Jeck - I bet you can't wait till your trip. Your little boy is so cute! :-) I would love to add you our guesses for dates. Would that be okay?

Angellica- Don't worry about the personals if you don't have the time, it is just nice to hear from you and how you are feeling. :-)

Colleen- it sounds like you are getting so close. I am looking forward to hearing your update after the doctor's appt. :-) I have not been walking to encourage things mainly because when I walk that sciatia pain really acts up. But I do have hubby convinced that sperm is good for the cervix :-) and that is a lot more fun then walking ;-)

Rachel - that does sound like contractions but since this is your first you need lots of them but Colleen is absolutly right you have to relax for them to be productive. So you go girl!!!! :-)

Kim- you are my mentor. You sound like you are doing great! And you can loose your mucus plug weeks before delivery, but you might want to be a bit more cautious about infection like minimize the public pool swiming and such. Might be worth asking the doctor.

Nance- I too am so pre-occupied! Everyday I read birth stories, check out this website and do some kind of research. I think if I stayed home I would go stir crazy, probably not be as tired and get more done but go stir crazy.

My company picnic is this Saturday and we are taking our boat. I may have to sit on the sidelines because the ride might be to rough for me. We shall see. On Sunday my mom is coming in for my son's graduation on Wednesday. Then the following Saturday, my daughter and mom are driving to Colorado for a week, then returning in time for induction. It will be here before I know it :-) but it does seem like a long way away right now. :-)

Take care everyone!!!!!!

Hi all, i can't believe some of you are having contractions. :)
Well i like the guesses, i am hoping Isabella dosn't arrive before 23rd July because MIL is away and she desperatly wants to be here. Oh well i'm not closing my legs. I think it will be really good to have her around because she can help me relax using meditation and reflexology.
Angellica he looks lovely. You can see so much more than on my scan. We didn't end up with a photo only a dvd because her long legs were right in her face.
Buckeyegal my birthday is also June 22nd, how lucky will you be if the babies come then. Are you a laid back cancerian to?
I went shopping today and got the cot bedding, its really cute, it has tulips on and is pink. Didn't think i would go for a pink one but it is pretty. I think DP is getting fed up with all the pink but tough.
I am going to have a go at some predictions
Tasha - 18th May
Colleen - 21st May
Tricia - 5th June
Rachel and Kim- 22nd June (Kim's and my birthday :D )
Nance- 27th June
Bec P - 6th July
Angellica - 14th July
Ellie (Me) - 24th July
Nictor - 31st July
Casey - 3rd August

Tasha i hope you are ok, who knows you might be having your little one now, due to the pains in your woo woo. How exciting. :D  :)

Elliecat, my husband is having a rough time with all the pink also. My daughter and I picked out some neutral color type outfits for coming home from the hospital just for him. :-) But we do have the little pretty green or yellow head bands :-) Not that I plan to use them much because they seem like they would be uncomfortable. ;-\

Take care,

hey cowgirl. I have also chosen a none pink outfit to bring her home in. A friend gave us a sweet red and white all in one that says "I love my Daddy" so i think this is the way to go. She can start buttering him up from the beginning :D

hi there guys... we are ok, got back from the doc's.. no date yet, everything is still going ok.... he said that he wouldn't talk about a date till after 36 weeks (TOMORROW) so he said that we would discuss it next tuesday... so we'll see then.. it doesn't look like we'll be on the 21st (my doc is off that day anyway).. although he did say that i was 3cm and 50%, just what i thought i would be.. and said that it would be no more then 10 days... so we are still hanging there... he is hoping that i go into labor on my own, after the 36 weeks... never done that, so we'll see.. he also said that i can start the things to bring on labor after the 36 weeks...he said the baby is really really low (i could have told him that) and if we had to induce, then it would we no problem and easy to do, because i was dialated and the baby is low...

for you girls and the pink.... i wish i could buy some pink... i think that i'm stuck with an all male household... well i guess that there can still be a surprise at deleivery, because they never told us what we were having, we just thought that we saw the boy parts..

so can we alter or guesses, or should we let them stand... maybe let them stand.. it will be fun to see were our guesses end up...

well i hope that everyone has a good day...

Colleen, sounds like a good doctor's appt. I know we are all very ready to meet our little ones but the longer they cook the better. :-) I forgot you didn't find out what your little one is, now I have even more to look forward to :-) At least since you are dialating and effacing your labor will be easier :-) but remember after 37 weeks is better. A week will go by fast! At least that is what I keep telling myself, cause I figure I have about 3 more weeks. :-)

Take care and keep on baken :-)

Good Afternoon Girls... I'm still here. I had a doctor's appointment this morning (just had an NST - as my doctor wasn't in). I do have another appointment next Monday morning where we'll see if I'm dialted any... I hope so. I'm still having a ton of pressure and cramps... last night I timed them and they were about 11 minutes apart, but then I fell asleep and they seemed to go away. And so far I have had several spurts today, but nothing close together. I'll keep you all posted....

Kim- good luck at your appointment tomorrow... make sure to keep us updated especially if you lost your plug.

Angellica- that's great that your GTT results came back negative.. also Roman looks so cute... I'm sure you can't wait to meet him.

Cowgirl- thanks for the list of guesses.... also have fun at your picnic this weekend. We also have a picnic to attend this weekend, but it's about 40 minutes away and I'm nervous to attend just in case I go into labor... am I being silly?

Ellie- your bedding sounds so cute... we have also opted for a non-pink coming home outfit for little Aubrey. I'm actually just going w/ a onesie, pants & blanket - something comfy and simple.

