First and foremost - I have sent a very sternly worded letter to the creators of this message board RE: Google ads. They are distracting and they advertise inappropriate links on our site.

Second - my a$$ is dragging as I have been wheelbarrowing dirt all over the half acre backyard. The attorney general should NOT be doing this much physical labor.

Third - I miss you girls. Had my parents here this weekend to help with aforementioned projects. Then DH invites a few friends to stay here as well for a little half marathon they ran this morning. I am going to say that I officially think my DH is a manorexic. He started doing triathlons last year and has been running, biking and swimming daily ever since. I hate being the fat lazy one in the relationship, but someone has to do it. Long story short he got this silly "watch" thing that he wears while he trains and races that tracks his average speed and calories as well as countless other unimportant stats. All weekend he told me how many miles we wheeled dirt, etc. I took that to mean I could eat twice as much ice cream tonight. Thought I might need some liquids in case of dehydration, so I made a rootbeer float. Highly recommend one ladies. Really took the edge off. Grouchy amy is gone... for now.

HRH - What is that beta number?? I gots to know. I say keep it a secret as long as you can until it makes people so uncomfortable, they have to ask and then tell them no with an inquisitive look on your face. I love to make people needlessly awkward. It is so worth it in the end.

Angie - You are a super stimmer. I don't think I have ever really felt anything and I have had lots and lots of those suckers. I have had the discomfort afterwards, but not usually right before. For me it was once they did the egg retrieval and the sacs filled with fluid. That was what bothered me. I think you are going to be presently surprised. Tuesday, right? Any new news on the home front? Have you found anything you like that you would like me to call on? Did your flip flops get ruined in that carpet glue?? I say you send ol Dr Stickyfingered dildocam the bill for those...

Sass - Loved it. That is all I can say. I just so enjoy knowing that there are other "fun" families out there and that we aren't alone. I could tell you girls some things about the DH side that would make you girls blush.... When you see the dildocam next?? Did you shirt arrive? Like Fee I was going to ask you about the sizing... I am about 5'1" and around 105lbs but hate things too tight!

Wanna - You spilled the beans! I totally understand... it is so hard to keep it quiet once it happens. It especially will go like wild fire now as you don't want someone important to hear from someone else, etc. When are hearing the heartbeats??

Patie - I saw that you are heading to New York.. When are you going and where are you staying?? I went last year with some girlfriends and we stayed at the W. It was pretty fancy, but such a great NY experience. I put out an email to my girls who took me to find out where we went. We hit some great champagne bar and went to a restaurant down by SOHO where we saw quite a few famous people. It was a great time and two days is NOT enough. I was only there for a weekend and can't wait to go back. If you want some great deals on "trendy" styles you should hit H&M. There is one right there in Manhattan and they have great deals on clothes. Not sure how the prices are in Dubai, but other spots in NYC can be pricey. - ps... congratulations on being "normal"!

Vicky - How did Sanson do today in school? Is he making great progress? Does he graduate soon? Congratulations on the anniversary. Your night out sounded fantastic. I am sorry the natural method didn't work, but the thought of shooting up again has got to get you excited. How many frozen do you have??

Mego - Tell those unfertile punters to send me their baby until they can grow up. That is absolutely mind blowing. You would expect that from fertiles, but someone who had to work so hard to get a child shouldn't even act like that. I am sickened. This reminds me of a short gossip I heard the other day. My girlfriends neighbor just had her second and had her a bit early. She was very excited as she could now begin to smoke again. Oh wait, she smoked while she was pregnant.. just only one or two a day, now she can go full throttle again. Then my girlfriend tells me that she was out at the little bar by our homes and she saw the neighbor in there getting hammered while her 10 day old premature baby was at home. Did I tell you that she was breastfeeding?? What the hell is wrong with people? One day soon I might go postal and start stealing babies. When you see this on the news... I will throw up a sisterhood sign so you will all know I went down for the cause. Fee - fly in to be my council.

Nickster - What do you do that would make you work on the weekends. Quit and I will find you something that is a bit more flexible.

Mel - You out wedding planning this weekend?? What happened to you?

Cocobutter???

Jen???

Did I miss anyone?

Well I am off to prepare my students homework for tomorrow. I got a new one. She has twins. She is in 11th grade. They are 15 mos old. She just turned 17 last week. You girls do the math.

