Fall 2007 Babies

Just checking in to see how everyone is doing? Hope doing well.

I am going crazy waiting for Tuesday. Wish I could go sooner. Today I woke up and have not symptoms. I am sure its ok...NO bleeding so I feel good about that. I just worry too much.

Janine, i think we all worry too much...i feel the same way in that i really don't have many symtoms, my biggest problem these days is trying to get back to sleep at night after getting up to pee...i stay awake for hours thinking about EVERYTHING...i also have trouble eating, i'm hungry but when it comes to actually eating i can hardly do it...my RE said as long as i'm drinking enough fluids and not getting sick i shouldn't stress so much about it...i also go tuesday for my second u/s and am feeling very anxious...i wonder if non ivf woman (fertiles) feel like this also or is it just us because we have been trying soooo hard and know what a blessing it is to actually getting a BFP???

Hi Ladies,

I feel the same way about the symtoms. I have nothing! The only thing is that my bb' are sore. I keep trying to remind myself that it is normal. I had a natural pregnancy 7 years ago and I have a 6 and 1/2 year old son and I can remember that I did not start morning sickness or really anything until around 7 weeks. Ann you are right on. I remember from my son I never worried as much as I do now and you only get one or two ultrasounds in a natural conseption pregnancy. This is much different. Well, I go back in for blood work on Sunday and that afternoon when they call with the results they will let me know when my US is. Can't wait!

Hope you all are feeling well. I had my beta test done again yesterday and they went up to 13,937 and my first ultrasound is on Feb. 26th! I cant wait!

I also started a little m/s this morning. It was not fun but I was happy to finnally have symtoms.

hi everyone! Hope your feeling well. Anyone else with MS yet?

Erin, your #s are looking good! yahoo for MS! That means everything is normal.

I have been having constant nausea for almost a week now. It starts when i wake and goes on till i go to bed. I guess MS set in pretty early since I'm w/twins. Or maybe beacause my beta was so high early on. I don't know, but it's kind of becoming a nightmare. sometimes i want to cry because i literally feel like i'm starving, but everything i eat (except bread) makes me want to vomit. so far i've been holding it down, but it's really uncomfortable. I had to add a chidren's vitamin in addition to my prenatal, because I've got 2 little beans to nourish and also even my prenatal vit is giving me trouble.

I got some ginger ale and ginger root because it's supposed to help with nausea, but I don't want to over do it, and it only helps for a little while. I never imagined it would be like this. I have never in my life felt hunger like this. it's like after 3 hours I feel like i haven't eaten in 3 days! I don't want to complain too much because I really wanted to have a baby and now i'm pg. so of course I know I am blessed. I'm just going to have to take it one day at a time.

Has anyone used that beta website that calculates your numbers? Do you count the day of your transfer the day of ovulation??? We are a different breed with this IVF stuff. Just curious. Getting my US tomorrow but had blood work today. Waiting on the call.

Mia i'm right with you...the last 4 days i've had nonstop nausea and i'm sooooooo tired i can barely get out of bed in the morning...i have so much trouble eating and have just been trying to keep myself hydrated...and like you said you hate complaining because we wanted this so bad and i am so happy but i think these babies are trying to kill me ha ha...it's so weird because last week i was praying for any symptoms and now i'm praying for them to go away or at least ease up a bit...

Erin congrats on the m/s, but as youread above be careful what you wish for lol...

Skidoo i also tried that beta website a couple weeks ago but i really don't understand it at all...but i do think you count your retrieval as ur day of ovulation..i can't wait to hear ur numbers today...Good luck tomorrow...i also go tomorrow for my 2nd u/s so hopefully i will be able to see the heartbeats...

I just got the call...am a little upset...She said my number was greater than 5000...She did not give me an exact number..She said the doctor is good with the number but I think this is a little low for where we are at...I dont know...Now I am more upset....I tried that website and if I am doing it right it shows like 72 hours of doubling time..Thought it should be 48...Who knows....I guess we will know more tomorrow...

Skidoo...it sounds like a good number... from what she said the dr was good with it...i was wondering y they keep doing bloodwork.??? i'm just curious because i read alot of girls get there bloodwork done numerous times and the last time i got bloodwork was jan 31st, 13dp3dt...i would say not to be nervous but thats impossible for all of us, so instead i will say HANG IN THERE

1 more sleep until u see your baby...i'll be waiting to hear from u tomorrow...what time is ur appt?

Thanks for the words on encouragment. My husband called the nurse back cause I was up-set. He actually spoke to another nurse in the office. She said my numbers are great now the US tells more. I had my last beta on 2/7...I was to get another a few days later but they could not get enough blood out of me. I have no idea why they do more bloodwork, they do bloodwork if every US. I wanted the doctor to have all the information he needed when he does the US tomorrow, therefore I went in today so they would have the results. I feel better about my husband talking to the nurse.
My appointment is at 2:30 tomorrow. I will let you know how it goes.

How are you feeling??

Hi girls,

If you don't mind a new member to the board, I'd like to join in! Just got the BFP news on Saturday after 2.5 years of trying (8 failed cycles of IUI and 1 failed 1VF). Beta HCG was 406 on day 8 after FET (with 3 Day 6 Blasts). Had my levels checked again yesterday, it rose to 1091! Doctor suspects there may be twins but I'll find out next Monday (2/26).

Keeping our news to ourselves for a while but am looking forward to sharing the next 9 months with you all!

hi girls...
just got back from my u/s and i'm losing it a bit...the 1st baby is measuring perfect, 7 wks with a FHB of 136 but the 2nd baby is only measuring 6w2d with a FHB of 108...they were going to release me today to my obgyn but now want me to come back next tues for another u/s to make sure everything is going ok...they tell me not too worry that this sometimes happens but then still haven't given me any u/s pictures...i just have a bad feeling...

Ann...Hang in there..I am sure everything will be fine...I hear a lot that with twins one is slower developing but will catch up. I am glad you heard the 2 heartbeats. Did you ask for a picture? Please rest this week and try to relax as much as possible. Remember you little ones need their mom to be as stress free as possible. Hang in there.. Thinking of you.
