Awww Becky man that sucks.....but ok like you say back on the diet train...it's odd though you being so late i hope it either arrives soon or you get to prove the HPT wrong.

Rachel ive missed you all too i was looking in just didn't feel like i belonged until Mrs Becky started this thread off, im so pleased your head is better, i have to loose much more than 3 stone so your not alone, i hate it when a med say's "may cause weight gain" then your bum increases like 4 sizes, that has to be against some false advertising or something...packet's should read...."your gonna have to go buy big butt jeans"...with a P.S get the elastic waist ones.

i will go post pics of our house on myspace...

love to all Aunty

good morning ladies [US time] and afternoon - Europe time [lol]

how's everybody doing??? as for me, im ok here... still waiting for the day i could start with everything....

quick question tho to those who had done it already [ivf] currently im still on BC pills and this is my last week on the colored ones.. the nurse practitioner said i should skip the last line and start with the colored ones again in the new pack.... she said something about the white pills are just placebo...

what do you think should i expect after the BC pills... are they gonna let me bleed again and when do they start my bloodworks? seem like they mentioned they will keep an eye on me and will ask me to come as much as everyday for bloodworks.....

thanks a lot....

 Hi girls

Just to let you know we went to the GP today and she has agreed to do all the tests for free----she's a star. Will also talk to my consultant at the hosp and see if we can get out of paying for the scans, but think we might have to stump up for this one---can't win them all eh :x
Anyway things are moving along and all we need now is AF to come. Typical, we usually want it to stay away and now we want it here
If we can get the paperwork in order fast then we can have our app on the 15th May in Barcelona. Bit scary and exciting.

Becky - Crap news, thinking of you.

Carolyn - Where you hiding, hope you haven't fainted from all the blood you given

Gill - When are you planning your first appointment in Barecelona?

Hope everyone else is ok? Am on a sleepover tomorrrow night so will catch up on Monday evening.

Love Jen x

morning all, well i'm working from home today (honest!!) and will get down to it soon. Suffering badly from a hangover and I know, shouldn't be drinking but I had my blow out last night - think it was a build up from the failure of the last cycle plus work been mega busy this week and I've had lots of early mornings (but not as early as Rach!!).

So, I get a call at work last night from my friends who were walking down to our local (which is lovely - great big garden) - well one turned into two which turned in to a session at their house - poor DH had to come and rescue the car and me !! Sometimes its gotta be done

No doubt will put the llbs that I have lost back on - but guess its not the end of the world really when I read what some of you are or have gone through - however have to agree with these warnings - slight weight gain - thats an understatement!! Got a wedding tomorrow and not one dress fits so new outfit had to be brought along with a new bigger size :(

Carolyn - not really an expert on FSH levels, I just know that my clinic says it has to be under 12 otherwise they won't treat you - mine is getting to be boader line - last test it was at 9.2 hence I guess why I'm not getting lots of eggs. Also having to renew all my bloods inc FSH next month so not looking forward to what the result will be.

jen1d - fantastic news on getting yr tests done free - it really makes a difference doesn't it - good luck on influencing yr consultant on the scans too!

Aaawww Becky - was so hoping that you had gotten a lil miracle - there's still hope yet I guess whilst 'she' stays away :D

aunty - how are you - hope you haven't got any side effects from the accident. Can't wait to see piccies of the new house /ranch - becky is so spot on - it does bring piccies of south fork (?) into your mind.

Mel - someone up there is really testing you at the mo honey aren't they - so sorry to hear about yr grandad and step father - how are they both?? I know it is probably no comfort, but it is good that you are going to be throughly checked out - ((((HUGS))))) and then atleast you are able to move on and concentrate on the IVF.

Rach - must be so nice to have a headache free days - lets hope they stay that way - hows the diet coming along??

shantala - where are you honey??????? Are you buried under heaps of new work????

Hello everyone else - just realised that I ought to do some work !!!

Good Morning Jackie.....
ooo when i first had my FSH done mine was 9.5 i was told we had very low egg reserve and not to expect much from ivf at all our first cycle we only got 3 eggs ended up with 2 very poor embies on day 3...by cycle 3 we had 14 eggs and 3 blasts so dont you pay no mind the Dr's dont always get it right, your body might amaze you, have you heard about primrose oil?
Good for you having a blow out i fully intened to do the same thing on saturday night, i really miss having a local they dont have that here, the day's when you leave work and pop in the pub "just for one"...LOL, how was hubby after he collected you?

