Hello Girls!

I hope everyone had a good weekend. I will try to catch up today, but work is crazy. I finished DS' room and he seems to love it. Now we are discussing moving our little DS to a new room and DH has started clearing the room out so we can paint and what not. We have not told little bit (DS) that we are going to move him, but we got a bunch of baby stuff from our fellow cub scout friends and they are taking over the room and the garage. I also did some moving of furniture this weekend, loads of gardening and tons of laundry. I was able to get caught up with all my chores except for the vacumning because my asthma has been showing its ugly head again. DH is going to do it for me tomorrow since he has an interview today. I am starting my last class before the baby arrives. It ends just three weeks before Makayla's scheduled C/S date of June 13th. I am down to eight weeks and now I am starting to ge nervous. Last night I was so upset I cried for almost an hour telling DH I wasn't sure I could do this any more. He was so good and even went out and got me some of my favorite frozen custard to help cheer me up.

Colleen - I am soooooooooo happy for you! I have been praying for your little one. As for size, I know what you mean. They are still expecting Makayla to be around 9 lbs and I am really worried. My biggest (little bit) was 8 lbs 13 oz and he was three weeks early. They are telling me my uterus has settled down enough they think I will go till 38 weeks. My BP has gone back down to 95/59ish and they are happy with that.

Ellie - Worry not about your nursery. My boys, and Makayla too, spent their first six months in my room so I could see them at all times. You will have plenty of time to finish your construction.

Nictor - I missed you. I was so busy these past four days that when I stopped, I slept (about 16 hours each day!). Stay safe and take care of your little one!

Kim - You are a trooper! You are doing such a good job of caring for those little ones of yours. Keep up the good work and don't worry about the weight, it will all come off!

Angellica - Keep that boy inside! He is in need of more baking. I am glad all turned out well.

Tasha - Time will fly by soon enough. Our little ones will start arriving soon and we will all wish we had more time. I hope you have enjoyed your classes. I think it is between you and Kim as for who goes first and poor Colleen is in that race too.

God Bless you all and keep your little ones safe!

Just thought I would pop in quickly and see how you are all doing, all seems well and quiet I see everyone is getting on with their nursery's, we finished Romans weeks ago and have been really bored! poor Ellie has a blinking house to build yet! you'll get their girl!!! we have ages yet!

I have just had a chuckle! I either have poor eyesight or my baby on my ticker is black! if he is black I want a blinking refund! I am as pale as can be and my DH is definitely white! we have always joked about that when we had ER there was a ethnic couple waiting with us and I have always joked with everyone by saying imagine if!! Some of you may not be aware but here in the UK there was a massive blunder when a white cuple gave birth to a black baby after a mistake in the lab, it turned to high court battles and all sorts...so I am not tempting fate and am going to change my ticker! It has really made me chuckle! but everytyhing has lately I seem to get hysterical fits of laughter all the time over the most stupid things!

Not long till my 4d scan (11th May) we are really excited!

Hope you all d a happy Monday!

Happy Monday Girls.... talk about a crazy day so far.

Colleen- sorry to hear your BP is up again.... however, great news about your pee test! Keep up the good work.... and enjoy this semi-nice weather we're having. Also our baby shower is May 12th... talk about cutting it close!

Kim- glad to hear your shower was good.... now it's time to figure out where to put everything. Also great news about your Glucose Test.... your a rock star!

Ellie- Hello... it's great to hear from you.... also glad to hear things are going well.

Angellica- do you have any pictures of Roman's nursery that you can post? We'd love to see it...

Racheal- you were a busy little bee this past weekend... just make sure you take it easy and don't over do it.

As for us we're doing good... we have our last Childbirth Class tonight.... I'm actually going to miss going to class every Monday night. Plus we have a doctor's appointment tomorrow night. Time for another scare on the scale.... however, I'm excited because we'll get another ultrasound either this week or next week. Also Aubrey's nursery is almost done... the room is painted, furniture has arrived & the border is up. Now all we're waiting on is bedding, wall hangings and final touches. I'll post some pictures on photobucket right now!

As for the rest of you girls... I hope your doing well and rubbing your bellies daily!

Hi Everyone,

I hope you and your little ones are all doing well.

Tasha - It must feel so nice to be just about finished with the nursery. I'm sure it looks beautiful. I know how you feel about the scale. That is the worse part of all this. Last month I gained 10 lbs. I thought I was going to pass out after I heard that. The good thing is that this month I lost two and before that I lost a few because I have had a few bad colds over the last few months and was unable to eat. So my overall weight gain is 19 lbs which I guess is not that horrible. I bet you cant wait for your next ultrasound. See if they will give you pictures to post so we can see.

