this week and have an early start...

Anyone else I havent mentioned I hope you are all doing good.....

Take care

angellica- i hear you pain about the sciatica... sorry that you too have to deal with it... i've had sciatica since my last pregnancy, and it never went away... mine shoots down my leg from the middle of my bum.. i go to a chiropractor and massage therapist once a week or so... you can try heat for 10 min, then ice for 10 minutes... it can help.. hope that yours does not get any worse... there were times that i could not walk, or just about fell mid stride... take care of your back.. are you going to find out tomorrow if it's a boy or girl..

ellie- hope that your back is getting better and if it's sicatica, i said a few things to angellica that might help...

rachael- i love love love the bedding it is so cute!, thanks for the info on the 28 weeks... we are thinking of asking about the sex... to make sure that i'm calling him him, correctly...

tasha- you should post your 3d/4d photos on the photobucket... it would be cool to see... have a good day...

kim- hope that you are in school so yyou do not have to make up any more days in june, and get ride of the cabin fever..

take care all... sorry if i missed anyone

Good Morning Everyone,

I hope everyone is doing well.

Angelica - I am so sorry you are in so much pain but happy that the baby is doing well. Do they know if you are going to need a C-Section because of the adheasions? Let us know how your next appointment goes.

Ellie - I am so sorry that you are feeling bad. I hope your cold is better. Make sure you drink pleanty of water.

Tasha - Good luck at your scan. Let us know how it goes.

Kim - I'm so glad that your scan went well. You must be thrilled. Are you still snowbound? We had a bad storm here in NY on Valentines day and it is so cold. I just wish I could stay home until Spring. I hate the cold.

Cmoscar - Thank you so much for updating our list. I would be lost without it. The bedding set is so cute. She is going to love it. Stay warm.

Nictor, Jeck, Cowgirl - How are you all doing? I hope you are well and healthy.

As for me this was the week of worrying. I thought I was getting better at relaxing but this week put me to the test. I was home sick all week with a horrible cold and fever. I was so scared that the fever could hurt the baby so I kept taking Tylenol to keep it down for the last few days. Today it seems to be gone and I slept last night pretty well so hopefully I am over the worst of it. Then yesterday, I read that the US is having a penut butter recall due to salmonella poisining and of course the peanut butter I have been eating is the one that has been recalled. So of course I am panicked about that. I have had stomach upset on and off for the last few weeks but my stomach has always been bad so I can not tell if it was just normal bad or bad because of the peanut butter. I called my OB/GYN and his expert medical advise was that "If you had it there is nothing we could do about it now anyway" and to "stop eating it". He did not seem the least bit concerned. I guess I am just being paranoid but I can not help but worry. I also, still have not felt the baby yet and think that if I did I would feel much bettter. Sorry, to vent but I know you guys would understand.

All my best,
Nance

Nance - I am so sorry to hear your story! Hwever, in defense of the OB, he is right. Once you have salmanila, the oly thing you can do is ride it out. If you become dehydrated, they can give an iv, but normally you ride it out. I am glad you seem to be looking up. I hope you continue to improve. As for the baby moving, if you are pregnant for the first time it could be a month or more before you feel her move. On an even brighter side, the baby is protected from most illnesses through the placenta. Most of the viruses and such are to big to cross over and thus, you are sick, but the baby is not.

Angellica - Good luck! I hope your baby co operates with you! I know ours was very open this time, but when we were pregnant with the boys, they were constantly having to move around just to find out! Post as soon as you can!

Colleen - It is up to you about whether you find out or not. I kind of caved into what my DH wanted, but on the other side I am grateful to know what she is. This way we are able to prepare better that if we didn't. Now I can do all the personal touches I so love to do because once she is here, I will be very busy caring for our three children!

Tasha - Please keep us posted, I am very excited about seeing you beautiful little girl!

Kim - I hope your little ones are doing well. I hear there should be a mild warm up so maybe you will be able to go back to work! Otherwise, enjoy a cup of hot cocoa for me!

Ellie - Hope the warm weather is helping your cold. I have wondered if I would prefer to be somewhere warm, but I think I am happy here. At least we have a reason to light the fireplace and read quietly in the evenings.

Jeck - If you are hovering, tell us how it went! I have been wondering about your visit with you little angel.

We are doing well here in Houston. The weather is veery cold this morning (27 degrees) but it is suposed to warm up to about 65 this afternoon. Makayla is making a habit of waking me up at 3:00 am to ensure we know she is there. In fact, this morning she woke both me and DH. I had snuggled close to him because I was cold and she kicked really hard. DH just laughed and proceeded to hold my belly and talk to Makayla until I smacked him and stomped off to the guest room to sleep for a few more hours. DH has really gotten bad about only sleeping for a few hour at night because he works from home and can take a nap in the afternoon. I on the other hand must stay awake and alert at work! I hope every is doing well.

Stay warm, safe and round!

Happy Friday Girls... that god the weekend is finally here and I'm excited because I have a long weekend due to President's Day!

Colleen- I'll try and post the pictures this weekend if I can... I hope they turn out great!

Angellica- I can't wait to hear about your scan... I hope everything went well. Please keep us posted.

Nance- I'm so sorry to hear you weren't feeling well this week, but I'm glad things seem to be turning around for you now. Also just to let you know I really didn't start feeling my little girl until just this week.... so give it time. I'm sure you'll start to feel her very soon.

Racheal- Sorry to hear your weather is so cold... however, I'd take 27 degrees over -10 degrees right now. However, they are saying we're in store for a warm up so that's something to look forward to. Stay warm and healthy...

As for us we're doing well. Just really excited about our scan tomorrow morning... I hope the images turn out perfect! I'll keep you all posted... then since we're off on Monday we're going to finish registering (I'll be happy when we're all done).

Here's wishing you girls a great day!

nance-good to hear that you are doing ok.... wish that you felt a bit better... that stinks about the peanut butter.... we actually had it in the house, but had not eaten any yet, as peanut butter gives me aweful heartburn... hope that you are well soon...

tasha- bet you are excited... hope that she is photogenic tomorrow.. take care and try and post pictures..

angellia- hope your scan goes really well..... i totally beleive in the dreams.. i had a dream with my 1st son that he was a boy and born on a certain date (over a month before my due date) and he was born on that date... very weird... hope that he/she cooperates.

racheal- wow 65 degrees... holy cow... we are going to have a huge warm up, and maybe just maybe hit 40... that's a lot warmer then it's been in a long time... well take care, i know about having no time when the 3rd comes... everyone who has 3 or more kids keeps telling me that... kind of scary.. at least if we are for sure having a boy, we have all our boy stuff allready...

kim-hope your back at work, and it's a bit warmer..

ellie- enjoy the warmth for those of us stuck in the cold!!

take care all
