Jeck it was great to hear from you!!!! I will definately say a prayer for you and Jaden and I really really hope you get to bring him home soon! That is just wonderful you do so well with the foster family!

Colleen there is no way I am coordinated enough right now to do the curb walk thing you suggested I feel fortunate to be able to waddle in a straight line.

Kim, I too washed all my stuff and put away but I really didn't get much 6-12 so I guess that is okay. I hope Target doesn't give you any grief, they should be nice to the very pregnant lady!

Ellie sorry about the hay fevor and that I don't have any suggestions for you. I had a cold for the last 2 weeks and felt like total crap and I didn't want to take meds for it so I can relate, but at least I know the cold will go away.

CasyP I hope you get really good news Tuesday so you won't have to worry, we all worry enough without having "other" things to worry about.

Well, I had my doctor's appt. today and nothing new. He says I am soft and 1cm dialated. He did do my StrepB test today. So now I am waiting another week

Good Afternoon Girls...

Colleen- glad to hear your doing well... thanks for the tip on curb walking. I'm going to try it tonight, but I can't promise anything... I'm feeling very awkward lately.

Kim- My girlfriend actually just called me and said the same thing about washing the clothes... looks like that will cut my loads in half - thank god! I hear ya about Target's terrible return policy... I had several items to return there and they gave us such a hassel... they should be nice to pregnant ladies. Good luck at your ultrasound today... can't wait to hear how big your little ones are.

Cowgirl- glad to hear your doing well... also good luck on your Strep B test - I'm sure it will come out negative. The list looks good to me.... should we just post our predictions?

As for us we're doing good... we had a doctor's appointment this morning and nothing has changed. BP is still good, ankels are swollen, but not so bad & baby is doing great. I have another doctor's appointment Thursday morning... however my doctor has made a prediction - he thinks I might be going into labor sometime next week. We'll see....

Yep Tasha just post your predictions and I will try to get them in some format to post. Man next week sounds so good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't think I can be that lucky but that would be great if you would be especially since you are a week ahead of myself. I would like to hold out 2 more weeks to get to the full term point, but with as uncomfortable as I feel now and I know Naomi would be okay it wouldn't hurt my feelings to go into labor right now. I am just glad the end is insight.

Tasha are you doing appts twice a week now?


Has anyone else taken Tylonol for pelvic pressure?

Hey gals!

Tasha and Cowgirl...I can't believe how close you two are to delivering! Wow! Cowgirl--my doc is going to schedule my c-section soon. I have an appt. on THursday, so he might schedule it then. He is saying he'll probably take the babies around week 37...so for you gals with predictions, you'll have to count ahead a few weeks for me!

Our U/S went well today...well, not that we could really see anything! The babies are soooo smushed in there! Baby A weighs 4 pounds 4 oz., and Baby B is 3 pounds 12 oz. According to the tech, they're doing fine. I just wish Baby B was over the 4 pound hurdle. I guess I"ll have to wait another week or so! As Racheal said a while ago, once you get over 4 pounds, that's a good thing!

Well, returning all our duplicates "paid off"! I managed to get around $150 in merchandise credit at BAbies R Us, Target, and Kohl's (all together). So, that will help us with our shopping. Target was a slight pain, but at least the lady was pleasant to deal with!

hi there girls... wow it's getting so exciting to be so close... i'm so ready, after the 90 degree heat yesterday... i'm so ready.. nothing new here.. my next appointment is thursday, with an internal and check... hopfully can make it till past friday for DS's b-day party otherwise DH has a ton to do..

tasha- i too was told that it looks like it might be next week also.. i still think that you are going to be first, not that it matters... you do have the closest due date!! have you had an US to see if aubrey is "breathing" and if she's going to be a good size.. we have another one on friday.. i do say, i think that i get a ton of US, not that i'm complaining...the heat yesterday was bad... i do not know how the southern girls deal.. my hats off to them..

Kim- you are doing great... as for the US and the weight... remember that the weights can be off, especially if they are squeezed in there... with our last son they said 6lbs 9oz the day before he was born at 8lbs 3oz... so they were way off... you are doing so good with the twins... i think that you'll be 6/13... just a guess... I too hate Targets return... but forund that if you have a state ID you can get more returns with that number.. and if you return everything on one transaction it only counts as one... Target is my fav store we have one that is 5 min away and is the super target with the food and everything... i do almost all my shopping there... it's easier , one stop shop, especially with kids...

cowgirl-yes i have taken tylenol for the pelvic pressure, i can say that it really works, but there are times that i'll try anything... i do not remember it being this bad with my lasts... i think that this one is the worst, i just tell my self that it's dialating... so i take it you have dropped.. maybe you will not make the 6th..... i hold on to DH when i'm trying the curb walking.. also try the butterfly or taylor sitting...

casy- hope that your results went well today... and good luck with the DD...

ellie-hope that you enjoyed the beach... i do not think that swimming can harm the baby, unless you are dialated or something.. i swam with my other pregnancies (be it, it was in a pool) i love swimming... and could have used a dip yesterday.. it was quite warm here... sorry about the hayfever... that stinks... i was told i could take actifed or sudafed...

jeck- you are in our prayers.... we are hoping that jaden is soon home with you.. have fun on the trip to see him for his first b-day!!

nancy-sorry about the heatburn... i do not know if anyone else has had the luck that i have with drinking lemonade... i have only had it bad once or twice since i started drinking it... i buy the countrytime lite lemonade, and drink it almost all day... hope that lily's room will be fine... just remember that you can have her with you for a couple of months anyway.. don't tell DH, might slow him down a little.. And you'll still need somwhere to put the cloths and diapers...

