Hi everyone...

Gosh lots to catch up with....

caroline- Hate the feeling when AF arrives and you feel low. Hugs to ya honey ((((hugs)))) I understand the not wanting to throw yourself into another new thread after startin tmt, especially when you have built up a strong bond with other buddies. It helps to have buds who know where your at!!!!

Jackie hope beta numbers are continuing to grow and grow :D :D

gekogirl- Hi ya honey great to have you here!

welshgirl congrats on being a Cyber Godmother!!!! I haven't been watching Grease but can't wait for BB to start again....

Hi to Rachel Zirly Nicki Nimbe Aunty shantala becky jen1d Curlydoo gill Mel nanybear and anyone i have missed :D :D

I have not posted all weekend as we have been decorating the hall ( and partly) painting the lounge...Don't know when we'll get time to finish it as we are away next weekend visiting friends  So i will need to get the finger out and fat ass off the couch at night to finish it off !!! But it is looking good. More our style. A choclaetly colour as a feature and hessian as a neutral on other walls. We moved in last October and were waiting until our wedding/honeymoon was over before looking at decor. Feels more a home now.

:D :D Love to ya all

jen, JB

hi there, just a quickie between meetings - phoned the clinic this morning and my numbers have gone up    they are above 2000 on Saturday woohoo wooo hooo

They have booked me in for another scan just to rule out the eptopic so go in again on Wednesday, she did say that unlikely to see h/beat as too early but they should now be able to see a sac or something.

I guess they are just a bit concerned because of the spotting which isn't easing up at all

Shall catch up on personals later

Hi Lady's....

Zirly of course we remember you, how amazing she is here already I'm so happy for you, you went through so much back in the day, it's so sweet of you to think of us. yeah we are still here, thank you so much for letting us know all is well with you...hugs

Shantala did you think up things to tell your employer?...what we said to anyone we didn't want to know was that i was having some female issues and was on treatment for it, do you know not one person asked what kind or wanted any more info all the lady's presumed it was either hormones or cancer and the guy's well they never want details do they...LOL i wasn't really lying just not telling the whole truth

Carolyn thank you but im not really a techie it's so easy to do really is...Aunty proof  im sorry your having a down day, yeah i think we all have them we are entitled to them too, we have been through so much 2 steps forward 6 back is how it feels to me most of the time...hugs for you you can get passed this af then onward and outward (belly wise that is)

Gecko a great big Image really good to have you here...kind of, wish you had a big baby belly of course ... another one of us "darn it are we still here" lady's. im so sorry about your BFN yeah it sucks so much, heartbreaking. i hope your RE has some great move forward things to say....hugs

Rachel have a great day at work...

Hi JB, oo decorating we cant wait to start painting our new home...specially after last night mannn that's another story...LOL. your colours sound wonderful ...lol @ fat ass comment

Jackie...woohoo wow your numbers sound great now we just need the spotting to stop, bloody hell we never catch a real break do we, cant wait till Wednesday now i bet it will be a huge relief to see your beanie/s and know that the spotting is just there to do your head in...thinking of you

LOL Becky, man i remember that feeling, i used to take one sheet of paper and go for a crocodile dundee (walk about) when i got board for some reason if anyone see's you with that paper they think your doing something...

well as for me i cant wait to move...we have new downstairs neighbors very noisy ones too...last night we went to bed early hubby has to get up at 4 for work he doesn't get home till 9.30pm so needs his kip (sleep) any way the new guy's started a huge verbal fight really loud at 11.30 Sam was sleeping and it didn't wake him, then the fight finished and they put the telly on very loud...well our next door people thought it was us and started to bang on our wall so loud they woke Sam up, man i was pissed the third time they did it i put my coat on ran down stairs banged on the door he opens the door and starts swearing at me i tell him its not us he tells me "well go next F***ing door and tell them to shut up"...i told him erm something not very lady like at all ...i think downstairs must have heard us they turned the telly off....Sam got 4 hours sleep

love to all Aunty

hey all

nimble - WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO bloody HOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! your numbers are brilliant hunny. sorry i didnt text back but my credit had run out. i'll be keeping everything crossed for wednesday now. when's your scan?? oohhhh, cant wait.

