HI gals!

Not much time for personals today, either...we're all so busy, huh?

Colleen, so sorry you've gotten the bug. Take it easy!

Angelica, all that PR will be great for your shop!

Casey--good luck on the colposcopy. I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers. Hopefully, it's nothing major.

Ellie--I'm glad to hear you're doing well. As for drugs at delivery, I know it can be a serious matter for some people, and I understand why people don't want the epidural. But, my attitude is, "I didn't get these babies naturally, and I ain't delivering them naturally!" I usually get a chuckle from people when I tell them that! I'm sure you'll have a great delivery, not matter what they do in Spain.

Racheal--I'm glad to hear your migraine is gone. Enjoy your weather this weekend! thanks for the tips about the car seat.

Have a great weekend gals! I'm going to take it easy and try to avoid heartburn. I was up ALL NIGHT last night with it...no matter how many TUMS I took....

Hello

Thanks so much for all your words of encouragement last week after my rant...

I've finally sorted out a scan on 12th March when I will be 20 weeks but its at the private hospital, the nhs were not for budging on their decision (it is, however, the same doc thats doing it at the private hospital as would have at the nhs hospital). I think its expensive because its the 20 week anomaly scan.

Rachael - do you ever stop, it makes me tired just reading what youve been up to, I have still done nothing and its taking all my effort to go to the cinema this afternoon, never mind cooking breakfast in bed, baking cakes and all the other things you do. My pains seems to be becoming a bit less frequent, although peeing is still not fun...

Angelica - sorry to read you have been having a stressful time. Congratulations on finding out you are having a boy.

Kim, I'm sorry I'm weak I think we will find out the sex of our baby at the next scan. My main reason is my Dad is pretty ill and I'd like him to know just in case. It will be really exciting for you getting a suprise, are your twins identical?

Hope everyone else is doing well.

Wendy, I'm glad you're able to schedule a scan! Don't apologize about finding out the sex of your little one! Sometimes, I wonder if I'm crazy for not finding out...but now we've committed to surprise, so I'm going to go through with it! We'll find out soon enough, right?

Tasha--How was your massage? I want to get one of those sometime, I'm just trying to watch the money situation right now....Since I'm only going to work part time next year, my salary will be cut in half...and for a teacher, that's not a lot!

My bedding came in this week, so I'm off to start hanging valances, etc. I'm actually frustrated with JC Penney, because it's not exactly how I wanted it, but it's the best I've found for the black/white pattern I'm going.....oh well, in a few months it'll all be covered with spit up anyway, right?

Have a great weekend!

Hello Girls.... well the bad weather has started for us again. It's sleeting out right now and we're supposed to get another 3-5 inches by tomorrow. Racheal or Cowgirl do you have room for 2 1/2???? I want to be where it's warm at already. Well I went for my massage last night and it wasn't that good... however, I just think it was the place I went to. They didn't have the table you lay face down on w/ a whole cut out for your belly. They had me lay on my side and she only massaged my shoulders and upper back.... however my lower back is what is hurting me. Well thankfully I had a gift certificate - otherwise I wouldn't have paid for it. Well looks like I'll be buying myself one next month at a different place.

Hope the rest of you girls are doing well... Kim sorry to hear about your bedding, but I'm sure it still looks cute. Hopefully I'll see it in April. I'm just checking to se if my little sister has a dance competition that weekend and if she doesn't then I'm coming along....

Stay warm & round girls...
Tasha

Tasha--sorry to hear that your massage was a disappointment. That's a bummer! You're right about the bedding...it's still cute, just not exactly how I wanted it. [Hopefully you'll get to be here in April to see it! ]

Have a good night gals!

Okay Girls!!!

I am not finished with Makayla's room yet, but here is a link with some of the pictures from yesterday. It is really coming along. I think I will have it done by next weekend.

http://s137.photobucket.com/albums/q209/cmoscar/

Wendy - I am glad you are doing okay. I was a little worried when we did not see you right away. I hope your pain is going away.

Thook - Come on over, I have a guest room and an office we can use to keep you warm! Actually, right now we have a visitor from Florida. He is a very good friend from South Florida (actually he is from Britian) and he was in the first wave of layoffs at the factory level. The layoffs have not reach DH's team yet, but we expect it will soon. Anyway, back to our visitor. He is staying a couple of days and then will return to Florida to sell his house. Once the house is gone, he will be back here and stay with us until he gets a new job. He already has some offers from people we know, so I don't think he will need us long. I have no problem helping him, because he helped us once before and we are very close friends. As for your back, I do something strange with mine. I get in the shower, curl into a ball and let the shower blast warm water on my back. The position seems to relieve some of the weight and the water feels like heaven. After about ten minutes, I make the water cool and let that stay on for about 10 minutes. Then I am good to go for a little while.

Kim - I am sorry to hear about your bedding. I hate to admitt it, but my bedding has turned out to be perfect and I am so very excited. I am sure yours will be just fine once you put it in. You will have to send us pictures once your room is done.

Casy P - I am so glad you are doing well. I am sorry to hear about the procedures you are going to need, but it is better safe than sorry. I am glad you little one is doing good. Keep us posted!