Rachael- hope that you too are doing well... not to much longer now!! hang in there girl!!

as for dates...i think that i'm going to be the 21st... my doc is on call and it's past the 36 week mark, and past my DS's b-day party... we will have to see... i think that Tasha will be first, on the 19th.. hope that everyone is well and taking care of their growing out of controll bellies!!

Good Morning Ladies,

I hope you are all doing well. I can not believe how close some of you are. I can't wait to see pictures of your little ones as soon as they are born. Even though I only have weeks it seems like a lifetime at this point.

Colleen - Wow 90 degrees. How nice. I love the hot weather. Yesterday it was about 70 here in NY. Very nice but I would have loved it to be a little warmer. I actually think that you and Tasha are going to be the first at the same time both on the 21st. Let's see if I am right.

Kim - I'm so glad your US went well. Those weights sound good. Don't worry, I'm sure baby B will be over the 4lb mark anyday now. It is so great that you got that much back from your gifts. That will keep you stocked in diapers for at least a few months.

I gotta run. I have to drive someone from work to the train station. I'll post some more personals later tonight when I get home.

Well I just got back from Target... picked up some diapers, wipes, blamex, etc. Also I think I have everything all set for my bag except I need one more pair of pajamas and some magazines..... then I also have to get DH ready (toothbrush, deodorandt, etc). I have been having a lot of pressure all day... cramping and pains shooting through my woo woo (sorry if that's to much info). Since this is all new to me... does this sound like contractions to the rest of you?

Hi gals,

Colleen--Your Target sounds nicer than ours! They would only allow 2 items to be returned. Very stringent. Ugh. Oh well. I actually just got off the phone with Babies R Us (online group), and I had to deal with the hassle of a messed up order...on their part. Calgon, take me away! They were such a pain! I would prefer to buy stuff at the store, but they don't have my twin strollers at the store...only online! I think it's resolved now, but we'll see once the order comes in!

Tasha, are you going to drop your baby this week? It sounds like things are changing for you! Good luck and take it easy!

My job is having a baby shower for me tomorrow so I can't wait. It should be fun.

we are ok here... i'm fighting a ton of contractions.. that is ok... i keep telling myself (dialate, dialate, dialate) and remember that you need to relax during the contraction for them to work the best... lets hope i'm 3cm 50% tomorrow... then i might be able to convince him to start this thing..

nance- a short time now.. then you can nest... i've actually been doing that the last few days myself.. and preping the baby things..

kim- actually the target is ok... i'm in there so much that i know the service desk lady, and it helps that my 3YO flerts with her... she really likes him... he's silly hope that the babies r us thing is fixed... i too had a problem with a online thing...it was bad, but finally they did get it right..

tasha- it does sound like contactions..could also be that you dropped and the pressure from the baby is right on your cervix.... just remember to try and relax, and not tense up... i know that it's easier said then done, but it will help for a shorter labor and be better in the long run!! good luck getting everything else packed... ps... target had just some basic pj tops for 5.00 and bottoms for 10.00... they worked for me... not nursing, but low vneck that would work...

cowgilr-tricia- I think that was the first time that i read your real name.. it caught me off guard... it will be fun to see who is the closest on the guessing.. hope that you are well... did you try the sitting or walking holding on to DH???

Some of your guesses for me made me chuckle. My b-day is June 22nd, and a couple of you guessed my babes will come June 21st! Wouldn't that be a great present? I have a feeling the doc will schedule a section before that date, but who knows!

nance, I hope you had a nice shower at work! You only have a couple of weeks left!

I go see my OB again tomorrow. These weekly appts. come quickly! I had some funny mucous today...wonder if that was my plug?

Hello all!!! NO BABIES YET????????

How exciting is this all getting now! I cannot wait, well I can 'cos I have to! when I see 36wks on the board I amjust like wow......

I hope you are all good, I am sooo bad at personals as I forget what I have written and always seem to have limited time and I always feel guilty....

But I think of you all each day and cannot wait to compare wrinklies!

We are doing the American thing at my house and my friends are arranging a big baby shower on the 26th May so should be good, I am having nothing to do with it and am not even allowed home that day, so will keep you posted what they are up to........

GTT is normal I have waited 10 days for the results and had to get them myself from the path lab in the end as our Midwives and Drs are beyond useless! I have no faith in them whatsoever and dont even bother ringing unless it is a matter of life and death......

4D scan was pants I would post a piccie of Roman on that site if I could for the life of me remember what it is called!!!
I only like 1 photo and to be honest I think the scans are a little freaky! He was too low and I got a bruised groin with them trying to get a good picture, he is all ready for take off just hanging around looking rather contented in there.....and he has huuuuge feet! Heaven only knows where from, not me or DH!

Well I must remember to check in more as time is nigh........you ladies with twins are doing excellently! I am soo pleased things are going pretty good for you as it must be hard........