carolyn - you better stay or else!!!! i know exactly what you mean. if af shows next week for me i'll be starting downregging 21 dyas later so strictly speaking i wont be a lady-awaiting-tmt but i love it here. so if you go then i'll have to go too!!! and we cant have that. they cant get rid of us that easily!!  how are you feeling now?? hope af is truly here and thats made you feel a bit more positive. ive just followed your dates in my diary and yes, i think i'll be a week or two behind you. it also depends when Af shows for me. if she shows on the 3rd i'll have EC in the w/c 30 july. if its just a day earley EC will be a week earlier. so with a bit of luck we might be able to share at least one week out of the 2ww together! thanks for the info on accu. how interesting. i had accu with my first one, whcih was a local lady. she didnt come to the hospital with me so the accu before and after ET was quite early and quite late. just wondered if it would make too much of a difference. not sure if i can afford it again although i'm sure i could at a push. i'm also wondering how much good it actually did me as it was quite stressful trying to fit it in and i never truly looked forward to it as the needles often hurt. dont get me wrong, i loved the relaxed feeling once they were in but i never really looked forward to it initially. anyway, i have thought about maybe finding another accupuncturist who may go up to the clinic with me so that the accu is much closer to the time of the ET. hhmmmm.... fantastic that yours is just round the corner now. that will make it a bit easier for you. god, sorry for the long post....

geckogirl - we definitely know how you're feeling so sounds like you've come to the right place. so....welcome!!!!!! praying for a big baby belly for you next time!!

becky - aahh, i hope they come to belfast. why dont you come down to london, stay with me and you, carolyn and i go and see grease?? how cool would that be!!! (and i'd happily go and see it twice... )....we could make a weekend of it. you make me laugh pretending to work!! in the last department i was in i could do that too but i cant in this one as my boss sits behind me!! cool about buying brian that 4x4 experience. i bought steve a ferrari day for his bday this year and he loved it. they're so cool.

rachel - hey hun, hope you had a good day at work!

JB - your post made me laugh. hope you manage to sort out a time to finish your hallway. bet it looks lovely!

aunty - hey aunty!! thanks for the tips. i think i'll go for that one as you're right, hopefully nobody will ask any more questions. sorry to hear about your neighbour(s). thats terrible!!!! but i'm glad you werent ladylike! hope they get their act together soon!!!

jen1d - wow, your work sleepover sounds tough. oohh, you must be excited that your papers are going on wednesday. cool!

hi to everyone else!!!!!!! my first proper day at work went well so thats good. sticky baby dust everyone!!!!!!!! :D :D

Ha!!! And some of you probably thought you had finally gotten rid of me  . I finally found where you guys are hiding! Welshgirl-- this was a fab idea, I would like to check in on you all periodically.

I am also on a break... aka my "I need a f**king break" break. Still have 2 more fresh to go, oh goody goody  (yes, that would be apathy and jadedness you may have detected...). ANYWAY... probably won't be cycling until August as dh's swimmers were LESS THAN stellar last time (as per the embryologist... finding a nl sperm was like looking for a needle in a haystack), now shoving supplements down his throat (with a smile, of course) and waiting 3 months for those hopefully to kick in.

ANYWAY... to those of you I have cycled with... and there are several of you... it is good to "read" you again.

To everyone... wishing you all the best of luck!

Nicky – so nice to see you back on the board – we have missed you – I know it can be all consuming sometimes but you know you’re welcome back anytime – just remember pop by and say hi every now again.

So you’ve decided to go back to IUI – don’t blame you, you had a horrendous experience with IVF – fingers crossed hun.

