Well done Sassy - go girl - good number there. I am so glad I was in wondrous oblivion before all that other stuff went on. All I remember was talking to the nurse about some socks I had bought in NZ which are made partially of possum fur (acceptable over there as possums are a big pest) and then I drifted into la la land. You are so brave to have been conscious thru all that - the things we do!

Well ET today for me - as I said no fart report - instead they prefer to just tell you how many are good enough to freeze. So i had 1 X 4 cell grade 1 transferred and 3 will be frozen - I think they were grade 2's - to be honest I can't remember.

Anyway I was happy with 3 frosties as we still have 3 from last time - so I am hoping we can build some kind of family with 6 of 'em in waiting....fingers crossed no more EC for me as I reach the ripe old age of 38 tomorrow. :?

Phew! Relieved it's over - let the 2ww begin!

Angie sweets....u had a prosperous day today... figures are very good... I hope everything will be fine... as i always tell the ladies... we are here to entertain u during the 2ww... we are all here for you!

Hugs.... and fo a laugh my sis sent me this joke... (hope it wont be censored...)

A beautiful woman went to the gynecologist. The doctor took one look at the woman and all his professionalism flew out the window. He immediately
told her to get undressed.

After she disrobed the doctor began to stroke her thigh. While Doing so he asked her,
"Do you know what I am doing?"

"Yes," she replied, "You are checking for abrasions or
Dermatological abnormalities."

"That's right," said the doctor. He then began to fondle her Breasts.
"Do you know what I am doing now?"
he asked.

"Yes," she said, "You are checking for lumps which might indicate Breast cancer."

"Correct," replied the shady doctor. Finally, he mounted his Patient and started having sexual intercourse with her. He asked,
"Do you know what I am doing now?"

"Yes," she said, "You're getting herpes: which is why I came here in the first place."

Good Morning, Friends!

Sassy and Ange – Way to go! I am so happy for you. Happy for you! Happy for you! Amy, way to go on beating Goliath, girl!

All, thanks for turning a negative into a positive on this censorship business. I felt unwell after discovering that my words had been deleted and the rest of my post crippled, rendered illogical by the censor. I have NEVER been censored (I can barely stand being edited) and I was dumbstruck by (His? Her? Their?) audacity to decide what was proper to post and what was not. (Heck, I am the one who lives in the heart of Puritan New England, Hester Pryne’s old neighborhood, for Pete’s sake. I thought that this was a network of global ideas.) I wonder if they had a meeting about my post. Perhaps they printed it out, passed it around, discussed it, voted, had coffee, had a laugh, hit “highlight” and then “delete.” They probably said, let’s put a flag on Coco, keep an eye out for that one. (BTW, if I disappear, or we get split up, let’s all meet at Sassy’s blog and reorganize.)

It is funny, though, when you think about it. Someone somewhere reads our posts and decides on a case by case basis what is relevant, proper, immoral, too risqué to post here. For example, apparently it is OK for us to discuss family, movies, literature, discharge, smelly fingers, dildocams, wildcats, Dream Homes, but not *********. (I’ll save them the trouble of a repeat edit.) And why is that? I used no curse words that I recall (certainly none that haven’t already been given a pass by the censors.) So, the censorship was a prior restraint on subject matter. I understand that this is a private site and I am here at the pleasure of my hosts, but I also pay to be here; I am forced to see the ads they sell to sponsor their site. It is a symbiotic relationship. They introduce me to you guys, I read their ads. But apparently, the risk of my post offending someone outweighed the benefit our Sisterhood roosting at this site; they took a chance that censorship wouldn’t scoot us away. And it might not. But it might.

Amy, I LOVE the idea of going off grid onto our own site. I know there are silent lurkers who will join us if allowed. My DH and I were ruminating about how many lurkers there might be. If there are 10 of us who post, what do you think? A couple hundred thousand lurkers? Some of them undoubtedly are cool, hip chicks who would be rockin’ Sistas. Anyway, let me know where to send the check.