Hi All

OK just got results in apparently they are lovely. Yet again I forgot to ask for specifics. Oh well, I don't need another thing to obsess about. I will be having my first scan next wednesday, I'll be glad when that's over!!! I also forgot to ask if it is OK to get highlights in my hair. It's looking gross at the moment. In my research I have found mixed opinions...anyone have any views? I am prepared to look like a swamp beast if highlights are not safe....

Sass thanks for the sizing information, and I will be looking out for your scan results tomorrow...

Now Angie, the number of times I have kicked myself for not trying to have a baby earlier. I think it took DH and I longer than usual to grow up as well, we travelled, launched careers etc....I got particularly Pi$$ed off because my PCOS is something that really only cropped up quite recently, so yeah i've spent a lot of time being annoyed with myself that I didn't do it sooner. BUT we're all still pretty young in IVF terms so that's what I've tried to hold onto...

Mego, oops sorry Happy 30th....can't remember what I did for mine, obviously wasn't as memorable as Angie's.

Amy, wow that student of yours must warm the cockles of your heart. Now listen. I agree that you should spearhead a campaign of removing "at risk" children from punters. We will relocate them to our house (which we must be about to win soon hey Coco?) and keep them for ourselves. How will you steal them, on your bike in the wicker basket is my suggestion. I hope you are fit enough to outrun the cops. You may need to rope in manorexic husband to be backup. Wish my husband was manorexic. Mine is doing a triathlon in two weeks and I'm scared it may kill him.

As for this manual labor, no no no, that is unseemly for a person of your stature. I hope no-one saw you doing it.

i'm with you on making people feel awkward, obviously being prego has not turned me into a nice person. Oh well one miracle at time.

Well I'd better get off and do some work. Staring at the phone like a psycho takes up a lot of time. I don't think I'll get a pay rise this year, my performance has been woeful. do I care? no.

Hi fee - well done on your lovely beta - as long as it was lovely that's all that matters.

Re dying hair - there has been a bit of discussion on the boards on this in the past - a hairdresser 's opinion was it was quite safe - apparently products have come along way and the amount used is miniscule - but I guess check with your clinic and see what they say.

In fact I did mine yesterday - I was sick of looking like a swamp beast (one that was going grey as well) and thought if these follies can't handle a bit of red chestnut on my head then there's no hope that they'll ever do anything so may as well cheer myself up and spruce up my image!

Hello ladies....

well... HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO U....HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO U...HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MEGO....HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO UUUUUU.....hip hip hurray...hip hip hurray....
wishing you the best lovely lady....

Amy...your husband is a sporty...quite an inspiration...i always admire people who actually do sports... I am a lazy lazy person! i tried yoga for couple of month but then stoped... and still zero activity!!! well time will come. I am goint to NY sometime between April 4 and 6... I still dont have the flight details... But i am soooo excited... As for shopping we have H&M in Dubai but i guess they'd have nicer things there... and we do have pricy stuff here....

Vicky, sorry about the AF... but as u said finally u'd get to cycle!!! and what about those ads... I mean they are intruders... i say they deserve the Punter award....

Fee... i hear ya sista... DHs can get too dependent! i know mine does... i have to run all the errands for the house...and whenever he does something... its like WOW... but that's our motherly nature...we spoil them! but i guess they deserve it...however now its time for him to take care of u and junior
Any updates on the beta results?

Sassy...good luck for your us today...hope all would be great!!!

Wanna... I am glad u told people... i know it get tricky to when is the right time to tell... but eventually they will know and for parents its like WOHOO.... i always dream of that moment... and ur right its gonna spread so fast!!

Angie how are things with you? i like your philosophical mood... quite deep :) i can understand what ur feeling its not easy...but we r here for ya...I dont think i will cycle before may because of so many pending things in my life .... need to get done with some things before concentrating on the cycle!!!

nickster why are u working the whole weekend? in which field are you??? hope it went well though! hugs

Hello Jenn Coco Melissa.... where are you???? come come out wherever you are.....

HRH - I did highlight my hair when I was pregnant with J. Don't think I did first trimester, but I think that was due to it being in the summer and not getting paid as I am a teacher. I have heard it is safe though and not horribly harmful to anything. I do have low standards now as I watch all my students pop their kids out eating crap food and I am sure they don't care if they dye their hair. Not sure how smart their little bundles of dna are, but... you and DH are bright and will be able to overcome any slight damage done by some Clairol. The royalty can't go around looking slovenly as it will get people to start questioning - could potentially lead to them figuring out your secret before you have officially made them feel like asses. No one ever said you had to be nice to be pregnant.
Now does "lovely" betas = twins??

