Aunty and Becky

Post by zirly »

Hi Aunty and Becky,

I was so happy to log onto this site and still find you here (wishing I was finding you here with babies in your bellies ofcourse). I don't know if you remember me but I was in the Sept hopes and dreams. I got preggo with a girl and Becky...you were cyber g-dmom!

Anyway...I think of you two often and have actually been reading on and off through my pregnancy. Aunty...I followed your dissapointment, and Becky...I've followed your strength and resolution. You both are so strong and I just keep hoping with each log in I am pleasantly surprised to find your tickers reading that you are pregnant!

I really do not want to make this about me...but I did feel like I wanted to let you know that my baby girl is here. She is healthy and waiting anxiously for a cyber g-dsisiter or brother from each of you!!!

Just know I will follow you until I see storks under your names.

Thinking of you both,

Zirly

hey ladies

how are we all??

nimble - those numbers sound fantastic!!! lets hope and pray that they are much higher when you get the results tomorrow. cant wait to hear....what time do you find out??yes, i'm feeling better thanks. you're so right, i'm so glad that we came back so close to the weekend. ah, i'm so excited for you!

curlydoo - oh, you'd better watch out then about using the internet! yes, it's normal to have a delayed AF after your BFN. i asked the same question a couple of weeks ago and i ended up being 10 days late. the clinic did get me to test just in case but it was obviously negative. how late are you??

carolyn - hey hun!! you're not a rubbish bud! we all know what its like with work and that. and these threads move fairly fast so its hard to stay on top of everything. yes, i think you're right, we might be cycle buds again. woohoo! oh, hang on, no i think i'm 2 weeks behind you. what are the rough dates of your cycle? congrats on AF showing her face. oh, and about your accu. you've done accu with all your cycles, havent you?? do you have an accupuncturist that comes to the clinic with you??

jb - welcome to this thread and the best of luck with your next try! and congrats on being married!!! the location sounded lovely!! and wow about that woman with the 2 sets of quads. amazing!!

gill - thanks hun, i'm glad i'm back! glad you're getting excited...ooohh, not long till your app!!

mel - hey!! soooooooo glad that you're tests all came back ok!! that is fantastic news. you must be so relieved. sorry to hear that your tmt had to be stopped but at least you're still one of the "awaiting tmt girls"!

aunty - hey my dear!!! how are you?? the list is looking fab yet again!!!

nannybear - welcome to this board and congrats on your son!! you'll find these ladies very supportive!!

rachel - yeah, feeling much better thanks. just been taking it easy this weekend, ready for work tomorrow. oohh, not long now till your holiday. you must be getting excited. and good on you for making yourself feel better by getting your hair done. bet it looks lovely.

welshbugger - dont think your iron tablets should interfere with tmt but not sure. hopefully those tablets will make you feel much better. fancy not going in to your clinic to ask!!  make sure you do it by friday, otherwise you'll have all your cyberfriends show up on your door, not very pleased!! watched grease last night too and thought that the last 2 couples were the best. do think its a shame that we can vote for them separately as off next week and not sooner. think it would have been much fairer to do that sooner. i'm just trying to arrange for the family to go and see the show in london over the summer but its becoming a disaster as people in the family are not getting on/going on holiday/etc so hubby and i probably will end up going to see it on our own. anyway, we're going to make a night of it and stay in a hotel too. cant wait.

nicky - hey babe, how are you?? yes, feeling much better thanks. i see you're definitely iui-ing it then in july. woohoo!!

zirly - congratulations on your baby girl. you must be over the moon.

hi to everyone else ive missed. oh, actually, has anyone heard from bec from the dec/jan thread?? she must be really far gone now, i might see if i can find her. anyway, no real news from me. i'm feeling much better so i'm back to work tomorrow. just waiting for af now and then i can book in again with the clinic. so excited but so nervous too. i'm already dreading test day!! i'm due on the 3rd june, which would mean EC and ET in the week commencing the 30th july (if it goes like last time) but if i'm a day early then they can book me in a week early. not that it matters too much. have just been on our clinics website and they've released new stats, which show a better success rate so they're obviously improving which is brilliant. anyway, i'm babbling on so sorry about that. its just that ive missed you guys!!! :D

oh, one quick question before i promise to leave you all alone!! what kind of excuses that you all use for employers/friends?? i'm not very imaginative and will have to book time off from work (who dont know) and will no doubt end up cancelling social events if i dont feel like it. last time round it didnt matter too much as everyone knew (and i mean EVERYONE!) but this time we're keeping it very limited.

