Tanya, Jovigal, My2LnT and marsxp – wow 4 of you on the 2 week wait, I hope you are all doing well and your little treasures are snuggling in well, I’m sending lots of sticky baby dust your way – I want to see lots of BFP in this thread.

Gbnut / Susan – Thanks for your advice – I normally drink a lot of water and I have been downing extra all day – I‘ll do anything if it helps. They have told me the Buserlin (morning shots) stop me ovulating and when I had the scan on Wednesday there were still lots of smaller eggs so I hope……
Congratulation on getting to ET you must all be excited about your little beanies coming home for the next 9 months. If I have to do this again I think I’ll give acupuncture a go also

Jen and Jenn – Congratulations on getting to EC. I am so excited for both of you. I hope they collect lots of lovely eggs and they have a big party with DH’s boys on Saturday night…….

Jul1e.... Welcome back. Yippie - you get to start tomorrow. Before you know it you will be at EC. I hope you start to feel better soon, treat your self to a TLC weekend.

Shantala – I can relate to your experience in Egypt. It hit us the day after we left (I am sure it was the one and only meal we had at the hotel we stayed in…… ) I came right after a couple of days but Dave was crook for a few more days. We were driving through Germany having to stop at all the rest stops along the Autobahn and the day we arrived in Paris we had a look around Notre Dame then he found a park bench in the garden area behind to lie down on close to the restroom (TMI) and I went exploring around the local area, took lots of photos and bought them back to show him (wonders of digital camera’s) …

Sophie - Thankyou for your wonderful support (you are a real honey. Thank you) I keep telling myself “my body is doing the best it can…..” I felt really positive this morning and felt much better – but I’m rather tender again this afternoon. I’m trying my best not to second guess my body.
All the best with your 1st shot – Isn’t it amazing how each of our bodies is so different and we all individually react so differently to the same / similar medication. Thank you for the articles you sent – I’m thinking of sending them down to my sister as she is TTC #2.

I have another test tomorrow morning…….. please send all the estergon lowering vibes you can to me.
DH is outside mowing the lawns. I am normally out there helping him as it takes 2-3 hours to do it alone so I am feeling a little guilty that he is doing it all himself. He has ordered me to put my feet up and relax and I bought the book “My sisters keeper” to read so I’m going to light the fire and curl up on the couch with my water and book for the rest of the afternoon.

Take care all
Love Angela

That is my little chant for you! LOL Claim it girl Claim it! I so hope that it is down for you! I really do. That is like really really high!!! Holy Cow!

Jenn
Yippie! Thank goodness you get to go to ER and this Saturday! Soon soon. It is so soon-you must be so excited. I know I was when I got to trigger.

Susan
Good idea with the house work. We know how the men love to clean while we are off our feet! LOL

Julie
Hope that you enjoyed your bath! I am so happy for you to be stimming! i know how I felt when I was able to do it and I was like woo hoo more shots! I am fearless when it comes to shots now baby!!!! LOL

Sophie
It was freezing in my part of the world as well. I had winter coats on my boys and we lit a fire too. It was chilly!!! I know what you are saying about the HPT's. they are bittersweet. I am just an addict. I can't help it like I am compelled to take as many as possible!!! HEHE. Anyhow I know how you felt with heartache. I had that when I got the BFN with my FET. It was so hard to deal with. I cried and cried. For several days afterwards and I couldnt talk to anyone about it or I would cry. It was hard. I don't blame you one bit for not doing them! More power to you will your strong will power!!! By the way i did end up telling the cashier because there was no one behind me. It was too funny though. Good Luck with the Stimming girl! You are well on your way now baby!

Well it still seems like forever until Next Thursday! Is time moving at all? LOL Still here just waiting. Patiently....kind of! LOL

gbnut, thanks for the welcome back, always nice to feel welcome :) Where are you in your cycle? I'm getting muchos confused!

Jenn, good luck! Saturday 8am, so you be retrieving Monday then?? Good luck lady, hope you get lots good 'ns!

Two week waiters, Tanya, Jovigal, My2LnT and marsxp, how's it going? Feeling relaxed? I found it so hard last time, you want to do something to take your mind off it but you can't go to the gym, can't go for a massage, can't have a drink, soooooooo hard.

What does everyone do in the two week wait to distract themselves from it? Is there any exercise that's ok, like swimming or cycling? What about a few weights down the gym as long as I'm not involving my stomach area and not getting out of breath? As you can probably all tell I'm a bit of an active type and find the waiting game so difficult. If I'm not busy then my head's too busy and that drives me nuts! Advice please for when my time comes!

Arizonakiwi, thanks for your well wishes, I'm actually feeling much better today - maybe the shot helped! Ha ha, I feel like a junkie, I feel so low until I stick a needle in myself! How bizarre. Actually, I'm not that brave, I close my eyes and let DH do it, well done those of you who are brave enough to do it yourselves, don't think I could! I'm so sorry you're having a hard time. Last time they thought I'd been over-stimmulated and were saying I'd probably have to do a freeze all and abandon the cycle. They took me off the shots for a day or so and then I got my HCG, I ended up getting 16 eggs so all was fine and it went ahead. My stomach was huge, I looked 5 months preggers and had to wear hilariously baggy dresses. Soooo, maybe it'll be ok, I'm not up on what all the figures mean but keep drinking that water, girl and we'll cross everything for you. Keep a bottle of your favourite bottled water beside you at all times and glug away! Lowering estrogon vibes to you.