Angie - Have you had to order more drugs to maintain this super stim cycle? I was thinking you should phone the drug company and ask to be sponsored. We could put little labels and logos on your bike and car as well as your clothing.

Patie - If you already have an H&M then you will just have to hit Barneys and Saks and pay the prices for exclusive fashion. You are worth it.

Great ideas Fee on the bike. If I steal whilst on the bike I can throw them easily in the baskets and no one would suspect a thing. DH can be prepared for the footrace if need be. He did run the 13miles today in about an hour and a half. I will have him practice more tomorrow.

night night.

Ok those ads are really bugging me! WTF about the "due in t-shirts" - are they serious? - I can safely say that even if I only got preggers after 15 ivf attempts, I would never wear a "due in t-shirt" . I meant there is so much stylish maternity wear out there and sistas of the blue stilettos do not wear "due in t-shirts"

I accidentally clicked on the link by the way!

oh ange - my punter friend that is having her third... wears a "due in spring" tee. perfect.

You hear that girls??? NO "DUE IN" TEES. Mego, Wanna, Fee - stay away from those...

ps.. don't click the links. that is how the message board makes their money. we can't support them after I sent them a threatening email.

Hello ladies.... i hate those ads... please google people can u remove them!!!

anyway... i have to confess that i am a bad sista... i lost the details of our tshirt link  ... i want to order mine since some time now and everytime something comes up... Sass do u have the link w the login and pass... i went through most of the thread's pages and couldnt find it! :(

well today i had some bad news... my friend's father died in lebanon 12 days ago... she told me today and i was in shock... the poor thing! he was a healthy person but he had a heart attack and did an open heart operation and everything went well then he caught a virus from the hospital and had a very bad infection and went to a coma for 10 days... then died... I am sorry for the sad story but i am still in shock... and this family went through a lot already!
Sass ur a dr ...in that case who's fault is it??? i know u dont have insights on it but he recovered from the operation i mean the hospital is the best in town and its difficult to sew them! although they deserve it!

i feel so bad

hugs to all

Angie—I’m sorry babe. I can’t remember what it felt like when my follies were that size. I do remember felling bloated and heavy in my lower abdomen area. It was not comfortable at all. Not sure exactly when I started feeling it but I did feel it throughout the stimming.

Meg—Happy Birthday!!!!!!! :P Thanks for the story. Makes me feel like I have no right to complain. lol Yup, did it ever snowball. Told family on Saturday and told friends last night. All my friends basically knew anyway. I wouldn’t confirm it but they kept asking and hinting around. I decided to take everyone out of their misery. lol Basically all of them said…”I knew it”. lol :P Ok, now that couple sound like complete idiots. First of all, why would she have a problem with weight gain or stopping smoking with IVF?!?!? Hello, those are things that must (or should) happen when you get pregnant anyway!!!!!!!!! So what makes them think they can manage a 2 week old with a hangover? That was not responsible at all. That poor baby. Why dont you go get the baby and practice until yours gets here. Doesn't sound like they would miss the baby too much.

Vicky—Not sure whether to say congratulations or I’m sorry. lol But anyway, now we have your FET to look forward to. Isn’t that crazy how I said “we”. It amazes me how we all have become such an integral part of each others lives. I can’t wait to come in here everyday and find out what’s going on with you ladies. It’s like it’s happening to me. lol BTW…I did notice the advertisements. At first I thought something was wrong with my computer. But, WTH…guess someone has to get paid.

Fi—What zodiac sign is your DH. He sounds like my DH’s long lost twin. lol I feel like a ***** every now and then. Mostly to DH which is so unfair to him. But hey, it’s par for the course. lol I’m having the pulling and twinges here and there but then they go away. Can’t wait until Friday so I can see what’s really going on in there.

Sassy—Loved your PM rant. But sucks that you have to go thru that. Someone needs to put a stop to it, pronto.

Amy---ohhhh, you must have been reading my mind. I told DH yesterday that I wanted a rootbeer float or a coke float. Hell, any kind of float would work. We have an A&W here. I might have to go there on the way home and pick up a rootbeer float and some chili fries. As far as your student….WTH??? I’m at a loss for words. As far as baby-napping. Just let me know the time and place.

