Jeck- it is always a pleasure to hear from you.... Here's wishing you a wonderful trip to see your beautiful son. That is a great idea about the video camera, I hope it works out for you.... but like you said either way it will be fine. Take some new pictures of your little man and post them if you can.... we'd all love to see him!
Colleen- Our appointment last night was very good... I only gained 2 pounds in 2 weeks (so I'm uo to a total of 18 pounds so far). Aubrey's heartbeat is still very strong and she is actually already in the down position. We're hoping she stays that way..... my next OB Appointment is April 17th. After that appointment we'll then go in for another ultrasound. I can't wait.... only 9 1/2 more weeks to go till I can see my precious little girl. Well my fingers are crossed for you that your pee test results come out perfect. Sorry to hear that your sister is not thinking of you or the baby... she should be a little bit more flexible. Besides your going to miss the actual wedding in Vegas the least she could do is plan the reception around you... hopefully everything works out for you.
Well I hope everyone else is doing well and taking care of their bellies & babies.....
Jeck..im so glad you found a path in your life that is right for you and you're right Jaden was probably just waiting for you to be his mummy,i wish you much love, and hope your dream is all you dreamt...

colleen--So sorry your sis is being a pain. She sounds like mine! Have you talked to her about the issue? Maybe she's just not thinking? I hope things will work out for you. Good luck on the pee test.
Tasha--I'm glad your appt. went well! Wow, only 18 pounds! You're doing great!
Jeck--Have a great trip! I hope Jaden gives you lots of hugs and kisses when he sees you. He's soooo lucky to have you in his life!
I hope everyone else is well! I just cleaned my house today, and I'm exhausted....I'm going to have to convince DH that yes, a cleaning lady is very necessary right now! Now, if I can just find the money to pay for one...
Hi girls! I hope you all have a happy Easter! Just imagine, next year, we'll have little ones crawling around after Easter eggs!
Well, last night DH got the photos hung up in the nursery! Yeah! So, we're pretty much done with the nursery. [We still have to take care of some safety issues, like plugs, blind cords, etc.] I'd still like to get a glider, but we haven't found one small enough to fit....so, for now, we're going to do without. Now, I can't wait to fill the nursery with all the clothing, toys, etc. that will come at the shower!
I posted some photos on www.photobucket.com (the login is ivfgroup, the password is ivfgroup) I hope you're able to view them! FYI--the photos that are hanging on the wall are black/white photos of grandparents, me and dh, and the babies' two aunts. On the shelf, we'll be putting photos of the twins.
Enjoy the pics!
Happy Friday Girls.... here's wishing you all a wonderful Easter Weekend!!!!
I just found out we're out of here today at 3pm... so I made myself a pedicure appointment (even though it's cold here). Also the baby's room is getting painted as we speak.. I can't wait to go home and take pictures.
Kim- the nursery looks so cute... your little baby's are going to love it!
Hope your all doing well and taking care of your bellies...
Tasha, hope you enjoyed your pedicure, its a nice feeling when we can pamper ourselves, might not have time to do it for a while once our babies arrive!!!
Kim,your nursery is lovely,i showed DP the pics last night and he loved your idea of the pics of yourselves and grandparents,im sure your babies will be very happy there..
Colleen,i hear you on the sleep!!,i always think if im up only once or twice to pee,im lucky,if i dont sleep well im always narky and weepy..
Cowgirl,Nance,Racheal,Ellie, and anyone else i missed,I hope this finds you all well..
As for me,I've had a sore calf for a week now,so at my routine midwife app on Tues i mentioned it to her,she said if it gets worse go see my Doc,so on Thurs,my leg was killing me all day,DP was working late,so i was in the house myself, when i went all funny, couldnt breathe, felt all tingly, like a pins and needle feeling, called my mum who said to get an ambulance,so i was whisked off to hospital, and the consultant thought i had a DVT,had to get treated like it was and that bloody injection to thin the blood was realy sore!! Anyway got a scan and thankfully its not that they think muscular pain of some sort down to the pregnancy, and because my midwife had mentioned DVT,when it hurt on Thursday,i also took a panic attack, hence the couldnt breathe feeling .Ive never ever had an anxiety attack before,so it was scary, but im usually such a strong and confident person,so its threw me a bit. Upshot is rest for a week with small walks once or twice a day to exercise the leg,no standing for prolonged periods. So its Sat,and im just home and i feel all weepy and weak, its so not like me,when i was doing IVF,i honestly thought if i could just get PG,that would be the end of all our worries, but ive now realised you just trade in one set of worries for another! Im sorry for the long rant, but i always feel that if anyone understands, its you ladies,so thanks for "listening"..

Nictor--You poor thing! I'm so sorry you had to go through all that! I'm glad the diagnosis was better than expected though. And hey, enjoy the rest while you can, right? By the way, what is DVT? I've been racking my brain and can't figure it out....
TAke care of yourself, and just read, sleep and watch TV!
Nictor how scary for you, please rest and take it easy. I am pleased it wasn't a DVT. Am i right in thinking DVT is deep vein thrombosis? Relax put your feet up get a good book and enjoy any good Easter films that are on.
HOPE EVERYONE HAS A GREAT EASTER.

Nictor- How scary... however, I'm glad that it wasn't anything too serious. Just remember to rest and take it easy... plus do your exercises. Also keep us posted....
As for the rest of you girls - I hope your all doing well.
As for us we're just hanging around the house today... running some errands. It's way to cold outside to do much... The baby's room got painted yesterday and it looks really good. Now we just have to hang the border and get the furniture delivered and we're all good. I can't wait... pictures to come soon.
Nictor- How scarey for you. I can totally say that if I'd had those symptoms I would have thought the same thing. Glad it wasn't though and that your ok. We always say we would love to sit down and rest, but when its enforced its difficult to enjoy isn't it!
Take it easy
Tasha and Kim- Glad your nurseries are nearly there. very exciting to be at that stage.
I had an appointment last week with the consultant as I asked if I can deliver at my local hospital (5 mins down the road) which has a midwife led unit. The consultant says I can't have baby there as I am classed as high risk. I find this strange as I have already had one pregnancy which resulted in a natural birth. They also said I cannot go overdue and so will have to be induced if I reach 40 weeks. Not so pleased about all this, but who knows what may happen, not worth worrying about yet!
I also have my repeat coloposcopy Tues which I am dreading, but hoping the results will be good so I can relax for a few weeks.
Hope you are enjoying your Easter weekend

Just a quick post to say everything is fine with me. Our scan went really well, baby seems to be doing just fine.
Had a wee scare a couple of days ago, a bit of bleeding but got checked out and the hospital and everything was fine, no reason for the blood and it stopped as quickly as it started. Been trying to take it a bit easy since though, just in case.
Will catch up with you all soon