Hey TansRN, the bath was great, thanks and did help my mood. I still was aright grump though when DH got in from seeing a friend who was in town for the night. He seemed a bit tipsy to me although he asured me he'd only had a few shandies (half lager half lemonade). I feel like his mum giving him a row for drinking! As I said above though the first shot has helped my mood, a few wee hormones does wonders! How are those HPTs going? You must be costing yourself a fortune! Good luck babe, it's looking good though :)

Nothing much else to report from me. Just trying to avoid any social activities for the next month - so difficult making up excuses all the time but it has to be done or everyone would ask why I don't have a drink and we don't want anyone to know what we're up to. On Saturday night DH and I are going to drive to the coast and go for our 4th wedding anniversary meal at a wee seafood place we've been recommended. Looking forward to that. I'll have some oysters before I can't have them either! Oh the things we have to give up! Talking of which I had a coffee today and yesterday! Bad girl I know but the nurse at the clinic the other day said she didn't think the odd coffee would make a difference. I'll try not to have one tomorrow! Anyone else on the caffeine or am I the only bad one?

Oh, lastly I 'm still confused about the baby aspirin. What does it do, should I take it and when?

Thanks ladies. It's nice to be back :D

Right, I'd better do some work!

Good luck and baby dust to all you mums to be.

Julie I am about to do FET tomorrow so hopefully two little blasts will be returned to me. As far as exercise goes I have been told that i am not allowed to swim during the 2ww and up to week 12. also advised that the only exercise allowed to do is walking but i think every place is different i think you will need to take advice from your doctor. You do not want to do anything that you might regtret. I take baby asprin in the morning and it is to thin the blood. i am also on clexane injections that thins the blood. Have a good wedding anniversary on Saturday.

Hi buddies,

Thank you so much for you well wishes for my little four-legged boy. They have not let him home from the hospital yet and he has severe liver damage. i am just heart-sick. He is 12 yo and my precious baby. I am waiting now for a call from the vet. It's so sad, they make him stay in a cage all night without any supervision hooked up to an IV. I really hate leaving him there alone most of all. Send lots of prayers to him. He really is an amazing little boy.

I'm too scattered to do personals right now, but have read everyone's posts and am sending the estrogen fairy to New Zealand to straighten out your naughty E2 levels Angela  And Jules, the baby aspirin plays a few different roles, one is to keep blood from getting "thick" with the high E2 levels that come with IVF, antoher is that it is thought to increase blood flow to the ovaries, and a few RE's feel it helps some funny blood coagulopathies we may not be able to test for yet. I take it with every cycle starting iwth down regs. Some RE's don't have you take it unless you have a specific blood problesm, but the norm here in California is to error on the side of taking it usually until week 10-12 as it may have those benifits and they havent' found harm with it for that period.

I'm going to call the vet and check on my baby now. Really hoping to bring him home tonight.

Baby dust to everyone. Sticky Stikcy to the 2wwers I start the dreaded lupron tonight. Get ready Dr Jeckyl  I promise to do personals later.

I went for my blood work today and it all looked good so we can continue forward into week 2 of the 2WW torture!!! Anyhow, I feel like crying at any given moment and I am Beaotchy as all get out!!! I have no reason to be I just am. Hormones I guess. It is so hard. Its like I should be happy right? I just feel like crying all day at everything! DH thinks I need therapy! LOL Other than that I have nothing going on. That is a good thing....just the occasional cramp here and there but no big deal really. Hopefully it is baby settling in for the long haul with me. Oh yeah and my clinic will only do one beta test and if it is good they do not do another one!!! I about freaked out at the desk! They must think that I am nuts. I think that it might help but I was just being silly. And hormonal-did I mention that already? LOL

Mandeeq
Good Luck with your upcoming transfer! I am so happy for you! It is so soon! As far as symptoms I am all messed up because it could be all the drugs. I have sore bbs but I did the day before the transfer, I have a heaviness in my lower abdomen region that I didn't have before. I started to get cramps on day 5 past transfer. Not bad just there. No spotting. Bloating but that could be from the PIO. and for sure hormonalness. I am crying at everything. it is really sad. HEHEHE Oh I wanted to let you guys know that my DH is so funny he comes home from work and asks how the "gamete" is doing? He is hilarious!!!!!

Daly
I am wishing your four legged baby well. That is sad that they leave him overnight without anyone there. It seems that they would have a night watch. Nurse. Doggie RN. LOL

Susan
Good Luck with FET. BRING HOME THE BABIES!!!

Hello ladies!