In other news. We have suffered a minor set back: I did not win the Dream Home. And I don’t think that Meg did either (unless she is, in fact, a 60 year old man who lives in Tennessee.)

I really tried, you guys. I am sorry that I did not deliver. Ever onward, I will buy a PowerBall ticket tonight and qualify us to win $190 million on Wednesday.

Patie, Loved the joke! HRH Fee, Vicki, Megs, Jenn, Mel, Nickster, how are you?

Hi Ladies,

Sorry I have been MIA all weekend. Had a pretty busy weekend. Saturday slept half the day, it felt so wonderful. Then went to a pampered chef party where they make food and sell over priced kitchen gadgets. Although some are cute and fun. I did purchase a few. I’m such a sucker! Then on Sunday, church and my quarterly financial meeting with two of my friends. We get together every three months to discuss finances and investments, etc. This time we are focusing on creating a will and a trust. Those sisters that are lawyers I might need some help here. We did a bunch of research online about wills vs. trusts and the differences. Still can’t figure it out but looks like we are going to do both. One of my friends is a Suze Orman fanatic so whatever she says goes.

Amy—meeting with dildo-cat is tomorrow at noon. I’ll probably change my ticker tomorrow after my appointment. I need to find out exactly how far along I am. RE tried to explain it at last visit but I wasn’t paying much attention. I have begun to realize that I have a very short attention span now. BTW…love Vegas but what’s DMB? I love the idea of having our own website!

Vicky—Damn, I thought I was going to have to put out a missing person’s report on you. Doesn’t your job know that you have better things to do (like talk to us) instead of working. WTH??? How selfish of them?!?! Good Luck on your saline u/s. I think I’ve had that one done before. How dare they discriminate against Sanson like that! I think this calls for higher action. Don’t they know who they are messing with. My Goddog should not have to deal with such behavior. What Sanson wants..Sanson gets.

Angie—You got a lot going on there babe! House, eggs, and baby on the way. Thinking positive here. So, tell us all about your new living quarters. Is there a guest room for the twins and I?

Sassy—WOOOOHOOO!! Glad to hear your eggs are over achievers! I can’t stop laughing about your farts! I love the idea! I too have suffered from a bout of toxious gaseous while going thru IVF and it seems to be even worse now. Sad thing is I keep blaming it on my little babies. I know…TMI

Fi—Hmm, not sure about the two scorpios but it is looking that way. Sorry to hear your little brother is giving you a hard time. How old is he?

Patie—Sorry to hear about Missy. she will truly be missed. Maybe she was so heartbroken over Fassyal’s death. She couldn’t bare to go one. Sorry to hear the skinny a$$ models didn’t show up. Thay sucks. Could they have been to busy with their fingers down their throats in the toilet?? Did anyone call to apologize? Give a legit reason for standing you up? That joke was ph@cking hilarious!

Coco—Loved your mini rant about the censorship! I totally agree. We need to have our own site where we can say whatever the hell we want. Where do I sign up? Sorry to hear that I missed the porno references. Dang, I miss all the fun. Yeah, so much for the first amendment but we have to be pestered with these stupid ads every damn day.

Meg--How are you? Is the 2nd trimester much different than first?

Mel--Are you somewhere eating pies? Tell us about this contest? That was you wasn't it? I'm so far behind.

Jen--Hello?

Hello to everyone else. I feel like I left a few out.

As far as me. Feeling very tired and worn out. Although this was happening way before the twins came on board. I am just not a Monday person at all. I hate coming back to work after a nice weekend. I am not motivated at all. I have work to do but I am not in the mood at all. ARGH….Why do I have to work. Coco if you win the powerball , can we split it?

First off on the EC’s!!!! Yippppeeeee!!! 13 and 11, that totally rocks!!!! I am so excited for you guys! You totally made my Monday!!!

The house/Home Improvement/Renovation project sounds amazing! DH (John) and I just built a house, and I totally know what you are having to deal with! And at the same time we were renovating our Condo for sale… so any questions just let me know!

Coco, your post was AWESOME – I cannot believe you got totally sensored!