Colleen- sounds like your hanging in there... well I guessed the 23rd for you so I still might be right. Take it easy and keep us posted for sure....

Well I'm off to write more thank you cards from my shower this past weekend... chat w/ you all later.
Tasha

Hello Girls!

You are all so very chatty! I have been extremely busy. I am training my replacement at work, I am in my last week of class at the university (finals again) and I am also trying to finish up all the renovations we have been trying to do. I have not stopped at all. I promise everyone that I will be back starting next Tuesday (classes end, kids are out of school and I will be starting to cut back on my hours at work.). I have noticed the predictions and I have bad news for most of you. My C-Section has been sceduled for June 15th so Makayla will be here no later than that date. I had an ultrsound last Friday and she is doing good. She is smaller than they were expecting (actually she is right on schedule for a normal baby) but they are now only expecting her to be about 7.5 lbs at the most. I am thrilled, but the OB was a little worried that she might not be as developed as the boys were. I am not worried. The ultrasound showed I was 60% effaced but on 2 cm dialated. This is good because they do not want me in labor. My OB said it is very risky for me to even have hard BHs. So I am on the Brethine till the end. I will try to catch up with you all again soon, but please stay safe and keep posting. I have been reading, just too busy to post.

Angelica--Roman's face is precious! He looks like he's resting well! I tend to agree with you, though, on the 4d's. Some of them look a little freaky (Not Roman's though!)...that's why we didn't get any. I was just afraid that my children's pics would scare me! Isn't that silly? :D

Ellie--too funny that we share a b-day! It's funny that you ask if I'm laid back....I am NOT whatsoever! Although, I have to admit pregnancy has chilled me out a bit. But pre-preggo, I was completely anal retentive about everything! I'm completely organized and tight about so much...But, I guess these babies are chilling me out now! [By the way, I think it's pretty neat that we share a b-day, and that your name is my favorite if I have a girl. Ellie Rose would be her name!] Enjoy your shower next week!

cowgirl--You're doing a great job with the list! Keep it up! Have fun at the picnic...I don't blame you about the boat...the bouncing would be really irritating right now. You also make me laugh....about the pool thing....my big butt isn't going ANYWHERE near a pool right now! :)

Colleen--It sounds like you and I are on the same dr. schedule. Congrats on 36 weeks tomorrow! You're sooo close! 10 days...wow!

Tasha--How did the NST go? Does it take a while for results? I haven't had one of those yet.

Racheal--Good luck finishing up classes, renovations, etc. We might be delivering around the same time! I have a feeling my section will be scheduled the same week as yours! That would put me at 37 weeks. We'll see if we can deliver the same day! Makayla's predicted weight sounds very good...I wouldn't worry either.

As for me, I went to the OB today. It ends up that I did NOT lose my plug. My cervix is still long, high, and thick. Doc is very happy. He's going to wait at least another week before scheduling the section, which is fine with me. I did experience my first BH while I was on the table today....quite shocking at first! Other than that, all's good. I go back on Tuesday.

sorry if I missed anyone! I'm always thinking about you. Can't wait to meet your little ones very very soon!

Hi all,
Sorry I haven't posted this week but have been hectic. Have finally finished DD new room, been up pretty late most eves, either out or doing the room! DD moved into her room and her new bed tonight and amazingly she went staright to sleep! I'm so proud of her!! Not sure how the rest of the night will go but fingers crossed.

I have unfortunately still got my cough (11 days so far) and on thurs came out with a cold as well so not feeling great. My blood results are still not back. Apparently they haveto be sent off somewhere else to be analysed. Should hopefully know this Tues.

I can't believe I finish work this week. A bit scared really as still not sure what to do once maternity leave ends but will worry about that nearer the time. I am hoping that I will soon start to feel better, and bloom! Ha Ha!

I know have an almost empty nursery, which needs a good clean and sort out. My mum gave me the first few bits for new baby yesterday and with maternity leave starting I am finally thinking that I am having another baby! Can't believe how lucky and blessed we are to be experiencing this again when once we never thought we'd have one.

Sorry no personals. Will catch up soon.
Hope you have all enjoyed your weekends

Hey Kim, how are you feeling today???? I wonder where everyone is. Hopefully just resting. :-)

I had my doctor's appt. today and all is well. BP, weight good and no protein in my urine. I am 2cm dialated and 50% effaced now. So technically any time or it could take weeks. I am scheduled to be enduced the June 6th so maximum is 2 weeks and a day :-) I can't wait. I haven't slept in 3 days, mainly I think because of the heartburn. This week will go by fast for me because my Mom is in town (from Florida) and my son's HS graduation is Wednesday and his graduation party is Saturday. Surprizingly my feet really haven't been swelling, even after walking quite a bit at my company picnic they didn't swell too much. :-)

Okay the rest of you ladies better check in :-)
Hey I am going to send people in the group my phone number so if they don't have access to a computer, they can call or get their significant other to give me a call and I can post an update. I plan to take my laptop to the hospital and even if I am unable I can walk my non-computer savy husband through the process to post an update. :-)

Take care everyone,
Cowgirl

Hello Girls....

No baby here yet - however I did have a doctor's appointment this morning and I'm 30% effaced and 1/2cm dialted. I have another doctor's appointment this Saturday morning and my doctor seems to think I'll be 2-3cm by then and ready to go.... so we might be having a baby this weekend.

I hope the rest of you are doing well.... update us when you can.

Tasha