I really dont have any thing from the accident my shoulders feel like im holding something heavy (if that makes sense) and i was getting headaches but no all well (thank God) im bugged right now our ins is paying for the repair then they will sue him for the charges only thing is they cant find him, no other reports of any accidents..oooo but we had a police man there and he took all the info we shall see.

happy hangover and make sure you work really hard  i always did when i worked from home especially when a good movie came on.

love to all Aunty

hi aunty, i've heard of primrose oil but didn't know about the benefits - does it help with FSH or eggies??? I've started taking Omega 3 as well now to help with egg production - who knows we will try anything eh!!

Hubby was a star - you know what you're like when you've had one too many and I kept apologising for getting drunk and making him come and get me

I know 'local's are great for that sort of thing, especially in the summer - what sort of thing do they have in NY then? Are they more like bars rather than pubs? Perhaps there is a business adventure there

How intriguing about your missing man - perhaps he was in disguise and wasn't an old man really !! Very odd though - oh keep us informed !

right back to work.....sigh .....

Jackie....ooo your right they really could do with a few pub's around here, NY city is great for everything, i live in NY state if we want to go out for a night we have to drive 45 mins away to the night life, there is nothing where i am and i live in a fairly big city.

your hubby sounds like a star...bless him.

I'm not really sure about what the did the trick all i know is i took it and my FSH every time after that was 6.2 ish and i produced loads of eggs, it's really good for pms or pmt a side effect of it was it stimulated my ovary's, only thing you have to stop taking it once you start your cycle so you could try it for this month then stop, i took 1000 tablet a day and will start it again as soon as i get my money to start another try.
Babytalk warning also one of my cousins came off the pill after over 15 years they told her it would take at least 3 months for her to start ovulating normaly i gave it to her she was pregnant the same month...dont know if you noticed the pic's of Chloe on myspace but she was the result. who know's what it was but it has to be worth a shot right?

have fun.....loads of love Aunty

Hello all again!!! :D

I've been away on a training course for the past 3 days so no access to the internet.

Welshgirl, hope you're alright. It must be an anxious time for you.

Aunty - hello there :) . I've read so many good things about your supportive nature. You seem to have gone thrugh a lot already. I wish I could borrow some of your strength to deal with things.

Nimble, hope you've recovered from your hangover.......and hope you managed to work from home

CarolynB, sorry haven't been in touch. You must be feeling weak with all that blood they have been taking from you. Take it easy this weekend and relax.

Jen, good to know things are moving along. Do you mind sharing a little bit about your decision on going to barcelona. Is it cheaper? Do you have to stay there for a full month or will you make trips to and back?

Lara keep up with the diet! I know how difficult it is esp with the emotions that sometimes take hold of you. I'm trying too, but find it difficult to even shift 2 lbs. :

Mel, sorry about everything you're going through. Will keep you in my prayers and hope you can keep up your strength.

Can't get an appointment with my GP until next Friday which is a bit of a bummer. One step forward three backwards seems to be my story.

I was really good all week with my diet, and then I heard about someone's pregnancy. This guy at work, he's 27, got married less than a year back and now talking about what an amazing feeling it is to feel the baby kick. As you can all understand, while there is no malice in us, it is very difficult to genuinely be happy for someone who has it so easy. So That set me on a downward spiral, and in the last 2 hours I've had loads to eat including half a tub of ice cream!!!!! And couldn't be bothered to go to the gym either. I really need to get a grip on myself. But I feel so

Sorry if I've left out anyone. Its not deliberate, honest!!!!

 Hi gang

I got info from S yesterday. We can have the appointment of the 15th May, so have provisionally book it, just need my af to arrive and get all my notes together. We really want af to come quickly (thats a first eh) so we can do my blood tests. Would be my luck that it doesnt come and we have to pospone everything. Anyway thinking positive today.

Ange505 - To answer your questions. My tubes were damaged, then removed and now we have very little eggs. Have looked into lots of clinics and spoken to lots of girls about im. Its expensive, double what i pay in the uk but i have to try every option then i know we did everything before we maybe adopt. Everything is happening very fast, you just email the clinic and they send all the info. They have no waiting list so can organise app fast. You only have to visit on 2 occasions---1, fill out all paperwork, leave sperm sample and do mock transfer (so things go smoothly on the day) then 2, ET. My hospital will do the scans here to check the lining then hey presto bfp :?: :?: :?: Thats what the tests should say anyway
Hope your feeling better, its crap when others say they are pregnant eh, nothing to do with the people just the unfairness. You thinking about im?

Ok, just got back from a sleepover at work and am exhausted. Been up so early as my keychild has been missing overnight again, think he is heading to a secure unit. Getting a complex as most of my kids head there

Love to you all
