Hello lovely ladies!
How was your Easter weekend? I hope you enjoyed some great time either with friends, partner or your family! Mine was okay; we went to my family in Quebec city for a short visit. It was great to see my family but a bit short as usual.
On the IVF side, nothing new except that I got my meds! And surprise; I was prescribed Repronex this time in addition to the Puregon. Apparently, it burns and I'll have 150 units to inject each day; that's two bottles! whoa! I guess he prescribed me that because I was a bit slow to respond during my stimming in my first cycle. Because in the end, we got 14 eggs 100% mature, so... Let's hope it's worth it! So far so good; he did not prescribed fire-for-the-butt meds but I'm not celebrating yet; I'm sure it's coming... lol!
Jenn: so glad you got some money from the taxes refund! And what a lovely way to use it!

So, what did you buy, any luck?

Awwwwwwww I'm so sorry about AF rearing her ugly face just to stick its tongue out and then disappear!

Sure looks like she's here to stay now, though... ack! Sorry you're in so much pain sweetie!

Will you start your BCP tomorrow? I'll be looking forward to hear about your calendar!

Good luck with the meds sweetie... would that mean that you would do your cycle earlier than planned if you do it in May? I think you planned for June, right?
TansRN: nah, of course you're not silly to be excited about your calendar!

As for the intensive-POASing, there are many opinions. I definitely don't want to POAS during this 2ww but that's just me. I really hope we'll have that super-excited BFP post!

And about the snow, well, same here up north! The weather was very December-like these last few days! ew! But I'm sure it will be better. And in about 13 days, I won't care, ha, because I'll be in Egypt! LOL!
Carolyn: Well, it sure sounds like your clinic will keep a super-close eye on you, and that's bound to be reassuring during the tricky times.

Glad you feel well taken care of sweetie! By all means I agree with your consultant. I don't know who that Zita West is, but I'd like to see studies that support that shocking declaration she makes. And well, about the baths, I agree 100% on the overheating risk (hence why I take them cooler), but for the infections, I'm really puzzled. Neither ER nor ET creates a wound that could be infected by bath water! Especially if, as we all know, water doesn't get past the cervix!
My2LnT: WELCOME!

It's so great to see familiar faces! I remember you very well from the Dec/Jan thread! Thank you for sharing your story with us sweetie. It's really sad that you had to go through 2 BFNs in the past... sure makes hope bittersweet for another cycle after that, huh? You went through a lot my dear, and I hope this ride will be smoother and bring you that BFP you're hoping for. That calendar looks fab and I'll add you to the list with great joy!
arizonakiwi: YAY! CONGRATULATIONS on starting your cycle officially! Isn't it exciting?

What a coincidence that it started on the same day! My dear, the way you talk about your DH is very sweet and beautiful. Makes me all warm and fuzzy inside!

They all worry about us, don't they, even if they don't always want to talk about the cycle and babies and all, they do worry about us and hate the fact that we have to go through all this. But those challenges do bring us closer together each time. Did you get your calendar?
jen: awwwww! ugh indeed! So frustrating that they did not find that out earlier!

However, it has the good side to give you quite a big hint about what might have gone wrong last time! I really hope they can manage this with your cycle and give you the best chances!

Keep us posted dear!
souris: WELCOME!

Thanks for sharing your story; you're quite a trooper! I'm so sorry to read about all the things you have been through sweetheart! You really had to wait for this cycle to happen, but I wish that it brings you that BFP we all want!

I fully understand your mixed feelings. It's hard to put the past completely behind you, and having been through a miscarriage really adds to it. But I've heard many stories here of women going through a miscarriage, recovering, trying IVF again and be blessed with a healthy pregnancy, even twins!

Let's hope it happens for you!

Shantala: I'm really worried now... is everything all right?
Ooookay, DH is asleep already, I'll go and join him. Home sweet home!

Take care ladies, and HAPPY EASTER to you all!