Colleen - I hope your headaches are far between. Me, I seem to be getting them every other day this week. I am not sure, but I think it is allergy related. I hope you are feeling better!

Angellica - By time you have the baby, labor will feel like a vacation. I hope you are able to find some time relax. I am sending loads of energy for you to borrow!

Ellie - Fear not, labor will happen. I have had various forms of pain meds and I must admitt, I prefer the epidural. The IV drugs made me very sleepy and later I had an allergic reaction to them. The epidural gives complete relief and is fairly painless. I have also been gased and I hated that! They over did it and I was knocked out! I was very confused and disorientation when I woke up. Anyway, if you need something, look into all the options and remember, you will be in pain when they are offered!

Cowgirl - I hope you are well this week. We miss you!

Nance - I know work is busy, but I would love to have an update from you!

Nicola - Are you okay? I hope so, we are looking forward to your news!

Jeck - I am hoping your silence is a good sign and that you are busy working on the Jaden's room and buying all the cool baby things you will need. God Bless you and DH!

Well, I am going back to work on Makayla's room, hope everyone is cuddling up close to DH!

Stay warm, safe and round!

Thook you are welcome any time!!!!! I guess I should tell you I got a mild sunburn on Saturday at our drill team performance :-) I have been seriously contimplating getting a PG massage, but now I guess I am going to have to get a referral from someone I know. Like you said at least you didn't spend any money on it.

Wendy I am glad you got your scan scheduled. I know my 20 week scan really put my mind at ease. Please make sure you let us know how it goes.

Cmoscar the room is looking GREAT!!!! I really need to get started on the baby room. Since we painted it a color we didn't really care for we kind of got stalled and I have been working on an outdoor project that is going very slow so I don't over due it. And since a neighbor is helping me I feel obligated to finish it first. I really hope your husband does not get laid off and you find out soon so you can relax about that piece of your life. :-) Being PG is stressful enough without having lingering issues such as work.

Kim I am looking forward to seeing your nusery pics when it is done. You have more work to do then the rest of us because it is two. :-) I am sure it will come out beautiful!

Casy I am sorry you are having to endure extra while PG but glad all is going well. Please keep us posted and know that we are here for venting :-)

Angelica -congratulations on the boy :-) and try to take it easy!

Ellie I am very up in the air about the epidural as well. I would like this to be as natural as possible and my other two were natural and I had relatively easy labors. But this PG has been so different and I am so much older that I am a bit concerned. I still have not had to make a decision yet because I actually have to change doctor's and hospitials at the end of March. So that will be a priority for me to make that decision then.

crasmus- I hope you are feeling better! It stinks being sick but is worse when you have to be cautious about meds!

Nance I hope you are doing well, please drop us a note. :-)

Sorry for anyone I missed. I do check in every week day but just never have anything new to say. :-) I have a doctor's appt today so I will post tomorrow about that. :-)

Take care and God Bless All of you,
cowgirl

Happy Monday Girls....

Racheal & Cowlgirl- I just might take you girls up on your offer... we had a ice storm here this weekend and got another 2-3 inches of snow. I'm so ready for spring/summer.

Hi guys, Gladeveryone seems to be progressing well.
Can't believe so many of you are talking about snow. Weso rarely see snow here it's strange that your all prepared for it.

Rachel- glad nursery is going well. Will sek a quick look in a minute!
This poor baby is having to make do with the nursery as it is. We are moving DD out into the bigger room when it gets decorated! First babies get all the nice stuff don't they! Second baby has to make do poor things.

Thook- sorry your massage isn't as good as you'd hoped. Bet you were looking forward to it as well.

Cowgirl- Hope appointment goes well. Update us with any news.

Everyone else hope you've had a good Monday.

As for me I'm feeling pretty miserable today. Got a cold and an eye infection which is horrible. Making my eyes feeling like they constantly have grit in them. Plus I am majorly tired (slept 10 hours last night!) and very hormonal. DH and I had big dicussions Sat night as I just couldn't stop crying. He has been much more considerate since. Do feel sorry for the men! Thought I was supposed to start blooming soon (morning sickness made an unwelcome return as well!) I love being pregnant tho and wouldn't change it for anything. I know you'll all understand. Sorry moan over.

Take care all

Raheal--Makayla's room is precious. It's very calming...she'll love it! I think I'm already over my initial disappointment in my bedding. It's actually quite silly--I was expecting black/white polka dotted sheets, and they sent me black/white toile instead. It's still cute, just not what I had "envisioned". But, as soon as I started to hang the valances and dust ruffles, I saw how cute it is going to be! I'll send pics once its' done. We still need to get matresses before we can finish up the details.

CaseyP--sorry to hear about your ailments! I hope you are feeling better soon...

