Marsxp - hey don't worry it takes a while to get use to everyone and their situations - i still sometimes have to keep reading back !!

Glad the visit went well, it makes you feel that you are finally getting somewhere doesn't it? So they are doing the trail transfer on Monday too? What does that involve?

 Hi Girls

I'm finally here after two hectic days at work

Cant even begin to catch up with all your info today so wil just catch up as i go along but thank you all for your good wishes.

Have a GP app on Thursday to organise all my tests again, as they have just ran out. Then we wait for all the paperwork to come through from the hospital then hopefully by the end of May we can be heading abroad. Bit scary and exciting i suppose.

Still feeling so sad after my recent ivf neg, but at least i have something to focus on and there is still a chance i can have a baby.

Anyway am off to chill, speak soon

Hi everyone

So glad I found this thread thanks for starting it. :D I am also doing the waiting game now. I had joined the April/May thread as we were hoping to do another cycle in May but when I went to the clinic for my last appointment they advised me to try DHEA for 3 to 6 months before trying again. I have premature ovarian failure and high FSH Levels.
There are lots of you on here so will have to read through all your posts when I am a bit more awake!! I am sure I will get to know you as time goes on.
Next lot of bloods scans and appointment not till July so it feels like forever to be waiting!

Good luck to anyone with things coming up in the next few days.

Goodnight

 Hi gang

Gill - Cant believe Leeds will charge £1000 for the scans. How many is that for? My hospital we did our 4 cycles with have agreed to do mine but they will charge me £40 per scan. I thought that was bad until i read about you
Think its shocking we have to pay anything, if we got pregnant naturally then we would get scans free

I emailed IM today with some more questions----i swear they will ban me from going as i keep hassle them. Hoping to go over for app around the end of May as long as the paperwork and tests are all done. At least my GP has offered to do all the tests free as they just ran out, typical eh.

When are you planning to go?

Will catch up later if anyone is around

ouch aunty - I hope yr alright. What was wrong with the other driver  ? did he not see you or something ?? A dented car is probably the last thing you need with the house and all, but the most important thing is that you are both ok.

Great news on fostering - lets hope that process is a little more speedier than the IVF one

so nice to see you back here.

Jackie - Was really interested in your comment on my FSH level (at 4.4). I thought that it sounded ok. What is the right sort of range? How high do they worry about? Is there a right level? Sorry for all the questions but it sounded like you knew a lot about it

Lee - welcome to the thread. Glad that you found us. I am on the May-June thread but no certainty as yet when I will cycle as having loads of tests done so this seemed like a good place to hang out. Where in the UK are you from?

Rachel - Hope that your headache has cleared up. AF is not being too bad. Hospital this morning. Got hiv, hep b and hep c done there thanks to my gp to save some £

Aunty - A small ranch. WOW. so sorry to hear about your accident. What a bummer. The main thing is that you are both ok. What a wonderful thing to be foster parents.

Mel - hope that everything was ok with the dr today. What did they say? Has the itch calmed down at all

Jen - don't be down. Got to start looking forward. Barcelona is lovely!!! Hope that your gp sets you up for all the tests tomorrow - for free. £40 per scan sounds like a bargain!!!

Gill - sounds mad £ for scans. Hopefully there is somewhere that you can get it done that is cheaper. Well done on doing the walk for life with your mum

Becky - rather quiet for you!!! (ha ha) Have you been busy training for the walk/run for life? What's up?

Marsxp - glad that they were able to do a test run. The more that they find out beforehand then the better for the actual cycle. That is what I try to think anyway

Sorry if i missed anyone.

Not much for me. More bloods at the hospital early this morning - 4 vials today. I must be running short!!! Next stop is scan next Friday. Clashes with a client appointment out in Norwich so now need to see if i can move scan a day forward and not mess everything up for another month. Fun and games ehhhhh. Also need to go to Dubai for work at start of June and stressing that will be during treatment. ARRGGGHHHH. Never straight forward. Might have to push tmt back by a month even if I could go May/June time. One step at a time.

Love to you all.

Hey Lady's
Jackie really good to read you again....oh Jackie at first we where like what the bloody hell was that, then Sam was fuming (after he checked i was ok) his car is only 2 years old so we still have 3 years to pay on it, he jumped out the car ready to go nuts at the other driver and this little old man climbed out of this huge truck he had a walker too, he just didnt see the red light wasnt looking at the road he was watching some work guy's, have to be honest we felt really bad for him, they said he had to be towed and he was saying he didnt have the money for it and his insurance wouldnt cover it bless we offered to pay for it but the police man wouldnt let us, apparently his policy and name didnt match so we may have trouble claiming our fix back but like you say everyone was ok and that's all that matters.