Colleen - It is great that your glucose test came back with no problems but I am sorry that your BP is up again. Wow, 37 weeks. You are almost there. I can't believe that so soon our babies will be here. Thanks for the advice on the episiotomy. Being a first time mom I have no clue about these things. I hope that it does not come down to that but I'm pretty sure my little one is going to be a bruiser. Both me and my brother were over 9lbs when we were born so I'm thinking I might be in for a big baby. On the other hand my husband was only a little over 6lbs so there is always hope.

Cowgirl - How are you doing? Did you Dr. give you any more ideas on how much longer he thinks you will go?

Tasha - How is that crazy job of yours. I hope you are not getting stuck there too late tonight. When is your next Dr's appointment?

Kim - Try not to worry too much about the antibiotics. I just had to take some also for bronchitis and I'm sure the Dr. would not give them to you unless there was a benefit to it. I loved the glucose drink also. I wish there was someplace I could buy it :D It is great that you passed it. No anemia is great. You are so lucky that you do not have to take those Iron pills. I am so sorry about your friend. That is so devestating. I will keep them in my prayers. How was your grandpa's party. Wow, 95. Those are some good genes you have in your family.

Angellica - I am sorry you had a scare but glad that you and Roman are ok. You must be so excited that your nursery is done. It must feel so real now. Good luck on your 4d scan. Let us know how it goes.

Ellie - It was nice to hear from you. How is your back holding up? I feel bad for you. I have a bad back also and I know how painful it can be. By the end of some days I can hardly move. I bought one of those maternity belts last week. I think it is helping a little. Maybe you can try that.

Jeck - How are you doing? When are you going to see that little one of yours? Take lots of pictures for us.

As for me, I'm doing pretty well. I had a Dr's appointment today and everything is still on track. My BP was fine, no sugar or protein in my urine and I even lost a few lbs. The only thing was that her hearbeat was inthe 160's. The nurse said that is fine but it seems high to me. The last few times it was in the 150's. I'm afraid to google it because I know I will find something that I do not want to see. So I'm going to try to trust that, that is normal and not work myself up into a panic attack. The great news is that I get to go next Weds for an Ultrasound. I am so excited. I have not seen my Lily for over 10 weeks and I'm going crazy to see her again. My shower is on May 6th. I'm excited and can't wait to see all my friends but I am getting anxious because we still have so much work to do in the nursery before we bring the stuff home. Are you all doing the kick counting thing? I started this week and I was a little worried because I don't think that she moves around as much as I thought she would at this point. But my Dr. said as long as I feel her a few times a day that I am ok.

I hope everyone is well.

All my best.

Hello Ladies!

We had an U/S today. Baby A is 2 pounds 9 oz, and Baby b is 2 pounds 13 oz. So they're still right on track (maybe off by a few days, but that's okay!) They just look like big blobs to me now...no room to really see anything. It is reassuring to hear heartbeats, though!

Nance--I'm glad you're doing well! Don't worry about 160. I think the normal range is between 120 and 160. So, you're okay. Plus, the heartbeats fluctuate, just like ours. So, maybe Lilly had just finished a spinning class? STAY OFF GOOGLE. It's bad. Very bad. Your weight sounds great too! Keep up the good work. As for the kick count thing, that was a concern of mine too...but my doc said as long as I can feel similar movement each night, we're doing okay. He said we could drive ourselves crazy counting kicks. Not us, right? :)

Tasha--Can you believe it's your last class already!? Wow...she'll be here before you know it. I'm going to check your photos as soon as I'm done chatting!

Angelica--You make me laugh. My DH and I joke about the "mixup" possibility all the time...we know our RE's lab was good, but it's just one of those things, you never know! We are both Irish/German heritage, so we joke that we'll end up with an Italian baby with beautiful olive skin...that would be a major mix up and not very easy to hide, consdering how pasty DH and I are!

Racheall--You amaze me with all you do! Good luck with little bit's room. TAke it easy!

Have a good night gals! I'll catch you later!

Good Morning Girls....

Nance it's so good to hear from you.... also great to hear that your OB Appointment went well last night. We actually have one tonight. And it looks like we might actually be having an ultrasound next week Wednesday too.... so we'll both have pictures to share. Well your shower is coming up fast.... I can't wait for mine.

Kim- the baby's sound like they are growing perfectly. Lets hope they aren't too big and cause you to much pain..... I'm glad you like the room - now lets just hope Aubrey does too.