Patie—I’m lazy too. Why am I so proud about that? My activity level is null and void. Which is a really bad thing. I use to work out a lot before I got married. I guess now I figure, what’s the point. Although I always told myself I would not be the wife that let herself go. I am going to try to walk while pregnant. I’m sure the puppy will enjoy that as now he only gets to run around the front yard. Sorry to hear about your friends dad. That is the worst. I’d also like to know who’s fault it is. Makes you afraid to go to the hospital. I just saw something on TV about a woman who went into the hospital to give birth. While at the hospital she caught an infection and passed it to her newborn and the baby almost died. I guess you just never know. But the good thing is the hospitals help more than they hurt!

Where is everyone else?

Yup, we caved and told mostly everyone. Our close family and friends. I’ll just assume we’ll tell everyone else later…if there is anyone left. lol So now these little ones have to stay strong for the long haul. There are a lot of people counting on us.

P.S. These ads are annoying.

You read that Patie's fish died (a fish that you have never met) and you cry!!

Yep, I cried. So sorry for your loss, Patie....What a crap thing to happen.

Don't have time to post anything else--My mom and sister are here for a surprise visit on my birthday, so we're going to go stuff our faces and shop!

I will catch up later

PS-Those ads blow!!!!!!

I'm back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't know if I mentioned, but the 80's party this weekend was out of town. We just moved, so when we want to have fun with friends we have to drive 5 hours! We left Friday early morn. and were busy, busy, busy!!!!

Ok- Patie, I am so sorry about Fayssal. What a horrible thing to come home to. Will you get another friend for missy??

Wanna- congrats on telling everyone! And the BIG beta!!! how exciting, can't wait to see how many!

Vicky- congrats on rolling on with the FET!! and your 4 year anniversary! DH and I are going on 6 years. Doesn't it go by fast?

Meg- HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Have a great day with sis and mom!

Sassy- I missed the rant, sorry. And like Patie I have lost the link to the t-shirt. I promise to order it pronto if you retell the link!!

Angie- I don't know what to say. I hope you get to EC soon and there are a ton of great eggs!

Amy- I HATE manual labor!! We redid our front flower beds a couple of weeks ago and they look great but the work was hard. Now we have to do the back yard. I will be out of town again next weekend and I am dripping hints to DH that it would be great if I came home and the back yard was done! I don't think it will happen.

I know I missed some of you! I hope you had a great weekend!

Well, I bowled a 37 Thursday night. I have never been so ashamed of my lack of sportiness. I lost big time, what can i say I bowl like I golf, I like to keep the score low! We had fun though, that is all that matters.

The party was great!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Everyone should have one! We didn't get to bed until 3:30 am. With the time change that was very early!!! I need to figure out a way to get pics to you. DH puts ours on a photo site and if you pm me emails I can invite you to the site and you can view pics. We had a pee wee herman complete with red bike, lots of girls in dresses and leggings, a few mullet wigs, and some men in SHORT shorts!!! We had a DJ and kareoke (don't know how to spell that). FUN! Can't wait till next year!
Jenn

Forgot to say the google ads have got to go!!

New ticker: I'm going home again this weekend for an all girls sleep over. I'm going to check the boards this time at my parents house so I'm not so behind when i get back!!!. I felt like a very BAD sista this weekend. When we stay with the out-laws (which is where we were this weekend) i can't log on. They have dial up and know nothing of our fertility ventures. DH wants to keep that on the down low with his fam. They drive us CRAZY with just the fact that they know we have been ttc for almost 4 years!

Patie - May fassyal rest in peace and may you soon find another suitable companion for Missy. We have gone through SEVERAL aquatic frogs in the past few months, so I decided that I was the Angel of Death at Petsmart and told my DS that we just couldn't kill anymore for awhile.

Jenn - The party sounds fabulous. Did they serve Tab and wine coolers?? Man I love a good theme.

Mego - Have a great day. What a fun way to celebrate. I would love to go and stuff my face!

Wanna - HIGHLY recommend the A&W as they put in their creamy softserve ice cream... that combination with the rootbeer is unbeatable. The creamy goodness left at the bottom is pure heaven.

How is everyone else doing? I am not adjusting well to the time change.