Rachel ooo so sorry about the bad head i hope you feel better after a sleep...hugs, we didnt get anywhere with the wish thing at all, but i have been busy making things to sell slow but moving forward. i have to catch up but how are you doing with yours?

Carolyn wow 4.4 is amazing way to go you spring chicken you, i know mine is always 6.4 and i was told at my age that was great, 10 is a bad number well so they say, around 10 your egg reserve is supposed to be really low, it's so great to read your moving forward with your new clinic im excited for you...hugs

loads of love to all i promise to back track and catch up where everyone is

I don't have time for personals, so please don't be mad, but you've been so sweet asking so here's the lovely news:

I got to the doctor and we talked medical history and stuff - she asked me if I was pregnant and I had to laugh and said Nope, she said are you sure, I said pretty definately sure... she said how can you be so sure, I said well..... my husband has a motiliity issue, I have a history of cervical cancer, my husband a lower sperm count, his boys don't swim straight, they are crocked little swimmers, I have cervical mucus.... the doctor stopped me and said, sorry I asked, I guess your not pregnant...

So then she looked at my tushie and said that I have some severe Anal Fissures in various stages of healing, and that for that she wants to give me some supositories (hooray) and that with my history of cervical cancer, it sometimes has a history of moving to the colon, and iwth my fissures for no reason they want to do a colonoscopy, and then with some of the constipation and the acid reflux I have they want to do an endoscopy at the same time... JOY OF JOYS! This is going to be on May 14th... I am SO not excited!

OkayI am going to head to daily Mass... I'll be back!

Love to you all!

(and Aunty I am so glad that you and Sam are alright! I hope you have uninsured motorist)

Kisses!

Mel

Okay so I have a few minutes and I wanted to do some personals:

First thank you guys for caring so much about my appointment - it really means alot! I know I can count on you for more than just the IVF stuggles we all face and that means alot!

Dr. Becky: I think Dpctor works better... nurse schmurse! Speaking of Dr.'s Dr. Melissa thinks you should take a HPT!!!! Miracles DOOOOO happen!!!!! It only takes one!! And remember even though you've been sterilized IVF pushes thing around - I mean God made us the way we are to get pregnanted one way - be we mess around with nature, and it does mess thngs up! I'd go for it baby! The cost of a HPT is alot less than the cost of another round of IVF!!!! Oh I am so excited!!!

Aunty: I am so excited about your house!! Where in NY do you live? I have tons of family still there, in Up State, the city, Long Island... we are all over 8) And I am so sorry about your accident, I hope that you and Sam are okay, sometimes it takes a couple of days for the whiplash to kick in... but I hope you don't get it! (Because it's awful!)

Lee: Welcome to our thread!!! You will find these ladies to be super supportful! I am so sorry for all of your hardships with IVF, this rollercoaster that we put ourselves through is tough, but one day the end result for all of us will be an incredible gift that we will all enjoy very soon, but unfortunley my mantra has become our time is not God's time - darn it!

Rachel: I hope your headache is better soon, aren't they the worst!! I am really excited about your continued weight loss - you are a true inspiration to me!!! You go girl!!! :D

Nimble - I hope your dinner was nummy!

Mars- I am glad you had a good appointment at your RE's office. I hope the trial transfer goes well, when will that be? It is hard to get to know everyone! It will take some time, don't you worry!

Carolyn: 4.4 is fantasomical!! YOu should be proud of yourself! 8) I just redid my HIV, and all of those STD's too!

Jen - when do you find out what your GP says about those tests? So tell me this you do some stuff in Spain and then they send it to your GP and he reads the results? Is that how it works?

Gil- Can you shop those tests? Or is it an inclusive price?

Shantala: I miss you, I hope your job has been great and you are loving it and that is why you are absent! That is the only acceptable excuse! :D I

I have some rotten news, I know more from me!!! This stinks!!
I think that's it - if you pray can you pray for my Grandfather, the one who just visited, he's in the hospital, I think personally the trip took alot out of him and he just needs to let his body recouperate. But DH thinks that this was his last hor-ah - so I am praying, praying praying!

On my way to the bum dr. I called my mother, and she sounded hushed sort of, and I aksed her if everything was okay, and apparently my mother and step father were at the hosptial... my step father was feeling dizzy, but with a strange sensation in his head - and neck, so the went to the ER and after tests and tests and tests, they found out that he had some mini-stokes - like 6 of them. SO he's in the hospital now too! Great, what is going on!!! AGGGGHHHHH!!!

SO this is my life, wanna trade!