Fee – How are you doing, the discharge – is it making itself scarce?

Wanna – How are you feeling? Any more news on the sacs – that’s plural, incase you didn’t notice!

There was a lot more I wanted to post, but I am doing this from memory!

As for me, the pie thing… okay so this is big news, so I hope you are sitting down… I entered a recipe into the National Pie Association, they have a contest every year on the Food Network (the contest is in April, but it airs in November) so I entered this recipe “Cookie Dough Pie” and it got accepted! So now I can make more pies if I wanna… so I am working on perfecting Cream Puff pie with a Toasted Pecan crust, it seems like it’s coming along well! I am excited about it! It’s a whole weekend thing, so you can make your pie there if you’d like, but I think that’s too much pressure, so I am going to drop it off already made. I am really excited about this!!! And it’s April 20th so keep your figures crossed!

But speaking of eating contests, I was in a Burrito eating contest last year, and it was pretty exciting… I was gonna win, but then I got DQ’d… with the last bite, I lost my burrito’s , if you know what I mean.

We had a crazy busy weekend! We went out to dinner with some friends on Friday, we never get to go out with just them because they have a 2 year old, and the only baby sitter they just me Moi! So it was nice to hang out with them, and chat adult conversation! And Saturday I baked, and got ready for the Pie contest which is in April (the 20th-22nd) and the pie was good, but not over the top amazing! So I need to try again, than we left at 3PM for Jax, because we had 5PM dinner reservations, and dinner was AMAZING! Absolutely incredible! The Salmon tartar was delish, the dinner was great the wine was perfect! It was all in all, a great dinner, than we left for the theater, and got there The Lion King was GREAT! It was really an incredible show! And then the two-hour drive home was long, but that was fine, because we were still in awe of the show :) Now we want to go and see Mama Mia! :)

Hey ladies,

Sassy and Angie great job on the retrieval!!! Good luck today Angie, how come they don't give you a fart report? My clinic forgot to call me and I nearly went crazy, I tracked down the embie sitter and made him tell me.

Mel- cookie dough pie??? If my DH even knew that I was chatting with someone who made that glorious dish he would faint. He LOVES cookie dough and anything that has to do with cookie dough. I have to make cookies when he is not around. He can eat a roll of dough faster than anyone I have ever seen. Just squeezes it right into his mouth! And never gains a pound of course. Anyway congrats on your pie!

Wanna- good luck tomorrow!

Patie- so sorry about Missy. Will you get another?

amy- What is DMB? To me it is Dave Matthews Band, my favorite.

Our own website sounds fun. I gotta go. Hair appt. in 30 minutes. Have a great day! Will write more later!
Jenn

Wow, so much to catch up on! I have been lurking, just not posting. Feeling very unsisterlike and quiet. Don't know why. I am feeling a little depressed--I thought that I would get into the 2nd trimester (even by 1 day) and magically start feeling better. Let me tell you, it isn't happening. I have been having daily headaches on top of the nauseau--you know the headaches you get after drinking a 12 pack of cheap beer and smoking a pack of cigerettes--that's what I'm talking about. Grrrrr. Plus, to top it off I have had zero energy to work out so I'm a fat (not fat in a cute, pregnant way mind you) freaking frog right now. Grrrr again. Okay, I know I have a lot of nerver complaining---I'm soooo sorry. But I just felt the need to get that off of my (huge, up two bra sizes) chest. Okay--on to fun things:

Coco--Yes, I am an old man from Tennessee! Ha, ha. I've been getting my jollies off reading about all of you and your dildocams. Ewwwwww---what if someone really does? That's kind of a scary thought! I'm sorry you didn't win the house, but am 100% behind you on the lottery. In fact, just yesterday I was asking everyone I know what kind of car they want so when I win the powerball, I can give everyone their dream cars. Wouldn't that be fun?

Sassy---Congrats on the retreival! I'm proud of you for continuing to breath...and it sounds like you did a great job preparing for it. I have got to get some blue sparkely nail polish--I have a dr's appointment on Weds! Don't know if I'll be getting naked or not (kind of hope so as it has been 2 whole weeks!!!!!!!) but I suppose I should be prepared.