I haven't been sleeping well lately. I have trouble getting comfy in bed. I do have one of those big body pillows, which helps...I just might have to kick DH out of bed soon! Ineed his space! Oh, I'm finally feeling the babies kick! Yeah! They're still few and far between, but I'm definitely feeling action down there!

hi there girls... we are still working on getting rid of this darn bug... i have a cough and can not hear well out of my ear in which i had the ear infetion, but they said that could take a week or two... the one funny thing is, every time that i cough my belly button pops way out... the kids think that it's the funniest thing in the world!! i'm susposed to be sorting out our baby stuff to see what we need... we went sorted and donated stuff this summer, not thinking that we would have another.. we did keep a lot, but some of the smaller stuff, we gave away... so it was my goal to have that done this week.... i know there are a few things that we need, but i would like to be prepared, kind of anyway!!!

kim- hope that the sleeping gets better and congrats on the kicking action... i do enjoy that feeling and think that it's one of the best feelings in the world... now the kicks will just get stronger and you'll start to feel more and more everyday... glad that the bedding issue is working itself out.... i'm sure it looks great, and looking forward to seeing the picts

casey- sorry about the cold... beleive me it sucks... i have that right now too... and on top of that morning sickness, and eye infection... so so sorry... hopfully all will be over really soon

tasha- sorry to hear about the massage... i've heard that they are all hit or miss... i was thinking of having one, as our ob/gyn has a spa too, so i thought that they would be a good place, but not sure... i do not know anyone who has had one there.... i'm glad that the snow/sleet and ice have stopped for now... it was a really messy weekend... we were driving home rosemont fridaynight as it was starting ... yuck we actually got stuck behind a guy going 10 MPH in a 55 zone... with no passing!! DH was almost ready to get out and run faster then the driver...

cowgirl- hope that your appointment went well.. and you are feeling fine

rachael- the room looks great... good job!! hope that the headaches are not so often...... i find that if i do not drink enough h2o then there are more of them.... hope that the allergies and headaches stop!!!

well, anyone i forgot i'm sorry.... mind head is quite stuffed at the moment, but i hope that everyone is well and taking care or their little or big or in between bellies...

Good Morning Girls.....

Colleen- hopefully your bug will disappear soon.... I hate having a cold and not being able to hear. That is too funny about your belly button... I'd probably laugh too. Well I'm going to ask my OB if he knows of any good massage places... would you mind passing along your OB's spa info too? Wow you were in Rosemont... that's where I grew up. I was there all day Saturday for the Halloween Show (looking for a costume for the little one). My parents still live there and so does most of my family - small world.

Kim- glad to hear that your feeling much better about your bedding... I was talking to Pam yesterday about it and she got a kick out of what you said about spit up... she sounds so excited about your baby shower! She keeps asking me all the time.. it's so cute. I should know after this weekend for sure. Also I'm so happy that you have started to feel the little ones kick.... it's such an amazing feeling. I start laughing everytime Aubrey kicks... DH loves watching my stomach pop out when she kicks me.

Casy- sorry to hear your feeling miserable... hopefully things will get better for you very soon. I hate having colds.... and morning sickness on top ofthat doesn't help. Get better soon sweetie...

Cowgirl- how did your appointment go yesterday?

Well hope the rest of you have a great day...
Tasha

Hello everyone!

My appt. went well. I was actually in labor and delivery Sunday afternoon because I was spot bleeding continuously for 2 1/2 days and I spent the last day and half in bed to be on the safe side. I called and talked to the nurse and told her I have had spotting since the begining but in the past something had always triggered it like bowel movements or sex and have always been told it was a friable cervix. I called because I wanted to make sure my cervix wasn't doing something, so they told me to come in a day could make a big difference. So I went in got to hear my active little girl and they said once again it was a friable cervix. So low n behold, when I went for my checkup I actually seen the same doc I saw in labor and delivery the day before. He listened to the HB and set me up for my GTT, I will go do tomorrow. And told me I need to be more cautious and relax more. I haven't been doing any riding or lifting but I do alot of walking with my daughter for the horses and stuff. I have actually tried to walk extra for the exercise. He told me to cut some of the walking out. He said it only takes a quick turn of events for my cervix to start changing and since it is so sensitive I should just be cautious. So that is what I am going to do. :-) I may get as big as a house but..... :-) It is not as bad as it sounds, he just wants me to lean on the side of caution.

Colleen I hope you get to feeling better soon.

Kim I went through a time where I wasn't sleeping very good, but I seem to be sleeping very well now. But since you have two it maybe very different for you. I hope it gets better soon.

Take care everyone!

hi girls... still working on getting this bug gone..

tasha- we were at the rosemont theater on saturday we say Diego live... it was fun for the kids.... Caden my 3 year old got the tickets for his b-day... being so close to christmas that it was better then more toys (you'll understand in a year or two) DH grew up in des plaines his whole life and we lived there and in Arlington heights for a little while... otherwise i grew up out here, back before it was so developed... did you find a costume there?? or were you looking for ideas??

cowgirl-not good about the stay at L&D hope that you were not there too long... it's hard to relax when there is so much to do.... you wonder when they say "relax" are they themselves relaxing?? or know how hard it is to relax at times.. well walking so much is out, not too bad of a deal inorder to keep your littlw safe and growing.... take care of yourself! ! have a great GTT... i'm sure that we are all looking forward to ours... my repeat is next week....

hope that everyone else is well...
