hey everyone!
Welcome and congrats to all the new ladies to the list. there are so many of you in the last few days!:D I am familiar with some of your stories. It's great to read you on this side!

Erin, WOW!!!! identical twins..... amazing. Congrats! I'm due Oct 13, but we also think our little ones will be here around the end of Sept. Is it me or does twins seem to be extremely abundant this year?
BTW, nice of you to offer to do the list for us. Thank you.

WISCONSINGAL, Yay there is a HB! that is good news. Your little one is growing up!

sorry I havn't posted in awhile. I have been so sick and have not been up for sitting at the computer much. I started puking about 5 days ago and it is not fun. oddly enough, i've been puking only at night after dinner rather than in the morning. My RE says to drink a lot of water to dilute the toxins out of my blood. Increasing hormones causes toxins to build up quickly in the blood and causes nausea. He said to drink 10 glasses a day, but that is nearly impossible because even drinking water feels bad and I have to take small sips at a time. Anyway, enough whining. We saw the HBs last Thurs. it was amazing! It's so good to see that they are really living. everything is good with the babies so far and I'm very happy. I have another US on Mon, 3/5. It's amazing how quickly they progess this trimester. Is anyone else looking up the stages where your baby is at. this is a great web site that I like to look at. www.visembryo.com (Visible Embryo)

Hello everyone! I leave the post for a few days and babies burst from the seams!!!!! :D

Congrats Erin on identical twins!!! What fun! It's nice to have another mother to discuss the anticipation of twins with! Also, so great of you to do the list. It's so helpful to see every once in a while. It's also nice to be able to check on each other.
We are due Oct. 11, our next U/S is March 8 and we can't wait!

Welcome Maybebaby! Isn't is great to say "I'm pregnant" after so long??? I think we all share your joy on that one! The spotting must have been a bit frightening but I'm glad you are more settled about it now. The HB really makes it real huh? Good luck!

Still not experiencing any symptoms at all but everything is normal so I'll just try to relax about it. Swear if I could just vomit once I'd be so relieved! Never thought I would say that ! :?
We just found out my DH sister went through IVF 4 times and failed every time. We are so hurt for her and she doesn't know we know yet. It's unbelievable how many people are struggling with infertility and also how many never succeed. While we celebrate, she is heart broken and that just breaks my heart. How do you help? Don't want to exclude her but also don't want to have our twins in her face making it worse. She's pretty private and just so sweet. I wish we could do something.

Hope everyone is doing great! I missed ya over the weekend!

Hi Kimberly,

Me too on the symptoms thing - had my betas done again yesterday (at 5w 2d). They are more than twice the normal amount for 5 weeks (nearly 22,000) - yet, bascially no symptoms and only one baby. Nuts! Part of me wishes I felt something so I would stop second guessing everything. Once again, happy to know I'm not alone :)

Nice numbers Karen!!!!! Sounds like a very strong pregnancy!!! My nurse keeps saying "Consider yourself lucky!" The reality is only 2/3 pg's have symptoms normally so we are the 1/3 that got lucky!

Still, wouldn't it be great to have just one day of m/s? :? I do think the bb's have grown a little but nothing that suggests I've had any work done! Wouldn't that be a great problem~ To still be our regular size with the boobs we'll have 8 months from now! DH would be so happy!

Have you already done an u/s? With numbers that high I would think you would certainly have twins! I didn't get an u/s until 7 weeks. What a wait! Our next one is on the 8th and we are super excited!

Take care~

kbarry and kholton, trust me you are very lucky! I think it's still early for you (kbarry). many ladies start feeling MS around 6-7 wks. I started feeling nausea at around 5 1/2 wks. I think mine came on strong and quickly because I had extrememely high HCG early on. my hcg was above average (even for twins) according to the beta base website. At first I was so glad i was able to hold my food for a week while nauseous, then BAM! it hit like a frieght train  Anyway Last night was the first night in 5 days that I didn't puke, i hope that means things are getting better. the way i see things is I only have about a month til the 2nd tri, so it won't be long before the worst of MS is over if not totally over. I cannot believe I am practically 2 mos PG! :D this saturday will be exactly 8 weeks.... unbelievable. these little ones will be be here in no time. :D

Hi girls,

It's so fun to read what's going on with everyone. Thanks for such a nice welcome. I still click on the ivf sight and then rememer I can click on the pregnant after treatment!! It's still does not feel real, but it's basically all I think about. I have been getting a bit of m/s which is actually very exciting for me. I'm almost disappointed when I don't feel yucky-which I know is ridiculous! My ultra sound is Monday March 1st. I will be 6 weeks and 2 days. I'm nervous, but excited. Hey, a quick question how long are your doctors keeping you on progesterone? Are any of you taking the trouches? I am but wonder if I'm the only one. Anyway, have a great day all!