Hi Ladies

Hope that you are all enjoying the weekend. Weather a bit better in London today but still patchy.

Becky - sorry but thought that Bradley and young girl had to go last night in Grease. Think that Alison is great so she had to be saved. Think that you are right that Susan or Alison will win - think that we all are in agreement as Rachel thinks the same thing. Find the guys harder to call between the three who are left with dark hair - know that the judges will get rid of the younger lad with the stammer. He has a great voice and is a lovely lad but would never manage all the dialogue. I love the show. Think that it is going to be great over the next few weeks - figure that I will miss the girls semi final as in Dubai for work. Need to make sure that I set the video for the right day this time

Rachel - your hair sounds really nice. Hope that it put a smile on your face. I should have dyed mine today to get rid of the grey but just not found the ommphhh yet. Dh and I have been away a lot lately. He has to go to San Francisco for a memorial service for his Uncle and Aunt's son. He took his life at 3-2. So sad. Wish that I could be with my dh today and give him a huge hug. It is good that he has gone but will be a rough day for him and his family. I also have to go to Dubia and then Frankfurt for work. After that I should be doing some work within 20 mins drive of our house & within 1 hour of the clinic. Should be there throughout tmt which should make things easier. How are you doing on the diet? I need advice. I have been putting on weight, not losing it. Keep saying that I should try to shed some pounds before the next cycle but keep putting it off. Please get me motivated - you have done so well

Shantala - my AF will likely really kick in tomorrow. Then think that I get to start like 5 days post ovulation which for me will be around 23/24 days time. So guess that I start DR around 14th June if all goes to plan. Guess that I will await AF then on about D5 need to get a hysteroscopy done. Think that will be around 30th June. If that is ok then I can get going on stimmies. So reckon that EC will be around 14 July based on past cycles. So testing right at end of July. So think that I may be a little ahead of you in terms of timings but could alter for me as the new clinic likes to go with the flow and tells you nothing in advance!!! On acu. I did for cycle 2 & cycle 3 but not the 1st one. I found the person on the internet. Have to go there. They don't come with me. Luckily now I have moved clinics, they are just around the corner from each other so should make it even easier for me. Have booked all my appointments for this cycle apart from 2 on ET day which we just arrange via text. Are you thinking of having? So jealous that you are going to see Grease. Might ask dh if he can arrange for my birthday - but then I asked him for Grey's Anatomy (Series 1 & Series 2) on dvd so may be not  Love that show. I have an auto immune disorder which means my feet can get very sore/swollen so usually blame that as reason for not drinking/not going out! Say what ever is easiest for you. At the end of the day you have to look out for you and manage the stress what ever way you can

Nicki - hi hun. Good to see that you will be iui - ing in July. Great that you came to join us while you wait. I am sorry that you have been here for a long time. Cannot compete with you on that front but do wonder the same thing about why I have done 3 Fresh cycles and still no answers. It is so frustrating. A lot of the ladies here have had quite a few rounds and so know the drill. That is why I have found it a great place to hang out

Zirly - congrats on your little girl. Gives us all hope to cling on to

Nimbe - will keep everything crossed that you get great numbers tomorrow hun

Aunty - very impressed with all the techie talk about the list. I have no idea how you do it! I am so techie incompetent. What news of the house move?

Jen1d - hope that you are not working too hard. Ha Ha. Pot and kettle!!! Missing you. Come back and post soon. Hope that you did not have to work all weekend and the kids behaved themselves

Hugs to everyone else.

Had a bit of a down day today. Probably the usual of AF arriving, dh being away and thinking of him at a memorial service for a young man on the other side of the world. Plus AF is here but not fully here if you know what I mean - just want to get on with it now. Guess we all have down days from time to time

Take care everyone. Promise to be back with a smile soon - busy week ahead so may not be able to post too much!

Lots of Love
Carolyn

Arrggghhhh - forgot to ask you all a question. Is it cool to stay here whilst going through tmt? Don't want to upset anyone especially as this is a great thread to hang out on whilst we all wait. However looked at June-July thread (no offence) and just not sure that I can throw myself into a new thread yet again after doing it three times for each fresh cycle. Know so many of you that would much prefer to stay here if that is cool with you. But would not want to upset people who are waiting/not cycling as yet. Find two threads too stressful and wish to do everything that I can to minimise stress this time around.

Please let me know if I can stay :?:

Love to you all.