Angie--Congrats on the transfer. And so begins the favorite 2ww. Anything we can do to help speed it along, just let us know! When do you move into the new house?

Patie--Great joke. You always so seem positive and happy. Is that how you are in "real life"? Or are you really a 60 year old man getting your jollies off? I'm on to you...

Melissa--I would be more than happy to taste test any pies---although I'm not sure that I'm the best audience as I pretty much eat anything in front of my face right now. (See above fat frog reference) Anyway, I'm very envious of your baking skills! How cool. And the burrito incident sound very funny!

Okay, I know I'm missing lots of you, but I'm beat. It's hard work catching up when you're a slacker like me! We got a Nintendo Wii yesterday, and man oh man, my whole body is sore from playing Tennis and Golf and Bowling and Boxing and Baseball etc. It's a ton of fun though and now I have a wee of my own just like Sassy's Dh!

Hope you all have/had a good Monday!

Hi ladies,
Lurking during lunch. :-)

Mel--Where did you see the Lion King? Was it the play? I think DH and I might drive up to NYC to see it this summer. I have heard great things about it!

Meg--I feel the way you do now. Except I dont want to eat everything in front of my face. I dont want to eat hardly anything. I have SERIOUS food adversion. Although I could probably force myself to eat one of Mel's pies. Sorry you're not feeling like the hot sexy mama we all know you are...or the 60 year old man. Hey, whatever works for you. :-) If you weren't in your second trimester I might believe that 60 year old man thing. :-)

Jen--Have fun at hair appointment. I have one tomorrow. My hair is disgusting right now. So unsisterhood of me. :-(

Coco--Wooohooo!!! That's great to know about the powerball. I dont need much. Just enough to pay off my house, cars, put the twins thru college. Not much at all.

(and as much as I am sure you don't want to eat, my sister didn't either, it will go away... promise!!! But you need to eat protein lots and lots of protein, meat, cheese, whatever... but eat the protein!!!0 It's hard, I know... my sister had a hard time with it too...

***WARNING: totally self-absorbed post***

Now, i have much to say to you guys, and you have all been making me smile... but at this point i don't have the energy to address all that. Please forgive me, this is very un-sister-like of me.

My fert report sucks. It just does. Ain't nothin' no one will do about it. Out of 11 retrieved... only 3 ferts. Now, please, don't post that i should be happy about it... that it only takes one... that 3 is great. I just can't take it right now. 3 would be great for someone with decent embryo qualtiy. The fact is, 3 isn't great for me. Out of 21 ferts over 3 cycles, we have had no viable embryos. My best chance of getting preg was to have lots of ferts over my mega-cycle.

RE consulted w/embryologist about it, and they are thinking that our underlying problem is probably sperm quality (they had very few nl sperm to pick from for ICSI this time, and our embryos usually start fragging around day 4.... consistent w/sperm problems). But in the end, it really doesn't matter if it is the egg or sperm, does it? Dh has no interest in DS, DE or adoption. Unless he miraculously changes his mind, IVF with our own stuff is our only chance for a child. I mean... talk about beating my head against a brick wall...

Usually i am dying to start another cycle. Now I'm thinking, maybe i need a break before #5. What i do know for sure is that i need sushi. Will sleep on it for a few days and then decide about when to cycle.. Watch out, i am feeling the need to travel again... especially down under... Fee or Angie... don't be surprised if i show up on one of your porches in the next wk! ).

Sorry 'bout all this. I am going to go get some cheese to go with my whine. Will send you all personal "shout outs" tomorrow.

Sass, I'm so sorry about your disappointment, it's bloody not fair. I'm really pissed off on your behalf. I say go and gorge on whatever you like. You are a resilient and brave person, you will get past this, and you know that you are able to produce more farts than that! I guess some cycles suck and some don't. This is a suck a$$ one for sure. Sorry for my lack of eloquence I do struggle to say meaningful things in times of crisis. Fee
