First off on the EC’s!!!! Yippppeeeee!!! 13 and 11, that totally rocks!!!! I am so excited for you guys! You totally made my Monday!!!
The house/Home Improvement/Renovation project sounds amazing! DH (John) and I just built a house, and I totally know what you are having to deal with! And at the same time we were renovating our Condo for sale… so any questions just let me know!
Coco, your post was AWESOME – I cannot believe you got totally sensored!
Fee – How are you doing, the discharge – is it making itself scarce?
Wanna – How are you feeling? Any more news on the sacs – that’s plural, incase you didn’t notice!
There was a lot more I wanted to post, but I am doing this from memory!
As for me, the pie thing… okay so this is big news, so I hope you are sitting down… I entered a recipe into the National Pie Association, they have a contest every year on the Food Network (the contest is in April, but it airs in November) so I entered this recipe “Cookie Dough Pie” and it got accepted! So now I can make more pies if I wanna… so I am working on perfecting Cream Puff pie with a Toasted Pecan crust, it seems like it’s coming along well! I am excited about it! It’s a whole weekend thing, so you can make your pie there if you’d like, but I think that’s too much pressure, so I am going to drop it off already made. I am really excited about this!!! And it’s April 20th so keep your figures crossed!
But speaking of eating contests, I was in a Burrito eating contest last year, and it was pretty exciting… I was gonna win, but then I got DQ’d… with the last bite, I lost my burrito’s , if you know what I mean.
We had a crazy busy weekend! We went out to dinner with some friends on Friday, we never get to go out with just them because they have a 2 year old, and the only baby sitter they just me Moi! So it was nice to hang out with them, and chat adult conversation! And Saturday I baked, and got ready for the Pie contest which is in April (the 20th-22nd) and the pie was good, but not over the top amazing! So I need to try again, than we left at 3PM for Jax, because we had 5PM dinner reservations, and dinner was AMAZING! Absolutely incredible! The Salmon tartar was delish, the dinner was great the wine was perfect! It was all in all, a great dinner, than we left for the theater, and got there The Lion King was GREAT! It was really an incredible show! And then the two-hour drive home was long, but that was fine, because we were still in awe of the show

Now we want to go and see Mama Mia!