I have to be quick because I have to prepare a nice dinner soon. It's lobster festival at our grocery store, so we bought a cooked lobster and we're going to make nice linguinis with shrimps, lobster, asparagus and a nice bechamel! And garlic! ;) And a little nutmeg, too. And white wine.

The shots went very well this morning... well, took some time and I remembered one post in which the person joked about being a real bartender with all the mixes and the injections! LOL I had to prepare three different syringes! The Repronex gave me a hard time. The darn bubbles just kept teasing me! I must have hit that darn syringe during ten minutes to make it right! Surprisingly, the shot did not hurt one bit. I admit it, I called you all big sissies! :P I gave the shot in my tummy. And my tummy has been ACHING for the past three hours or so! OUCH! I felt nothing during the shot, or after, but now... it's like there is a hard invisible "patch" under my skin, below the injection site... it hurts when I walk, even! Hehehe looks like I'll put some warmth on it. Injecting Puregon and Lupron in my thigh did hurt, but only for 5 minutes after the injection. Was completely gone after that. And no side effects during the day. So I guess this is going super well for a first stimming day on different drugs! :D

Arizonakiwi: my sweet darling, here is a *HUG*! I'll send you good vibes and I'll also make a prayer for you. I really hope tomorrow's blood test brings you the news you've been waiting for. And sweetheart, I'm glad that my words help you. Indeed, your body is doing its best right now. I'm happy to see that your DH pampers you like you deserve and especially that you're getting some rest. I'll wait anxiously for news.

Hello Jul1e! Long time no see! It's good to have news! :D Yes, things are moving super fast with all the people getting to the exciting stages! We already have preggers! ;) Looks like we both started stimming today! Hehehe let's do the follie marathon together! :D About the 2ww, I simply walked a lot. I had to stop flamenco and it really sucked; I understand you completely. Without saying that you should sit somewhere and stay there until your pregnancy test, you should indeed be careful and not do things that might make you feel guilty afterwards. Ask your doctor and he'll tell you. As for the distractions; indulge in anything else you like! Lead a normal life and enjoy the feeling of being off most of the meds. It truly is liberating! ;) Happy Anniversary by the way! :D

gbnut: best of lucks for your transfer tomorrow! I'll be anxiously waiting for news sweetie! This is exciting! I can't wait to bump you to the 2ww section!

jenn; good luck for your EC tomorrow! are you nervous? I hope you sleep well tonight! I'll be with you in thoughts my dear! I hope they get lots of mature follies! And I'll cheer your DH's soldiers! Woohooooo!

TansRN: sorry that THursday seems so far away! But you did more than half of the 2ww now! You're a trooper! :D Thanks for your understanding, and lol on the cashier! ;) You're a sweetheart! Love the vibes, hehehehe! And Tanya... here in Canada, they don't do betas, at least not systematically. And we still have healthy pregnancies. I think it's unhealthy to grade everything, embryos and HCG... it creates so much unnecessary stress! It's no big deal if your clinic does not do a second beta. If you want it bad enough, you'll get it elsewhere I'm sure! I trust you, lol! :D

Dr Jeckyl (daly): good luck on the Lupron shots! How long will you do them? I'm so sorry that your little boy is still at the hospital... :( I know, you always feel so bad when you leave them there! It's not like you can explain why you have to! *hugs* I hope he gets better soon!

mandeeq: hello dearest! :D Glad to have news! I'm so happy the info I share is useful to you! But about the HPTs, I was just explaining why I won't personally do them. I absolutely understand if other people want to do them. I'm glad that my experience was useful to you; it's the whole point of the forum, n'est-ce-pas? *hugs* to you for your transfer! It's comiiiiiiiing! :D I hope your embies are strong and divide well!

Well my lovely ladies, I have just had a call from the clinic with my blood test results from this morning.....

It is down to 14500 !!!!!! Thank you so much for all the wonderful estergon lowering vibes you have sent in the last 24 hours. They worked !!! They want me to have a blood test again tomorrow morning, but the nurse indicated that I'll probably get the go ahead to trigger tomorrow night.

DH was lovely, he had tears in his eyes when I told him - I don't think he really thought we were going to make it past this point again and we were going to have to start all over again.

one hurdle almost over.... just a few more to jump....

Hugs to everyone. And as much baby dust as I can muster. (Boy, that lupron is not what I need right now!!! First shot is after visiting hours at the hospital tonight)

Great job! Glad it worked! I am so excited for you to get to this point and beyond-how cute of your DH to be tearing up!!! You go girl!!!

PMA Girl-
You are so right about grading things. It is so stressful. It really is. You are so funny about the beta thing in Canada and having healthy babies! I really got a chuckle outta that one! It was great. Best wishes to you as you start shooting up!! I am trying to be patient but I am near dead!

Hi Ladies,

Hope you are all well.

I have for sale 7 boxes of unopened Merional 150 IU, Exp 09-2007, stored below 25C as stated on box. I had a quicker response to these drugs than the Doc thought, so he over estimated how many I needed, that's the reason I'm selling these back on. If anyone interested please mail me. Thanks

I'm having EC on Monday.

Thanks