Aunty – I told dh about what you said on spotting and one or two babies, bless he nearly crashed the car on the way home!!
I hope you told both of your neighbours what for – and I think on your last night you should have one hell of a leaving party (mid week) and keep them all awake all night ! Poor Sam, bless, he is probably shattered.

Zirly – hey I remember you from Sept hopes and dreams thread – so nice of you to pop in and congratulations on your baby girl.

Rachel – hairdo sounds great - hows work today - hope your week improves a little from last week. (((HUGS))))

Shantala – come on AF – I’m a slow dance for you to jeer her on – can’t wait for you to start again – EC/ET end of July wow sounds so long away but know it will here in a shot.
With regards to work, I’ve told my boss everything as she has been fantastic about covering up my absences and I’ve told her about my condition now because the amount of time I’m having off with scans etc. Its more difficult as DH and I work together so we are ‘missing’ at the same time – no one has said anything yet but it won’t take long.

With social side of things, me and DH try and stay in our own rounds and he pretends to get me a vodka and tonic (which it isn’t really hee hee hee) and then people think I’m drinking although it has been commented how much I can hold down in one session

Carolyn hope you slow down soon, seems you’re doing 100 miles an hr at the mo. How are you today, are you feeling a little less blue?

Hey and don’t you dare leave, we need to keep an eye on you and make sure you rest every now again!!

Geckogirl – welcome really sorry to see you here (if you know what I mean ) – these girls are the best ever

Becky Oi watch the fattie boom boom you  , but I love it really!! Believe it or not my trousers are already tight, obviously going to be a big bun in the oven!!

Is big bro really starting in 10 days??? Normally C4 is advertising it like mad, haven’t seen a single advert. I hope it’s a good one, I did read that they are picking people who are likely to go for each other and they are aiming for lots sexy scenes, orgies and who knows what else (well I did read it in the News of the World!!)

UUmmm your walls sounds lovely JB – we have walnut on our living room walls, started out as a feature wall and I liked it so much I carried on painting!! There’s nothing like painting and making yr house feel more like yours.

wow jen how do you cope with those hours – hats off to you girl and doing such a difficult job. Papers off on Wednesday – OMG is it so near and becoming so real!

well thats it for me, long day ahead tomorrow so off to rest and go to bed - todays news has started to sink in and we are slowly allowing ourselves to get a little excited but still a little cautious about the scan. I have absolutely no symptons what so ever (well apart from the dreaded spotting which is still here  ) except my waist has seemed to have expanded so all positive signs :D

Hi to anyone I've missed, the list is getting long already and thank you Becky/Aunty for my special mention at the top :D

nite Jackie xx

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. My DH and I have had a really hard few days. He was on vacation last week (thank god) and just went back to work today. He is a firefighter and went to training in Riverside, CA for the next three days then he is working is regular shift and a few days of overtime so I won't see him again until next Tuesday. Sometimes I only see him a few days a month during fire season which is really hard. So after we got our BFN on last Thursday we tried to have a carefree weekend of too much eating, drinking, hot tubbing etc... I did ok trying to be cheerful until last night (after one too many tequillas) and just broke down and cried and cried. He was really good and said all the right things but we are both just so sad and defeated. I am sure you know the feeling! Anyway, I am sooooo thankful for such a great DH but just so sad that he had to leave for a week. Thank God I am on sabbatical from my job so I don't have to return to work until the end of August. I am hoping that my RE doesn't rush us to try again. I feel like my body and spirit needs a break from all of this......

Hope the new week is a wonderful one for all of you.

HI GANG,

have just written to everyone and then pressed the shift button on my lap top and lost the whole damn lot...ArHhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!! talk about wanting to pull my hair ut by the roots!!  Anyway will try and sum up....

nimble -Great to hear your numbers are going up... :D :D Is DH sharing your scan on the 23rd. Hope you get to see beanie at long last :D :D You must be so excited.