Well we had our last class last night... we learned all about changing diapers, burping, bathing, clipping nails, etc. All stuff I knew already, but it was still fun..... I can't wait for her to arrive so we can cuddle & love her!

Here's wishing you all a great day...

hi girls... we are ok today... yesterday on the other hand... YEIKES really bad bad migrane, i hope that none of you have or never will have migranes... it was actually so bad that i ended up having to take some tylenol with codine for it...
well lots to catch up on...

Tasha- the room looks great!! and you classes are done, and US next week and appointment today... wow... lots going on, and lots accompished.. hope that you are able to get out a little today and enjoy this weather... DS and i went for a little walk, and then dug for worms or wormies as he calls them... the joy of boys... some girls too i guess... your shower on the 12th.. how fun are you checking the register to see if people have gotten stuff?? DO NOT FEAR THE SCALE!!! it's ok... i saw a person stand backwards as not to know how much she gained... it was funny/cute...

kim- awesome with the babies.. they are growing so well... cutos to you!!! good for you that you passed the GTT and you are not anemic... do you eat a lot of red meat?? they say with twins there is even more of a chance, and you are doing GREAT... Glad that your shower when well with your gals... how fun, and then trying to figure out where to put everything, and for you two... just imagine that it will never end... i think that i'm still looking at where to put everything...

Rachael-Glad to hear that you got a lot done... we were suposed to paint the boys room, but we didn't get to it... maybe this weekend.. i was so tired all weekend... i hear you on the laundry... it never ends.. how did DH's interview go?? And wow you have a C/S date!! i'm jealous.. we are trying to plan a ton of stuff for the end of may, begining of june, and it's hard not knowing... My DS's b-day is may 30th, and he is afraid that he will not get a party... so we are trying to plan that... and my sister's wedding reception...it's hard not knowing.... Awesome about the BP, is that actually low BP??... wow they say that makayla is going to be 9lbs +.. i know what you mean...

nance-try not to worry about the HB... it does fluctuate daily and could have been very awake... as for kicks... they say that 4 in one hour is good.. we lay down at night (that's our most active time) and any movement, a wiggle, squirm, ect are counted as a kick.. as for the baby size they say that it's close to what you were as a baby... but i do not buy that... I was 6lbs 13oz when i was born, and both of my kids have been much bigger and they were 3.4 and 4 weeks early... you too have an US on wednesday (you'll get to see how big your baby is then), and your shower is just around the corner... hope that the weather storm out that way, has not hit you too bad... how's the job?? did you office close yet??

angellica- good to hear from you... glad to hear that you are done with Romans room... glad to hear that things are well... my DH was always afraid that they would mix up "his stuff" with someone elses... but i do have to say that my two boys look exactly like their daddy..

ellie-glad to hear from you too... glad that things are going well... do not worry about the nursery... you have loads of time, and even after the baby is born, they still can be in your room... glad to hear that you BP is going good, and the GTT in a few weeks... hope that you pass...

well, as i said before we are ok today... yesterday was one of the worst migranes that i've ever had, and i've had them for close to 20 years... today it is so nice outside that i took Caden for a little walk (as not to over do anything) then we sat in the mulch and dug for wormies... his friends... good thing that i'm not girly like that... we for a ton of bugs.. a mommy, a daddy and 3 baby wormies... i'm have a big list of things that i need to get done, but just not in the mood... i did book the cleaners to come on monday...never had cleaners, so it will be interesting.. i feel like i need to clean before they get here (anyone watch the simpsons).. they are doing a deep cleaning, then will do floors and bathrooms every other week, thanks to my MIL!!

well, i hope that everyone is well... take care

Collen - I know what you mean about not really wanting to do all the things on the list. I have been catching myself doing lazy fun things and putting off the not so fun stuff. I also know what you mean about the migraines. I have had a few really bad ones during this pregnancy, but like you I have tylenol with codine to battle them. Still, even with the pain killer, I get wiped out physically. As for bugs and worms, I love sitting out and doing those things with my DSs. In fact, we buy worms every year to "stock" our gardens so we help the plants grow. We also dig them up to take fishing! Enjoy the weather, we are supposed to have nice weather later this week.

Tasha - The room is wonderful. I am sure Audrey will love it. We are all getting close. I am verry excited. DH and I sit at night and converse about what Makayla will look like, act like and sleep like. See, our sons are so different in looks (as are my sister and I) that we have no clue what Makayla will pick up. For example, eye color: my mom and DH have brown eye, my dad and sister have blue eyes, MIL, DS1 and I have green eyes and DS2 has hazel eyes. So Makayla could get any one of those. Any way, right now it is our favorite game at night when the boys go to bed.

