Champa
I am very sorry, but like you said, this is not the end of it. You seem to be so strong and positive and that's so important. I always told myself too that I will be enjoying everything in life, single life, married life without kids, the pregnancy and then the married life with kids. Everything has its happy moments and we have to concentrate on those and enjoy them all.
We will be here for you when your next cycle starts in two months!

Hello everyone i have been very busy and also had some internet connection problems so i'm just catching up.
Champa as everyone else has said we are all sad for you but please enjoy your break and keep the spirit.........your day will come...

Well i had my big ultrasound last week and I found out that my twins are both boys..........We are so excited and now we can begin to think of names and plan the nursery....Just waiting on my hubby to get home from overseas..........I return to the doctor next week and i will be going every two weeks from there i believe........ I was told they would probably not let me go past 37 weeks so my aug 8th due date just became mid to late july assuming i dont have any preterm conditions....

Hope everything is going well for everyone else and again was so sad for champa.........

Imsb122003 --- Congratulations on TWIN BOYS! How exciting! It is so much fun to plan the nursery! We already painted the nursery this weekend. We did a very light blue with a white strip left for pink and blue designs. It looks very nice. My beddings will be the same except one is in pink and one is in blue. We found a set that comes in both versions and it is so beautiful!
You can start shopping now! The boys will look so cute wearing the same outfits! My due date was moved as well, since they say the full term for twins is 37-38 weeks. So instead of July 23rd they made it July 7th (07/07/07 - how funny!). My husbands' b-day is July 8, so their birthdays will be very close.

Girls, everything is going well with my pregnancy and I have another ultrasound tomorrow and then another one on Tuesday. I cannot wait to see the babies again, they are moving and kicking a lot now, especially before I go to sleep. It all started last week. I can even tell which one is moving, since the boy is at the bottom and the girl is above him. Sometimes they are kicking each other, I think. Everything became so real once I started feeling the movements.

Lola your nursery sounds like it is going to be very precious... I am very excited i've been gathering ideas and my husband *deployed* is also coming up with his ideas of nursery and names and then when he returns we are going to figure it out together..........

I started within the last two weeks to feel little feelings such as someone flicked you with a finger and was told that was them but could not really make out anymore than that....i still get those feelings everynow. I found out on my ultrasound that both babies heads were down and feet up ...In the last couple days i've had some really wierd feelings under my right rib cage that actually were really bothering me..very strange feelings and i have come to the conclusion that it is maybe one of the babies feet because it kind of feels like worms crawling around in there sometimes...strange analysis i know and i'm not positive but ask a few moms at work and they said that was probably what it was.........
It does make it more real to start to feel and know they are in there and i'm reading that at this stage 19 weeks they should be able to hear my voice now so I have also began to talk to them.......along with catching myself when i say things i shouldnt thinking ooh i dont want them to hear me say that.........................:)

I would love to hear other moms to be comments on the feelings they are feeling ....and if they are talking or listening to certain music ......

Hi everyone,

I had my ultrasound yesterday and it is definately a baby girl! The tech was saying that she has already developed some of her personality. When the tech wanted her to move, she wouldn't, she moved when she wanted to and when she did, she really was moving. The tech said that she appears to be stubborn because she moved on her own time. My DH starting laughing because he says that about me all the time. Already she has a part of each of us, my stubborness and his level of activity.

According to the doctor, everything looked great, but wanted to mention something that he saw. Apparently, the baby has a bright spot on her heart, which sometimes is an indication of down syndrome. My risk based on mybloodwork and 13 week ultrasound is extremely low. He isn't concerned and is not recommending a follow up. He also told us not to be concerned either. :?

I felt movement for the first time last Saturday. Now that I am aware of what it feels like, I feel her quite a bit. It is the coolest feeling! I listen to mediative music in the car and at night and we read to her a couple nights a week!

Now that we know for sure that it is a girl, it's time to think about the nursey. I would love to do a bunny themed nursey, but havent been able to find a bedding set that I really like. The search continues....

I hope that everyone is doing well. Take care!

Yesterday, I woke up with what I thought was the start of the flu - achey, tired, low fever.....I rested all day, lots of fluids, etc. This morning I woke up feeling better. Great, huh? I thought so, but did think it was strange to have a flu come and go so quickly.

Well, then I remembered that I think I did something really dumb on Saturday afternoon. Some friends (really DH's business associates) just moved here from Mexico and had a house warming party. I ate something called "panela"....which this morning I researched and found out is a soft Mexican cheese and one of the #1 cheeses likely to cause Listeria! What an idiot I am....

I'm in a panic at the moment, reading about the symptoms, which often are like a mild-flu for the Mom. But, for the baby it can cause infection and even death of the baby. I can't believe I've put my baby in harm's way. I've just paged my OB and am hoping he calls me back soon to find out what to do. I'm just beside myself.

Please keep us in your prayers.

Hi Suzhan,

I'm sorry to hear about what happened. Luckily, the you are far along, and everything should be okay. Ask your dr. to do some bloodwork to rule out an infection. Hope everything is okay.

Suzhan,

Hope your doctor called back by now. Your second trimester is the safest so your baby is probably protected. Lysteria is rare to get and I am not sure symtoms hit that fast. I knew someone who had a friend who got it and it caused labor immediatly. They said that was common. I am not trying to scare you but I am thinking if you have it you would know from those kind of things. In the meantime I will send good thoughts.

Glad to hear everyone doing so well and feeling babies kicking. I just had my babyshower this weekend and now am prepared if baby comes at any time. Only four more weeks and counting. I am so big and if one more person asks if I am having twins/triplets I might scream!!!

Hi All - I know it's been awhile but I just needed some time. Exciting things happening for you girls!

Champa - I am so with you girl! I feel for you and I too try to stay positive. Atleast in front of everyone else that is. Inside it still just plain stinks! But, as they all say OUR TIME WILL COME!!!!!

As for me, I am now 9 days late with my period. I have taken 2 hpt tests and both came back neg. So, I am not holding out much hope. But, I kind of giggle on the inside thinking after all of this medical stuff not working and we end up getting pregnant on our own! But, looks like that's not the case. So, once af starts I can start my next round with IVF. I will keep you posted and as ALWAYS you are all in my thoughts and prayers!