Geko- Honey i know it's such a tough time...it does take a while to get back on your feet. it's such a bummer that DH is having to work way soon. Is there no way you could visit him as you are off work for the summer???? IT is difficult enough going through the heartache and grief without a hug now and then ...so seending you some cycber hugs ((((HUGS)))) take care x x

Becky- good Morning to you too!!! It's nearly lunch time now so you'll so be able to escape the office. :D :D

aunty- what a nightmare of neighbours you have...Sheer hell for you and especially poor Sam...betch ya are so glad you are moving soon. I liked someones comment ( sorry can't remember who???) about having a mid week party just to get your own back  Whats your new house going to be like ??? Are you moving for space or location??? x x

Jen the same thing happened to me last your with the topic review thing, for no rhymne or reason. it did it for about 3 wks then stopped and has been fine ever since. At the mo I just have problems posting now and again. Waiting for ages to get topics up and to post replies.
I am off to get my bloods done his afternoon so hope the results come back Quickly  the countdown is ON for your appointment now. 2weeks to go... x x x

Shantala-Have you started a new job?? glad the 1st day went well you sounded on a real high. x x

A big hi to everyone else

I am still needing to finish the painting. Was hoping to do a little each night but last night DH and i walked the dog and then did the weekly shop. As a side note does anyone understand that when you shop with Hubby the shopping trolly is full of tat ( ie. ice lollies, beer and choc ( I don't mind that one mmmn). It all adds up to the same ammount weekly ammount we spend but i have NADA to make for meals the rest of the week....I know will sort him out with Beans on toast and pot noodles
anyway getting back to last night....By the time i made dinner and cleared up it was 9.10 and i couldn't be bothered to get the paint brush and rollor out again!!!! It is looking good. (thank you all for your praise on colour choice.) So the initiative is there just lack of time and energy!
the rest of the lounge will get done!!!!!!!!!!!!
lloing hugs to everyone

hi all

in my lunch hour so i thought i'd pop in (i've stolen a pc in a diff department so i can get some privacy)....

JB - your posts are so funny. i SO know what you mean about the weekly shop with/without dh. i hate going food shopping with him as it takes so long and like you said you come back with useless stuff.  about my job, yes, i started a new job about 6 weeks ago and it was my first day back yesterday after the holiday. sorry for the confusion.

welshbugger - no probs hun. you're right, i did mean it and you know you're always more than welcome to stay. maybe next year you can come down with dh, they can look after the 2 sets of twins and we can go and watch grease in london.

geckogirl - aaww, hun! i so know how you feel. we all do. like becky said, it will get easier and better. you're in the best place here with us all right behind you! hugs!!

nimble - thanks for the jig!! i panicked all of last night and hardly slept a wink because i need AF to show up after the 3rd june (and not before). reason being that if AF is before the 3rd, EC will be w/c 23 july but if i comes on 3rd june or after EC will be w/c 30 july. i realised last night that we have a major deadline in the we/c 23 july, which i am solely responsible for in july so wont be able to have any time out then. if af shows on the 3rd (when its due) then its ok as that deadline would have passed. even if i get af before the 3rd i may see if i can downreg for an extra week and explain to my clinic. anyway, sorry for babbling. glad that you were able to tell your employer, it does make things so much easier. i wonder how long it will take people to realise at your work. oohh, how exciting, only one more day till your scan. keeping my fingers crossed.

sassy - hhheeeeeeeeyyyyy hunny!!!!!!!! lovely to see you here. how have you been?? you made me laugh about the "i need a f***ing break" break - i so know what you mean. ive been off the boards for a little while too but have returned!! hehe....no seriously, wish i didnt have to see you here but its lovely anyway! welcome back!!

carolyn - you feeling any more positive hun?? thinking of you!!

hi to everyone else!!! as i said in my post to nimble, ive hardly slept all night as i realised my EC/ET potentially may clash with a major deadline at work (that i was given responsibility for yesterday) if af arrives even just a day early. if it does then i'll see if my clinic can let me downreg for an extra week (which they would anyway if af is on time) so hopefully that should be ok. lets see what happens with AF.