Kim - Those babes are going to be porkers by time they get here! They say it is important for them to be a good weight though and the sooner they get to 4+lbs, the better off they will be if born early. Good luck on keeping them tucked in for a while!

Nance - I am glad everything looks good. As for HB, Makayla runs around 160 when she is awake and around 145-150 when she is sleeping. These are all normal and very good ranges. The numbers they do not like to see consistantly are about 100 or less and 180 or more. These are not generally dangerous, but they could suggest underlying problems. So relax and enjoy your little bundle.

As for us, we are doing okay. I had a rough night due to BH most of the night. However, they did not hurt, just were annoying. I am hoping they are a one night thing and they did not cause any opening of the cervix. Regardless, I took it easy and stayed home resting yesterday adnd have canceled my cub scout meeting for tonight, just in case. As for DH, he thinks the interview went well, but no news as of yet. However, we did get a call from the contact at Motorola asking to set up an interview for a position back with them. I am thrilled about that because if he gets back with Motorola, then insurance, vaction and sick time are all guarenteed to be brought back. Plus he keeps his tenure! We just have to wait and see. I am praying hard this all works out!

God Bless all of you!

Colleen- sorry to hear you had a really bad migrane yesterday, but thankfully your doing better today. Well I'm out of here in 26 minutes.... off to the doctor - so I'll get to enjoy the ride there w/ the windows down. Yeah we have lots going on.... and thankfully I stillhave the energy to do it. I'm also thinking about getting a cleaning crew to come in and give the house a really good cleaning before Aubrey arrives... and then having them come back at least once after she's here too. DH is really good at helping out around the house, but I feel bad if he has to do everything..... cook, clean, etc. Yes I keep checking my registry everyday.... so far people have purchased a few things and we've gotten a few gift cards in the mail. I can't wait....

Racheal- sorry you had a rough night last night... hopefully it was just a one night thing! Also good to hear your taking it easy.... you and Makayla need the rest. Well that's great news about DH getting a call from Motorola... I'll keep my fingers crossed for you both.

Well here's wishing everyone a great night... I'm off to the doctor now! Chat w/ you all tomorrow...

Well I'm back from my doctor's appointment and lets just say it wasn't a great appointment. I started noticing last night that my feet were getting swollen.... and tonight the same thing. Plus my BP was up a bit and I had a small trace of protein in my urine. So my doctor is being overly protective and watching me closely. I have to go back this Friday morning for another check-up plus he wants me elevating my feet everyday while at work and home.... he is cutting back my activity big time. He said we could either do this the easy way or the hard way... the hard way would be admitting me to the hospital for the next 2 months. So I'm going to listen to him and relax.... it's about time!

Well that's it for tonight... I'm off to rest my feet and watch TV. Good night girls....

Good Morning Ladies,

Tasha - I'm sorry that you had a bad appointment. Make sure you listen to your Dr. and rest as much as possible. Let your DH wait on you. Can you stop working or reduce your hours? I just got a cleaning woman also to help me with the big stuff around the house like the bathroom and kitchen. It is the best money I ever spent. It felt really wierd letting someone clean up my house so I did a few loads of laundry. But even after the laundry my back was hurting so I was glad that I did not have to bend to clean the bathroom.

Colleen - How is your head feeling? I hope that was your last migrane for the remainder of your pregnancy.

Kim - How are you doing?

Rachel - How are you doing? I hope the BH are still not keeping you up. Did your husband get any word yet?

Angellica - My DH often teases me that he hopes the lab does did not do animal testing because we might wind up with a baby monkey instead of a baby person. I keep saying that unless the US shows a tail I think we are safe

I better get going. I have to be at work in an hour and have not even taken a shower yet.

Have a great day everyone.

Tasha- I am sorry you had a scare. It is almost scary how quickly something like that can sneak up. I am glad you are taking it easy. :-) But like someone else said it will be no time before our little ones start showing up.

Nance & Angellica, I am glad you are doing well.

Colleen I hope you are feeling better. Migrains are horrible!

Kim how are you doing? How long do you plan to try and work?

Rachel- I too have been having BH but they don't really bother me too much. I attribute my easy labor with other children to having lots of BH early on.

Hey can someone tell me how to get to the photobucket site for us again? I have been there once before but I forgot how. :-\
I have a doctor's appt. on Friday I am actually hoping to get a date for when he will induce me. I am going to ask for June 6th. I will have been with my job for a year then and covered by the FMLA and Naomi will be 38 weeks 2 days. :-) All this is providing I make it that far, but I am assuming I will :-) That would mean only 7 more weeks :-)

Take care everyone,
Cowgirl