Congrats opn twins Erin!!

Kbarry and khotlon I know how you feel about the m/s!!!

Mia - I hope you are feeling better soon, wow 2 months already it's amazing isn't it?

Shanny I have to take progesterone till the 12 week mark, I am on pessaries (yuk) but it's worth it, am also on HRT tablets because I did a FET. Good luck with the scan, I can't wait for mine!!

As for me I am occassionally feeling nauseous but not being sick, I have really sore bb's and really exhausted all the time, not that I'm complaining. I keep touching my bb's to make sure they are still sore (stupid I know) but I can't help it!!! I think I can honestly say waiting for the scan is worse than the dreaded 2ww

Take care all

Hi Shanny, What is a trouche? I'm on progesterone suppositories (prometrium) till 8 weeks, then once I see my regular OB, I'm not sure.

So for anyone who is experiencing being tired - what does it feel? It is very extreme, or do you just feel a little more sluggish than normal. That is one symptom I figured I'd have by now. But like you said hopeful-in-LV, I'm still pretty early on - things may change for me in week 6 or 7. I hope so - as nutty as that sounds.

I'm so glad to have you all to chat with about this stuff :)

I did a frozen cycle and am on progesterone suppositories and shots daily and estrogen shots twice a week until week 11. I go for my 8 week ultrasound today and am very nervous. I'm still not feeling the best, feel worse if I don't eat every 2 hourse but having some skin issues on my face. The skin on my eyelids are slightly swollen and red , dry and itchy and have 2 spots to side of my right eye. It's wierd.

Kbarry - For me the tiredness has been quite extreme. Around 3pm each day I feel so exhausted that I don't think I will be able to keep going without a nap. Everyone is different - some people only feel a little tired. Hopefully you will be one of them!

K-rose - I hope your u/s went really well.

Funny how different we all are and how close in gestation. I have been more tired for sure. It seems as though I need 10 hours of sleep and I have lost motivation to really work hard. LOVE to lounge lately and normally we are all go at this house until bedtime. My bathrobe has had a lot of extra use!

My Dr. has me on a shot of 1cc progesterone a day and a daily progesterone suppository. I'll do the shots until 9 weeks and then just the supp. until 1-2 weeks later. Seems like a lot compared to others?

Just happy to be PG! Anyone gained any weight yet? I don't think I have but the area I get my shot is swollen a bit and I'm still a bit bloated from the hyperstimulation of my ovaries. My u/s showed my ovaries as big as a fist still! :( Did anyone have that problem?

Take care~

Hi girls,

It seems like you are all on a lot more progesterone than I am. I went down to 1/2cc of the injections and once my betas were doubling my dr put me on a trouche. Trouches are these things I put under my tongue and let disolve. They aren't awful, but not really tasty either. My progesterone numbers have always been good, but I hope I'm getting enough.

I have m/s some days just slightly and not much others. It kind of worries me when I don't. I feel tired, but nothing unbearable. My bbs are still sore and Haylie I do the same thing, I poke them to make sure they are still sore. The worrier in me thinks my lack of symptoms means something is wrong, but I'm working on just trying to enjoy finally being pregnant and feeling lucky that my symptoms aren't very bad. Can't wait for my ultra sound for some more assurance. Anyway have great days!!!

Well, ultrasound went good. I am 8wks 3days and baby is measuring same and heartbeat good. They let me bring a VHS tape and they taped the ultrasound on it.

I am on 1cc of the progesterone and the suppositories but they have never checked my progesterone level once!!!

Hi Everyone.

Hope it's o.k. to join you ladies. Kholtan (Kimberly) invited me to join the 'other' side. I only had my 2nd beta today which was 159. My 1st beta was 16 at 7dpt5dt and today's was 10dpt5dt, so things are looking good. Taking my 3rd and hopefully last beta on Saturday. Not sure when I'll have my u/s yet, hopefully find that out on Saturday. I'm so looking forward to sharing experiences with everyone here who is going through the same thing even if it is m/s and feeling crappy. I'm pretty early, but I do feel very tired every day about 3pm and get up at least 3x a night to pee. Hmmm, maybe I'm tired because I'm up all night peeing! Like so many of you have mentioned, this is all so surreal and I'm almost afraid to say 'I'm pregnant'.

Anyway, I'll catch up on all the pages tomorrow, just wanted to say Hi and thanks for having me.

hugs,
Ange
